July 5, 201511 yr do you have SSL turned on in sonarr? if so use 192.168.1.8:8090 (must be turned on in sab also) I enabled SSL in sonarr. i don't know if i have enabled it in sabnzbd i will check it out. where would i find this setting if i may ask? I use the ssl from my usenet provider and i have enabled ssl. but do i need to use the 8090 port for ssl anyways?
July 5, 201511 yr if you have ssl https enabled in sabnzbd, use port 8090 to get to sab via a ssl connection. the setting in sabnzbd is config > general. Sorry, it's https that requires port 8090, not ssl. I have SSL turund off in sonarr, I just https. I think I might have had issues when I turned it on. maybe try turning it off. in sonarr, under download client, you set the IP and the port separately. if you don't have a user and password set in sab, don't enter anything for those boxes in sonarr; leave them blank if you still have issues, please post any error messages that you're currently getting after making any/all these changes.
July 6, 201511 yr Hey Binhex wouldn't it make more sense to create a support thread for each of your dockers, this 46 page thread is getting a little unruly :-)
July 6, 201511 yr Author Hey Binhex wouldn't it make more sense to create a support thread for each of your dockers, this 46 page thread is getting a little unruly :-) probably, but thats quite a bit more admin to do :-(, i think this is more a symptom of not so clever forum software tbh, there REALLY aught to be a way to search current thread at the very least - looks like the slightly oddly positioned "search" button at the top right does indeed search current thread. I would hope LT as some point should consider using a more modern forum platform, i realise this is not a easy undertaking but i think it needs to be done, esp with more and more interest in unraid now we have the awesome v6 out as a stable release :-).
July 6, 201511 yr Author Hi binhex, just upgraded to v6 and installed your delugeVPN Docker, which works perfectly except for two issues. I was hoping I could get some of your input. 1) I have configured my PC settings to use Privoxy and to ignore it for local (intranet) addresses. However, when I try to access other systems on my local network by IP, I get a failed connection. I have to use the hostname to connect to the systems. 2) In addition, I have DHT enabled but it doesn't actually show any DHT connections as shown. Is this normal? Any advice appreciated. Thanks! i can only assume that the vpn provider your connecting to does not allow DHT, im guessing you have defined your incoming port for deluge correctly yes?, this should be set by your provider, if your using PIA then i automatically set this for you.

July 7, 201511 yr Unfortunately, that didn't change anything. In the Docker, does it actually show a number by DHT Nodes? I fired up the Windows client using the same gateway and port and it showed some DHT clients. I had to use port 9201 to get it working with pia
July 7, 201511 yr I'm honestly not sure what DHT is, nor what DHT nodes are, sorry. I just know that when I tried turning on VPN, it wouldn't connect to some of their servers. I changed the port to 9201, and was then able to connect to all the servers I tried via pia. Sorry it didn't help you
July 7, 201511 yr I'm making the switch from torrents to Usenet and I'm looking to setup SAB and Sonarr. Howerver I'm a little confused about what paths to set for each Docker. So for SAB I have the following: /config - /mnt/user/Docker/appdata/sabnzbdvpn /data - Don't know what to set this to For Sonarr: /config - /mnt/user/Docker/appdata/sabnzbdvpn /media - Don't know what to set this to /downloads - Don't know what to set this to As you can see I'm a little confused what to set my media and download folders to so these programs will work together. FYI my Plex paths are as follows:

FYI my Plex paths are as follows: For Sab, forget /data... Add one called /downloads Sonaar - /media is where your TV shows are stored (/mnt/user/videos/TV) Set /downloads in both SAB and Sonaar to be something like /mnt/cache/downloads Within Sab tell it to download to /downloads (not its default folder) Within Sonaar, tell it to move completed shows to /media As an aside, it doesn't look like you're using Binhex's sonaar. Not that it particularily matters, but if you were all of the container volume names would match (ie: there would be a /data within sonaar)
July 7, 201511 yr No worries but thanks for the suggestions. If you look at the bottom of your deluge GUI, you'll see a small icon with a bunch of interconnected circles. If DHT is working, there should be a number next to the icon. I'm honestly not sure what DHT is, nor what DHT nodes are, sorry. I still don't know what DHT is or means or why I do or don't want it, but it seems it's not working for me either. I guess I should clarify. Before I changed the port, I simply couldn't get into the GUI at all. Changing the port allowed me to get into the GUI.
July 7, 201511 yr DHT essentially allows you to find other peers without a central tracker. Some argue the merits of turning on DHT, but since we're using a VPN, IMHO, there's no harm in having it on. Thanks for the clarification on what you see on your end. It's not a huge loss to not have DHT working, as having deluge operate through a VPN is of far greater benefit. I see the icon, but no numbers. Clicking the icon does nothing either. I currently have a user share called Docker that is cache only. Inside of that I have my dockers.img and a folder called appdata. Inside appdata is the folder I stored my configs for each of my dockers. There's no issue with this setup correct?

Yes, your Docker/appdata folder should work fine, as long as it's cache only. I suggest making sure it's on the cache drive, just to keep an array disk from having to spin up whenever you're using a docker. the common location is /mnt/cache/appdata, but /mnt/cache/Docker/appdata would work also.

Yes it's definitely on the cache drive only as I have two user shares (Docker and Downloads) that are cache only. While I'm on the subject, how do you go about backing up your Docker data/appdata in case of a cache drive failure? DELUGE: Also, I've got my Deluge docker installed but I'm not sure how to enable the included plugins. When I go to check them off and hit Apply/OK, nothing happens and when I go back into Preferences they are unchecked. What am I missing?
July 7, 201510 yr Hi binhex - I should have thought to try one of the European gateways, and have confirmed that DHT does work on the Netherlands gateway. Strange why if connected to a US gateway on the desktop Deluge client allows DHT but the Docker doesn't. I had to install your sabnzbdvpn Docker so that I could use Privoxy with a US based gateway while Deluge uses the Netherlands gateway. Thanks for your help (and Dockers)! I can confirm dht does indeed work with VPN provider pia, maybe certain gateways only allow it, could you try using the Netherlands gateway and see if that helps.

In any case glad you got a workaround, ive found the netherlands gateway is pretty quick and is one of the fastest gateways on the PIA network so you might be happy to stick with this a see how things go.
July 7, 201510 yr Got a warning today in sab regarding the par2 parameters not being valid. Came to the thread and did a search, and noticed that the multicore version of par2 was swapped out. I don't suppose there's any way to update the first post with a major change such as this in the future? Are there any plans to reincorporate in the future, by chance? Maybe utilize a mirror to host the package, or is that against the license? Sorry if this was already asked/suggested. I did search, honest.
