@kdwg Über eine SUV habe ich oft nachgedacht. So eine kleine APC zum sauber Runterfahren würde ja schon reichen. Aber ich lese immer wieder Berichte von Käufern, dass die Dinger stinken und da mein Server in der Wohnung steht, schreckt mich das sehr ab. Ich nutze Powertop Autotune. OOM sagt mir gar gerade nichts.

Harter Neustart ohne Einwirkung von mir. Ich bin abends Heim gekommen und das Array war offline. Bei mir ist unRAID so eingestellt, dass das Array nicht automatisch gestartet wird beim Start. Bei mir ist es so eingestellt, dass bei Trennung von Strom der Server aus bleibt und manuell wieder gestartet werden muss. Hier bin ich aber leider "nur" zu 80% sicher, dass es so eingestellt ist. Ich konnte noch nicht naschauen, weil die Parityprüfung noch lief und ingesamt 24 Stunden braucht. Wenn die fertig ist, schaue ich nochmal. Habe den Nachbarn gefragt. Ihm ist kein Stromausfall aufgefallen. Auch die Uhren z. B. waren alle noch OK. Ich nutze keine USV.

Hello, today when I tryed to access SMB on my unRAID server I have found out that the array was offline but the server running. This happened to me before. One day after I installed the 6.12.3 update. I didn't pay much attention and blamed it on a storm we had that night. The second time was today, after the server had an uptime of about 8 or 9 days. I'm not saying that 6.12.3 is the issue, it was just the first time this happened. I am not 100% sure but if I remember correctly my ASUS B550-I mainboard is configured to stay turned off after power loss. So if this would be a PSU issue and the PSU fails and the power is gone, I believe it should stay off, right? There are a couple of things I have changed in the near past, besides updating to 6.12.3. I changed my cache pool to use ZFS and I also changed the frequency scaling to use AMD pstates. I have attached diagnostics, but I am afraid that they won't be of much help because I think the most interesting parts were removed after the restart. But maybe somebody would still find a clue - I hope. Not sure what to do next. It's not easy just to start replacing hardware, everything became so expensive. A simple PSU would cost me already 100€ or more. One more question: what would be the best way to enable persistent logging? Do I have to check daily and make sure that my USB drive with unRAID on it won't be completely full? Nevermind this. I will setup a Raspberry Pi as syslog server. Hat jemand von euch schonmal Probleme bekommen bei der Nutzung von amd_pstate? In den letzten 2 Wochen habe ich bereits zwei unsaubere Neustarts gehabt und musste jedes mal wieder Parity Prüfen. Ich kann Hardware nicht ausschließen, möchte aber nicht sofort losrennen und neue - und teure - Hardware kaufen gehen. Den ersten Neustart hatte ich nach update auf 6.12.3 und den zweiten nachdem der Server 8 Tage aktiv war. Beide male war aber der Server wieder am laufen aber das Array Offline. Wenn ein Hardwaredefekt vorliegt, z. B. Netzteil, würde der Rechner nach einem Fehler nicht aus bleiben?

Hello, I'm having trouble understanding the Auto Fan Setup and was hoping somebody can clarify. The setup menu shows me three PWM controler. Are these my fans header on the mainboard that were detected by the plugin? But when I switch between the three entries, the path to the PWM fan stays exactly the same for each contoller. /sys/devices/platform/nct6775.656/hwmon/hwmon3/fan1_input /sys/devices/platform/nct6775.656/hwmon/hwmon3/fan1_input /sys/devices/platform/nct6775.656/hwmon/hwmon3/fan1_input The hwmon3 directory contains other fan*_input files though.

At least in my case I think it was. My unRAID Server now has a uptime of 6 days and no type of error occured since that time.

