unRAID version in use: 6.12.11 I found this issue where my ZFS Pool used as Primary storage does not have its free space combined with my unRAID disk array which is set as Secondary storage. This bug manifests in the following locations: The SHARED tab of unRAID (Free space shows Secondary storage only, omits Primary storage) Clients accessing the share via SMB (Both free space and total capacity of the share omits Primary storage) Clients accessing the share vi

Hi, so i did some support threads here descripting my crashes... we never had any clue why... because there are no usefull logs. (I have enabled "Mirror syslog to flash: Yes Copy syslog to flash on shutdown: Yes") But the latest lines are always complete useless. Is it possible to make unraid be more debug? Like so it logges more things? We can never fix this issue without any good hints what the problems are. This crash is probably the first in some weeks,

Ouch, The dreaded death of the nginx process is back in .12.11 The gui has started to die on me each day since .12.11 This was fixed a year ago or so, but it seems to be back. /etc/rc.d/rc.nginx restart /etc/rc.d/rc.nginx reload Fixes it temporarily I've had a stable system for months, until the upgrade, which then has has situations like these: Syslog : Jul 21 10:30:15 Tower nginx: 2024/07/21 10:30:15 [error] 22241#22241: *561672 nchan: e

Hi uNraid team, After I updated my unraid from 6.12.10 to 6.12.11 I have started having usb audio device stability issue inside windows VM. I have a VM that I use for a streaming radio station that has worked fine for years and now since the update, the audio device randomly becomes unstable and causes the Radio station software to stop playing audio. Error log for software lists audio device error. Steps that I have taken: 1) Build new VM from scratch. 2) Replace

Ran the subject upgrade from 6.12.10 this morning immediately after making a backup of the flash drive to other machine. No issues reported from the update process, but neither VM's nor Dockers ran afterwards. Both tabs indicated "service failed to start". After extinguishing hair fire, was briefly able to get one VM working again, but things deteriorated thereafter. Copied from backup back to flash & rebooted back to 6.12.10. Things got worse again. Mysql container will not

hi guys, i am new to unraid. i am running 6.12.10 on a legacy basic licence. A month ago i setup my unraid server with 2x18 TB drives, and one cache SSD. today i wanted to add another 2x12 TB drives. No parity so far, all drives are external storage via an USB3 icybox enclosure. Haven't had an issue so far. As for migration, i setup 2 SMB shares and mounted those. nothing special. now, when i tried to add both 2x12 TB at once, the main dashboard would say "too

After the upgrade to 6.12.11 I faced a problem that Unraid reboots by itself multiple times after about an hour period. No system errors or whatever shown. I faced it either when it's idle, running parity check, or by e.g. whatching a movie over smb. I will roll back to previous version 6.12.10 for now. koaly-tower-diagnostics-20240728_1600.zip

Tried fstab mount which was working on 6.12.10 and also tried manual mounting nfs shares from unraid. Neither method works. #FSTAB 192.168.0.9:/mnt/user/mcbride /home/shaun/server nfs defaults 0 0 #MANUAL sudo mount -v -t nfs tower.local.lan:/mnt/user/server ./server mount.nfs: timeout set for Mon Jul 22 12:03:41 2024 mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'vers=4.2,addr=192.168.0.9,clientaddr=192.168.0.188' Manually trying to mount just hangs until timeout is reached on bot

A few hours after updating the server was no longer accessible, by http and local network yet some dockers like plex were still accessible. By restarting the computer everything works again but I'm afraid the problem will return quickly Do you have an idea? I checked in the dockers options it is clearly marked ipvlan nas-nunurs-diagnostics-20240722-2157.zip

The second image on the homepage of https://unraid.net shows a "random" screenshot of the unraid dashboard and disk setup, but it looks like the drive capacities have been messed with manually for the screenshot and the array setup makes no sense any more. Parity drive is shown as 8TB when there are two 12TB also in the array - parity should be at least as large as the largest disk, right? Also the 2nd disk description says 4TB but the size columns shows 12TB. The intention was probably to

At extreme CPU usage, all graphs just stop working and disks totally disappear when the server is at extremely high CPU usage for a prolonged period. I am not viewing my dashboard from an external web URL but internal one (192.168.1.50) Started some transcoding jobs after installing a new container and the disks and graphs disappeared as the jobs increased. Stopping them brings everything back. Never seen this happen before. Before After

The hard disk keeps dropping out, and it's all the disks at the same time. Sometimes it can't be mounted, and sometimes it's normal again. And through SSH, it's always possible to access the hard disk as usual. What's going on with this? ethannas-diagnostics-20240715-2039.zip

Upgraded from 6.11.5 to 6.12.10 and files have started to be created on random disks than what I was used to before with same settings. I have some folders in the specific drives and now copying files splits them even when the setting is off as before.

Hello, i was having a problem with scheduled trim. It seems that when you run the ssd_trim script manually in a terminal, or by clicking the "trim now" button in the scheduler page, the script would run as expected, but when the script was run on a cron schedule, it would bypass the check to see if the disk was a "spinning disk" and trim ALL drives. With the help of members in the general support section, it was determined the initial check in the script, checks to see if the script is

There seems to be a issue on 6.12.10 when you create a Q35-7.2 VM and assigning a GPU to it. If you remove the GPU afterwards and change it to a virtual Display, the machine no longer works. This is also vice versa! The VM will not boot at all. After some testing I can conclude this is not always happening. Sometimes there is nothing wrong, and otherwise the VM won't boot. The only way to fix this is to remove the whole VM (or have backups) and create everything again. I

How to reproduce: Have docker container using a wireguard network interface, in my case wg1. Stop all docker containers using wg1. Delete wg1 from VPN settings. Create/import new wg1. Attempt to restart docker container. It gives an error that the container doesn't exist. You can fix this broken state by editing the container template (any superficial change such as name) and hitting save. My VPN provider requires generating a n
