trurl, it seems that the appimage is for the linux installer, not Windows, not having an .exe seems fine if that's the goal. As for the rest of the question, I cannot answer. The "dirty" part seems odd, but I don't know linux that well.

I get your point from a communication point of view. But at the same time, that means that systems are kept vulnerable for longer than necessary. It would be better to address the communication point via, well, communication. 😁 A post with the reasoning beyond going for branch A rather than branch B would go a long way for most people. Sure, some users will always complain that " you should have prioritized the other branch because XYZ" but delaying is probably not a great solution overall.

I guess that Limetech and 45HomeLab will conclude a first batch of X15 server and assess if other versions could be successful. There are probably some investments to launch such things and in the current economy, especially regarding computer parts, I would think that the companies will be cautious. But hey, what do I know ! 😁 (and also, it probably not available in Europe so ... 😢)

I am in the market for a new HBA and was looking at 16i version. How are the 9305 chips handling SATA SSDs ? I seem to remember that older HBA controllers had issues. Is this generation OK ?
