My messages were the following: I have a question around the dashboard setup lock. Is this a cookie or something. I move my dashboards around and hit the save button lock. 2 days later they are all back in different areas and it doesn't remember if I have expanded or retracted some window objects. If this is a cookie then wouldn't it be better in the database profile settings etc. If I use a different device it is a total reset from what I would normally expect. Any thoughts on how I can ma

I recently updated to 7.0.1 from 7.0.0, where I had no issue. I have to downgrade as the UI is mostly slow, sluggish or unresposive to mouse interaction. My other server is running 6.12.15 with no issue. Attached diagnostics as per requests when downgrading thor-diagnostics-20250405_1857.zip

I run unraid in proxmox ve(pve),and i use sriov to give the unraid system a graphic card , in the /Tools/SysDevs i can find :[8086:46d3]02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Alder Lake-N [Intel Graphics],and GPU Statistics plugin can also find the card, but it cant get any info, and there is no /dev/dri in system. i found that in reddit below, it saids is kernel versions problem .Is my problem same as this one?Is this problem will be fixed in 7.1?And how long can i use the ne

I have Host access to custom networks: enabled in my Docker settings. Started from 6.9.1 I began to get regular crashes where I need to power off/on my Unraid server. Whenever this happens everything starts up as expected and parity check begins. Docker containers set to autostart will start, but I'm not able to connect between containers. I have to stop all containers, go to Docker settings, disable Docker and re-enable docker to "re-apply" Host access to custom networks-setting.

Since I started using Unraid on Version 6.8.3 I've got a strange issue when copying files directly to the array. CPU load gets to nearly 100% and the UI as well as access to my shares via SMB is extremely slow and buggy. Additionally the access to Web UIs of Docker Containers is not possible. The whole server becomes basically unusable until copying is done. VMs are not affected, though. Checking the top commands shows me a very high wa value with values up to 70-90. After copying ha

Recently updated to 7.0.1 with no issues. After an unexpected power loss, Unraid booted but web UI now reset to port 80 instead of 8008 that it was on. The cache pool seems to have unasigned the drives from it, the array will no longer start cache with - too many wrong or missing devices. I can switch the port back - but i am concerned other configiration might have been reset. And how to i fix the cache array witout loosing all the data on them? tower-diagno

On the Settings/NetworkSettings page, on the line to set the IPv4 default gateway, next to the metric field, it says "optional metric (lowest is preferred, 0 is no default gateway)". I have two configured interfaces, eth0 and eth2. TLDR: If you find that you still have leftover zfs datasets from when you had the ZFS storage Driver, run "zfs unmount dataset" and "umount /mount/location", then try removing the old docker datasets with "zfs destroy -r docker/dataset" Actions taken: Disabled docker in anticipation to switch from zfs storage driver to overlay2. I have a Z490 VISION G motherboard and recently updated Unraid from version 6.12.15 to 7.0.1. After running for some time, the fans in the array stop working. Only the CPU fan continues to operate normally. All fans are controlled through the BIOS. Everything returns to normal after a reboot.

on the dashboard tab all of the processor usage charts are missing as well as the system, gpu, ups, array and cache stats. the dockers and vms and unassigned disks are showing on this tab. on the main tab I can not see anything except the unassigned disk. reverting to 7.0.0 resolves all of these issues. tower-diagnostics-20250311-0021.zip

Gotify on Android will not make any notification sounds at all what so ever with a priority of 3. There is a few ways this could be mitigated. Gotify supports a default priority per app. When this is set, as long as no priority is sent in the POST request, it will use the default. Hi. I have a unexpected behaviour, at least to me, to report. I manage to achieve on powertop cpu package level C10 with disks spun up but only C8 with disks spun down. I’ve already reported that when running Unraid as a guest in Proxmox, I observed in Proxmox htop that unraid vm CPU utilisation goes up when the disks spin down. This time, I tested on bare metal and found the same behaviour. Something happens when the disks spin down that triggers higher CPU usage. These tests were

I have notification set up to send to a specific email address from a gmail address, and use the gmail smtp server. When crontabs send email - they're sent to the "from" gmail address. In addition - they do not use the email subject prefix, so I can't tell which of my 3 email servers actually sent the email to me. qnas-diagnostics-20250311-1008.zip

Everything was fine on 6.12 until I installed the PiHole docker. Pihole worked for a while but would crash every now and then. I had been using macvlan with no problems up until this so I decided to change it to ipvlan so I was prepared for the upgrade as I understood there were some bugs with macvlan. I changed the lan settings and still had some trouble with PiHole. I decided to nix the PiHole container and go with a secondary box to run it. However, I still have issues with Unraid where

A user encountered this on an extreme edge case. No assigned data disks in array or pools, but parity is emulating missing disk1. So there are user shares, but they don't show on the User Shares page. Rolling back fixed the problem. (Version 6.12.10) See here:

So, as you can see disk 9 is not shown at all. Disk 9 is indeed offline (temporarily - in process of replacing) and is indeed shown in "main" tab as offline and with content (i.e. it is emulated). In pre-7.0 (I am in 7.0.1), in dashboard you could clearly see the disk with "emulated" status. Now it doesn't show it at all. I don't know if someone decided to look like that in 7.X but to me looks like a bug and is definitely counter-intuitive. Please fix.

After upgrading to 7.0.1, some of my docker containers were completely bricked, most notably Immich. They would not start and I couldn't even see the logs, when I tried to open the logs the window would pop up and immediately close. When trying to restart the containers I received an error pop up. Unfortunately I don't remember what it said and did not save an image. I do remember it was not very informative though, no code or anything, just a generic error, nothing useful to search online for.

Hi, I upgraded to 7.0.0 and then 7.0.1 and noticed that since then pretty much regularily the list of my devices in the "Array Devices" section on Main page was not showing up. There are quite few similar reports for this issue here and on Reddit but the solution made no direct sense in my case and I believe that issue (while same result) was already fixed (nchan memory increase in Nginx). There was no console error in any browser (Brave, Edge, Safari) and Nginx also was not showing

My server has a read-only share for media files, that's being used by a Plex server installed on a separate Windows O/S PC. Since 6.10 upgrade I am getting the following errors when the Plex scans or plays the media through that share, However it can use (scan/play) these files. I get the same behavior when I try to access these files from other PCs thought this read-only share. All VMs were working in 7.0.0. Then upgraded to 7.0.1 and after reset, every time I click on the VM's tab, the Unraid API locks up and I can no longer access the server from that machine. I can still login from other machines, but again if I click on the VMs tab then the serve locks up from that device too. Dockers work fine, everything else works. Coming from 6.12.13 - everything was working fine, but after upgrading to 6.12.14 I lost network. No hardware changes. My AsRockRack E3C246D4U motherboard has 2 onboard LAN ethernet NICs which are both disabled in BIOS. I have a Mellanox ConnectX-3 EN (MCX311A-XCAT) 10Gbe PCIe NIC installed (single port) which is what unraid should be using for network. After weeks of troubleshooting server instability the majority of crashing issues seemed to stem from bad dynamix plugins, which after upgrading to 7.0.1 I removed and re-installed and nchan errors have decreased dramatically to none. I've rebuilt my nvme cache to use BTRFS which had all my appdata on it, and that seems ok as well now except for the random segfault error on a python or intel iGPU driver.
