I am working with Unraid version 6.12.10 I recently installed Nextcloud with MariaDb and wanted to activate the 2-factor authentication. This is not possible with the following error message: The app cannot be activated because the server becomes unstable. What have I tried? I created another (admin) user and got the same error message. I don't want to run the system without two factor authentication activation. The attempt to create an SSL certificate also failed. C

Current unRAID version: 7.1.2 Previous unRAID version: 7.1.1 Plugins: all up to date Dear Community, After upgrading my home server from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 I'm experiencing serious system instability. Randomly all the services and docker containers just become inaccessible. I can access server's login page but after providing valid credentials none of the WebGUI pages are accessible - Main, Diagnostics, etc. My server is based on Ryzen 5600G and I am aware of challeng

Since version 7.1, passthrough of an NVIDIA card to a Windows or Linux VM no longer works—the server freezes and I am unable to stop or start the VMs, even from the command line. I am forced to perform a manual reboot; if I attempt to reboot from the interface, the process never completes. nas-diagnostics-20250517-0137.zip

Wanted to update, so stage 1 is backing up the flash drive... Pressing [Flash Backup] after a few seconds it fails with: Creation error Insufficient free disk space available There is 8GB of RAM, and it shows 14% used in normal operation. The array disks have no less than 218GB of free space. Machine is an HP Microserver. Diagnistic file attached. Cheers, Howard userver3-diagnostics-20250520-1832.zip

when disabling the option to use TLS for the unraid server, the login screen no longer works on the http port and keeps redirecting to login screen even upon successful login. The issue can be solved by re-enabling TLS or by using a reverse proxy to use https to access the web ui (even though it is forwarded to the http version)

I suspect a memory leak, but can't be certain. System reboots and then runs properly for about 5 days, then crashes hard. I'm downgrading to avoid this issue. Attached are my downgrade logs. tower-diagnostics-20250519_1826.zip

I've detected a lot of instability since 7.1.2 version is installed, in a way that I was not seeing and feeling on my UnRAID system since 7.0 RC versions. Despite I'm facing an issue with a disk on my array, these errors are not related with this particular situation. Probably it's a curiosity, but this disk started to behave like this also after 7.1.2 version install. But I'm aware about some instability. Regarding the NFS behavior and issues, these are the situations I'

When working with docker, I've been having issues for the past month, though not without finding what exactly the trigger is. The first time this happened was when I update all containers, around the 1st of May for me. Forced an unclean reboot after oom-killer was triggered, and the containers loaded up all right after the OS came back up, albeit with high CPU usage, though I can't remember if the memory usage spiked at the time. The second was a few days later, May the 4th for me. Again tri

Was working fine for months. Saw an update was available, read the release notes and nothing jumped out as should be an issue, so I decided to apply it, then restart over night. In the morning it was unreachable. Hard reboot and it allowed me to log in. I turned off VM's and it continued to finish parity check fine. Dockers seemed to be working okay but I didn't check too deep. Tried to start my Home Assistant VM and it went unresponsive immediately. Left it for over 4 hours and stil

Recently updated to 7.1.1 and tried to remove an empty directory `plexcache` on UI. This directory had been used by plex but I had deleted the plex docker, and removed from SMB share list before I tried to remove it. Have clicked DELETE button and nothing changed. And then I tried to stop the array, re-spin up the array, and to remove, the bug is still. Finally I tried to remove this directory in command prompt (found that this directory only

Running Unraid 7.0.1 I have been having parity check crashes around the 70% or higher mark after a couple of days. The system otherwise seems stable, and the array functions normally except during parity operations. Once the bug / fault triggers unraid parity check slows down from 100MB/s to a few KB/s but I presume this is because the unraidd thread has crashed or had a panic. I completed a memtest last night with no issues. I do run the new ZFS plugin across 3 NVME cac

UnRAID v7.1.2 - Using docker container with custom bridge br0 (ipvlan driver)... I have static IPv6 addresses... everything configured correctly. However, while I set the IPv4 and global IPv6 address (which works correctly), the container still ALSO adds a dynamic global IPv6 based on my /64 subnet. I don't need that additional address. The IPv6 local and static global are there (as they should)... but it also has this dynamic global. And it defaults to it when communicating to the gatew

When adding a share to a VM in Unraid using the UI options of source and tag, the bus name changes unexpectedly without notice. When the bus is renamed the VM loses ethernet connection. This issue is not clearly documented and leads to confusion when setting up the VM. Ensuring that the bus name remains consistent would greatly improve the user experience when using the share feature while creating the VM. There is a very large thread here that goes through this but this

Hey folks, after upgrading to 7.1.1 i'm not able ti install new vms in Unraid. I'd like to install Ubuntu 24.04 server but the installation process stops when the installer tries to obtain updates (step installing missing packages). I suspect that this is an error with the network stack? Anyone else with this problem? Please let me know if any logs or something else is needed. Thanks mike gothamcity-diagnostics-20250511-1953.zip

Yesterday I decided to make an upgrade from 7.01 to the 7.12 My server have been running without any problems since I installed 7.01 but with 7.12 everything went to...... I updated plugins before upgraded, made backups and so on. Once installed all containers dependent on the Nvidia driver Plugin were broken. I spent hours trying to resolve this but nothing seemed to work OK. I tried to blacklist the The Nouveau driver since I found that there might be conflicts but no luck.

1) install homarr as homepage 2) add tile with url (http://unraidip/Main) 3) click it Expected behaviour: main page loads Actual behaviour: login page loads This worked fine in all versions 6.x.x and just broke after updating to version 7.x.x I would assume that it has to do with the referrer policy. Homarr sets that to "no-referrer" and unraid then returns a 302 moved temporarily and redirects to login

Details: Unraid version: 7.1.2 (stable) Previous version: 7.0.1 Plugins: All up to date prior to upgrade Issue: After upgrading to Unraid 7.1.2, my server became completely unusable. It would freeze shortly after boot, become unreachable via both ping and web UI, and then reboot. I received Telegram notifications from various monitoring bots indicating the server was coming back online, but no crash or error messages prior to that. Each time it came ba

Hello all, I have an NVME SMB share on unRaid that I use for my cloud, record CS2 games and whatever else I need it for. After the previous 2 updates I could NOT get the share to work, kept giving me an error that I didn't have permissions. Fixing it the first time took hours, I went under main>unassigned devices section>unassigned devices settings>and under SMB settings it was changed to 'no access' under my smb share info. Changing that back to read/write fixed the problem. Just FYI i

Using Unraid 7.1.2, I am trying to create an NFS share for my proxmox cluster to use for backups, images, etc. When using the UI to create the NFS share, I set the share to Export: Yes and Security: Private. I add the following into the Rule field: 10.0.0.1(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check) 10.0.0.2(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check) 10.0.0.3(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check) The UI appears to remove the spaces between the host
