Hi,

I'm also having the same error as above and changing refresh to 2000 doesn't fix it. I've seen ich777 has updated his intel gpu top plugin but that also hasn't fixed it.

Running the intel_gpu_top command via terminal gives me all the correct information. Do I still need to try updating?

Can intel-gpu-top be updated manually if the plugin is installed? If so does anyone know where to find instructions?

Quesation about GPU Statistics Plugin for nvidia graphic card (tesla p4)

When I am using emby (hardware acceleration), the plugin seems to miss some info such as Active Apps as shown in the graph.

When I use the nvidia-smi command, the terminal shows:

Can you please explain what do you want to do exactly?

You should always be on the latest version and not install an old version.

Please do keep in mind that my update has nothing to do with that issue.

Do you maybe can share a bit more information what system are you running?

It is really hard to troubleshoot when you don‘t share any details about your system.

A screenshot what the GPU Statistics plugin displays would be also nice.

Active Apps

What is the active app that you are runnig?

Is it just ffmpeg or is it really Emby?

Ut is really hard to detect in case of Emby because it uses ffmpeg.

Did you yet try Jellyfin if it also is the same there?

Change intel top command timeout to .7 1.3

What i can do for help you to investigate my issue? My iGPU is a N5105 Jasperlake maybe that info can help.

Speaking with ich777 it is a known issue with  intel_top, for some reason rc6 goes to zero after while should be 100 for no utilisation. Calculation is 100 - rc 6. A new top has been update so may be worth setting if the issue still exists, but I cannot fix in the plugin.

Change intel top command timeout to .7 1.3 and refresh to 2000

Increasing values as your suggestion the plugin started working again, except for Power draw graphic section that is always showing 0 value but with full "white" bar after first use of GPU hardware decoding.

This is a long standing issue (...actually caused by Intel-GPU-Top) and the people at intel-gpu-tools couldn't reproduce this either but I assume they don't have their computers running as long as we have our Unraid servers running.

If you reboot the bar will go back to normal but after a few days show exactly the same behaviour.

Sorry I missed the 'timeout' bit. This seems to have brought it back to showing stats.

Are there any other symptoms as a result of this?

Thanks :)

No, its just the way the command has to be processed an allows long enough for it to create a full json Hence error unable to parse.

@SimonF @ich777 thanks for clarification, so from what you two guys said, if correctly understud cause im not good english spoken person, i need only to wait until a new intel_GPU_top release with issue fix.

Thanks for your efforts.

I don‘t think that this can/will be fixed.

Thanks that's solve the issue. I can see the GPU info again.

When upgrading today (both GPU stats + intel top) I got same error (cannot parse).

Modifying timeouts to 2000 - .7 .3 seems to fix it, but GPU load is always 0

I don‘t understand, you see in your screenshot you are indeed using the iGPU (Video & Enhance).

Depending on the tsak that you throw at your iGPU you will see different utilisation levels.

I mean the header. I'm pretty sure before was not showing all the time 0% GPU load

Same reproduction in a tiny pc, with an Intel 8th gen:

Load at top is the same as render load.
