April 5, 20206 yr Not sure about docker but I'm running Jitsi Meet on an Ubuntu VM using this ansible playbook.
April 6, 20206 yr I did an install on an Ubuntu VM myself with ease. Only problem I'm having is I'm not able to make it public with my domain through Nginx Proxy manager.
April 6, 20206 yr +1 would also like the ability to have it configured easily for authentication on rooms.

What i got from https://github.com/jitsi/docker-jitsi-meet/blob/master/docker-compose.yml TL;DR Custom network so all services can communicate using a FQDN jicofo and jvb depends on prosody to run web is just frontend prosody XMPP server jicofo Focus component jvb Video bridge @A75G How would I get this installed?
April 9, 20206 yr When searching for Jitsi in the apps tab, there seems to be docker images available since April 8th
April 9, 20206 yr +1 !! is a good choice make a docker unraid for made it easy to others users all components in one docker for easy install. Edited April 9, 20206 yr by milfer322
April 9, 20206 yr +1 demand unit Would love this to be in the community apps... I just discovered Jitsi today and it works great.
April 10, 20206 yr +1 Demand Unit I would be happy to run an Ubuntu VM for this, as long as we can make it work via an existing nginx reverse proxy. Obviously a single container would be the easiest for most, but I would be happy with either.
April 10, 20206 yr ++++++1 !. This would be so helpful for me during quarantine. Edit: I see there is a broken-out Jitsi components version in the app store. Is there a way to put this in a single docker and then we can also put together an install guide? Edited April 10, 20206 yr by Michael Woodson

I saw the Jitsi packages a day or two ago and am just a little unsure on how to move forward to get a full functioning install. + 1 Demand Credit 😆 If anyone can help with an installation guide.

April 11, 20206 yr +1 I tried to set it up in a VM but failed miserably. I think we need SpaceInvaderOne on this one!
April 12, 20206 yr I got a vm working for jitsi, but I use letsencrypt for dockers, and jitsi uses it also. Letsencrypt only uses ports 80 and 443 for certs. So only way I got it to communicate out side the network with encryption, was to stop ports to my docker. It seems there is a way around this, but a little over my head. It would be nice it have it through a docker to use letsencrypt I have on there.
April 14, 20206 yr I'm guessing that jitsi offer their 4 separate dockers (jicofo, jvb, prosody, web) so that you can scale out a bigger implementation, but we could do with a single docker for a small self-hosted home instance. Please help us @SpaceInvaderOne!
April 15, 20206 yr +1 I was about to start an install in a VM, but would much rather use a single Unraid docker
