I second this request.

I too like to run the Mover, stop Dockers, and stop Array prior to updating to reduce the risk of failure.

That's part of 'mover logging' which can be turned back on.

woh the VNC upgrade has made a massive difference! thanks :)

after updating I'm having trouble accessing the dashboard. I used to access it using http://myip   I've also tried http://tower but nothing seems to be working. When I do my ip it gives me a connection refused message. It is up and running because my plex and tautulli dockers are running and accessible.

Same issue here...

ERROR: Opening device /dev/ttyUSB0 (errno=13 Permission denied)

when I ls -la inside the /dev/ folder the permissions is following

crw--w----  1 root tty       4,   9 Mar 14 19:56 tty9
crw-rw----  1 root dialout   4,  64 Mar 14 19:56 ttyS0
crw-rw----  1 root dialout 188,   0 Mar 14 19:56 ttyUSB0
crw-------  1 root root      3,   0 Mar 14 19:56 ttyp0
crw-------  1 root root      3,   1 Mar 14 19:56 ttyp1

maybe something wrong here?

Yes this issue is annoying, docker's documentation doesn't say anything about this so I wonder if it's something in @limetech's implementation/build of docker

I'm using VAAPI in Emby and now I have to add chmod lines in my go file to make sure the DRI node is actually usable.

Assuming server name 'tower' and https is not enabled, try 'tower.local/'

Still not working. As far as I'm aware I don't have https enabled. I can  telnet into my server still. No idea why I can't get into the dashboard

from the command prompt,

diagnostics

and then upload the file stored on the flash drive

Also cannot boot default as I get stuck at loading bzroot. Had to plug in a monitor and boot into gui mode.

May or may not be the problem, but "marks_media" is not a valid NETBIOS name.  (You would've seen (none) at the login prompt via telnet/putty)  Get rid of the underscore in Settings - Identification.  The later versions unRaid is far more strict about this

ok. any idea how can i do this if I can't access my settings from the webgui?

- Do I just change it in the ident.cfg?

Edited by flimflamman

edit on the flash drive /config/ident.cfg either on another computer or via nano locally

You will have to reboot for it to take effect

That did the trick. Thanks everyone for your help

Hmm, my NGINX docker app is having trouble connecting to the internet after the update.

And all of my docker apps show an update is available. When I click update on any of them, it tries to but 0 bytes are changed and it stays showing update available.

edit: I downgraded and all is good again.

Just wondering which version of unRAID did you upgrade from?

The netBIOS thing started rearing its head at 6.5.0-rc3 (https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/69801-unraid-os-version-650-rc3-available/?tab=comments#comment-638565)

unRaid however has always complained about incompatible netBIOS names in identity settings forever, but it never actually affected anything til then (I ran an incompatible name since 5.0 beta 8 with zero problems).

Next release of this is going to handle this, along with some other things that have come up.

Running 6 hours! No problems

I saw your RC6 call traces thread about Emby. https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/70083-rc6-call-traces/?tab=comments#comment-641788

Are you still getting them with 6.5? I am getting the exact same errors with 6.5 and Emby Server. Had to roll back to 6.4.1.

Here's the Diagnostics from 6.5 before rolling back

While you just found a bug (screen shouldn't go white - I confirmed), what you're trying to do is wrong in the first place.  You want to enter in 500G , not 100G to increase the vdisk to 500G

i did that, i put 500G and then press enter = white screen not returning to the web gui
