1. Create a new VM with debian nocloud qcow2 works fine. 2. Changing the vDisk using FROM VIEW to use another file or the same file but renamed. 3. The configuration changed a lot, not just the vDisk file name, resulting a none working VM. Restart VM always going to UEFI interactive shell.

Unraid 6.12.13 (see note at bottom) I just removed a slower hard drive from my array (without replacing it) and had to rebuild parity. The parity SYNC notifications included the duration and speed statistics from the previous parity CHECK, not the parity SYNC that just completed. The attached screenshots are probably clearer, but I'll describe here in case of attachment issues: - Parity sync completed 2024-12-11. I received notifications via e

Greetings. This issue was previously reported: And subsequently fixed in 6.11.1: However it's back now in 6.12.4. Looking closely at /etc/rc.d/rc.docker, there are two issues: Issue #1 - line 296: if [[ -n $MY_NETWORK && $MY_NETWORK != $MY_NETWORK ]]; then - The point of the if-statement is to skip processing MY_NETWORK from the inner loop if it is the same as MY_NETWORK from the outer

I upgraded my homeserver to unraid 6.12.13 last saturday. Later I noticed that my speedtest container (running to check load problems with my isp) has significant download problems: most of the time the tests only get 5-10% of the possible download rate. The upload speed is not affected. Because I updated the speedtest container to the latest version (v0.21.2-ls43) on the same day, I first suspected the app and investigated it, but without an outcome (tweaking/simplification of setti

Hello, For context I receive multiple disks and started pre clearing them while the array was down. After starting the array, I receive a prompt for updating the unassigned plugin. I do not know if if that could or would cause issue but it's probably not optimal, so it might be a good idea to hide that prompt while a pre clear is running. As pre clear can now very easly take a week to perform, it can be forgotten that you're performing one and update the plugin while it's being ran. Prompte

Trying to set up the initial array on a new server; however, the share setting page seems to be missing some rows that are associated with the specific share settings. I have attached an image for review.

Saw a similar post about a realtek ethernet controller having issues after upgrade. I have a RTL8111H and did not have the plugin driver installed before upgrading. I will try installing the plug in when I get a chance and give it another try. After rolling back to 6.12.13 the issue went away. I was able to get a debug and attached is a screenshot of the ping rates I was getting before the controller stopped responding. backup-server-diagnostics-20241203_1033.zip

Old bug, but its never been addressed. If a container doesn't have a port exposed in its dockerfile, the Unraid Docker page isn't able to determine its IP address. This is especially problematic for containers using custom networks that don't need ports exposed to function. Adding a mapped port in the unraid template does not make the ip address appear either. Docker itself has no problem returning the addresses missing when querying docker docker inspect -f '{{ra

After the 6.12.14 update, an error showed up on the shares list with cache being there......it said the shares were invalid despite all the shares being setup correctly and behaving correctly. Adding a description or editing and applying correct settings again fixed it. Pic below in case I explained it badly Should be noted that I don't have any pools named cache, and all three shares were array only with no secondary storage added

Last week I upgraded from 6.12.13 to 6.12.14 and immediately began seeing instability issues. I run headless and at first start-up, the system was accessible and seemed ok. After a while, the system seemed to lose connections and eventually became unreachable for even a ping. I physically rebooted it a couple of times and each time it lost connection faster. I moved the PC to set it up with a monitor and found that after starting up, it lost eth0 altogether but the system was otherwise run

I have an immich instance having a nfs mount to an unraid share. When I stop the array while there is open files through NFS, it makes unraid stuck, not able to stop the array, unable to change any other settings in unraid, and the nfs clients are unable to unmount, probably because the nfs server or the exports are down before the array is stopped. It would be great to prevent the array to be stopped if any file is locked, to not block all the rest. I don't know h

Hi guys, my unraid server has been running 24/7 for a few months before suddenly docker services start to fail and the docker daemon being unavailable. I tried logging in to the WebUI, but that was completely frozen. I sadly wasn't able to copy diagnostics, since ssh was also unavailable. Using the IPMI I managed to get the following screenshot while initiating an acpi shutdown. The server was completely unresponsive for a few minutes until it finally shut down. Upon restart, a parity che

in 6.12.14 the confirmation screen that pops up when you click erase pool from the main page, clicking pool name, clicking erase pool shows like this rather than the "poolsname" being shown to be typed like it should. tried with both the name cache and the name datadrive for my pools name and same thing showed up with of course the difference being the part in quotes being cache and datadrive repectfully.

Upgraded to 6.12.4, and after <12 hours each time, unRaid crashes. It seems highly correlated to Resilio usage. Any tips? Seems like the problems below aren't that correlated to each other. Attaching syslog snippets: Fail 1: Fail 2: Fail 3: Other noticeable problems:

Writing from a Windows 11 PC with all the latest updates installed to a smb share results in unusable smb write speed of kbs. I have tried with windows explorer that takes minutes just to calculate and other copy apps. Tried writing to other shares and removing any smb extras. Issue was fixed as soon as i downgraded to 6.12.11. I didn't test the smb write performance using other OS's. Hopefully other Windows users can replicate the issue.

Hi everyone, I´m new here and tried to install and configure my first Unraid Server. Unfortunately the boot process always stops at the same point, while starting in the newest version 6.12.8 from the Unraid webiste: "amdgpu 0000:0e:00.0: [drm:jpeg_v4_0_early_init [amdgpu]] JPEG decode is enable in VM mode" My Configuration: ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 AMD Ryzen 5 8500G 32GB G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5-7600 and for the start: 2TB Lexar NM790 M.2 I h

I tried to update from 6.12.4 to current 6.12.13 but more than half my drives were not recognized after the update. I did walk the updates individually to 6.12.11 successfully and that is what I am currently running. However, I still can't run 6.12.13 without getting the drive issue. I posted about it on the forums and one of the moderators reviewed my logs and said "HBA is failing to initialize, likely related to the newer kernel, try a different PCIe slot if available." but I don't have anymor

I had a an unraid server that was running with no issues. I changed the subnet of my network (on my router) from 192.168.1.0 -> 192.168.37.0. Unraid itself had no issues, it was able to pick up the new settings. For my docker containers, I restarted the docker service and that came back with no issues either. I never restarted the entire server as everything seemed to be working until I tried to deploy a pi-hole docker. Pihole requires br0 so that it gets it's own up address, but in the docke

My Unraid server frequently becomes unresponsive, with the hardware fans continuing to run loudly even though access to the Unraid WebUI and Docker services is lost. Additionally, active SSH connections are disrupted, preventing any further login attempts. I have redirected the Unraid syslog to the array appdata, yet each time, I fail to identify any significant information within. On this occasion, the server became unresponsive at 5:57 AM, and I proceeded to reboot it at 8:50 AM:

In order to improve performance between some of my servers and Unraid I setup the server vlan in unraid and assigned Unraid a static IP on the vlan subnet. While the primary interface is on a different subnet. So now my main ethernet interface is reachable in ip: 10.0.0.20 And I have a vlan setup with ip: 10.10.10.100 as well Mounting a share using 10.0.0.20 goes fine however trying to mount the same share on the same machine using 10.10.10.100 times out.
