  • Hi,   To get inside the running docker, you can do the following :   Open an SSH connection to your Unraid Server (or on the server running the docker). Type:  docker exec

  • Hi Graham,   Just updated the UniFi to 5.5.24.  I also created a Beta branch, currently having 5.6.19.  (To get Beta branch, edit in advance mode the Docker page and change the repo by putti

I just finally got it to work myself. I had to blow away my docker image, cleaned out all unused and unifi templates. Created a new docker image, installed the unifi docker and worked on first try.

pducharme,

I just notice this while trying to install your Unifi Docker:

docker: layers from manifest don't match image configuration.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this?  Thank you!

Yes, do not use the Internal IP of the docker, but the IP of your Unraid host instead. (ie. 192.168.x.x and not 172.16.10.26)

Does UniFi-Video Controller (NVR) Docker essentially replace the need to have a physical NVR in your home? I was looking into some of their cameras, but the NVR they sell is quite expensive. It would be nice to replicate that on my UnRaid Server.

Yes, that's the point of running this docker.  No need for their physical NVR at all, it achieve the same.

Yeah, I'm going to have to do this. I imagine you all would limit NVR storage to a single disk to prevent multiple disks from having to constantly spin up?

Hello, what is the current version of the Unifi docker? I was using 5.0.7 on my PC until I rebuilt my unRAID server and I'm unable to restore a backup due to the version mismatch.

Thanks

Just wanted to check in and see if there were plans to update the unifi wifi and unifi video dockers to the latest versions?

Ok, UniFi Video docker updated to 3.4.0 (latest).

The UniFi docker is already at the latest 5.0.7 version since a while.

Anyone have a fix for this.  I only get the login screen.  I get not prompts to setup a user and password.

I finally got it working by enter an email as the username.

Pducharme,

I have installed the Unifi Video container and set it up.  I am trying to view a live feed from within Unifi Video but I am having port issues.  I have forwarded the ports used by the container to my Unraid IP address, but I still have no luck.  Also, within the Unifi Video container it reports the UVC's IP address to be 172.17.0.10.  Which IP address should I forward these ports to?  I have tried both and nothing seems to work.  I can view the feed if I log into the camera directly using its IP address.

Solved:

I ended up having to switch the container to host instead of bridge.  Then I had to unmanage the camera and restart the container.  Once restarted I logged back in and adopted the camera again.  This allowed me to view the camera's feed from within the Unifi Video container.  Hope this helps anyone with similar issues.  I also had all ports used by the container (7443,7445,7446,7447,7080,6666,22) forwarded to my Unraid's IP address.

Can you give the link to where I can fix this error?  I am reading the Docker FAQ, but have not found the actual solution to resolve this error.