I can't tell really. Unless it started to fail all of a sudden. It is a Corsair SF450, had it since my first day using unRAID and up until yesterday I had zero problems. Not with the PSU and also not with any other hardware component I am using. Yesterday at the time the server rebooted there was a storm outside with thunder and lightning. But there was no power outage. At the same time I was watching TV and no other device seemed to have problems. Anyway, for now it is running again. Should I happen again I will enable persistent logging and if something points to the PSU I will replace it.

Updated from 6.12.2 to 6.12.3 without any problems. Everything was running. This morning I accessed the Web GUI to find my array stopped. The log file looks like my system rebooted itself yesterday at about 8 pm. I thought I read something like this for 6.12.x version but never had the problem but never read saw a solution for this. Edit: I just saw that it actually is doing a parity check. I only didn't see it right away because of the new notification thing in the Web GUI. Great. This will take another 24 hours. Pretty sure it was no power outage. I was at home at the time where unraid started again (the time in the current log file)

Same here. Just updated to the latest version of the container but the integrity errors are still present. You still want the logfiles you mentioned in the previous page?

After my last upgrade to Nextcloud 27.0.0 I get a lot of integrity errors. I thought this may be a docker issue since the upgrade went fine, without errors and currently everything seems to be working fine also. Today I got an update of the docker container but the issue wasn't fixed so maybe it is actually an issue with my installation. The documentation says I should upload each file that is causing the ingegriy error from the matching version installation. But in my case these are quite many files I would have to manually upload. Sorry if this was asked before but should I be worried about this or investigate further? Note: only my 2 NVMe drives (each 512 GB) mirrored are using ZFS. Currently the cache is at 3% utilization only.

Same here. I also have the underscore issue. It's annoying but I don't need it too often and when I need it I start Edge since I can't get it off Windows 11 anyway.

By default (after first installation) the plugin has set these two paths: /mnt/user/appdata /mnt/cache/appdata I removed the second one because they point to the same directory. But one through the unRAID filesystem layer (I forgot the name) I left /mnt/user/appdata as this is the path where all docker container are stored - or is that wrong? I added the jellyfin-conf directory to as this is not a docker container directory but a directory created by jellyfin docker. It contains all configuration. I wonder why it only works for two docker container directories. Every other directory is in the same location. I attached a debug log. Thank you. ab.debug.log Edit: I may have found my problem. For some docker container I changed data dir (where possible) from /mnt/user/appdata/ to /mnt/cache/appdata as they are always on the cache drive and this results in better performance. I have not changed the configuration back yet. But my question would be: Is it ok to leave the source configuration (as it was in the beginning) to: /mnt/user/appdata /mnt/cache/appdata Does it not cause issues if they point to actually the same location?

Upgraded from 6.11.5 to 6.12 without issues. One small inconvenience though. I'm using Firefox. When opening the console the bottom part of the text is cut off on each line as it seems. Most importantly I don't see my underscores. Example Firefox: While on Edge is looks fine:

Are there advantages when using single drives in a parity array using zfs compared to xfs? Only thing I keep hearing is built-in compression.

Ist bei mir auch so beim Nextcloud Container. Beim Jellyfin Container kommt jedoch nur die Melung, dass die angegebene Adresse unbekannt ist.

There is plenty of free RAM left on my system. Currently the dashboard shows me a usage of 29%. I'm not sure if my expectations are wrong as how cache directories is working. But, as I said, in the past I had the feeling that it is working as I expect it. Above are my settings for the plugin. While all drives are spun down I navigate to any directory on any share. After a depth of 2 to 3 directories I can see that the drive is spinning up. After 20 minutes the drive is spun down again and I wait say another 10 minutes and go to the exact same location and at the drive is spun up again. I though I've read somewhere that while the drive is spun up, I navigate through directories and while I navigate these paths/files are added to the cache. So file locatoins that I never opened are not added to the cache unless I go there. Is that wrong?

Could it be that Cache Directories Plugin was changed recently such that shares that are not explicitly in the include list, will not be cached? I had the feeling that caching wasn't working today as the drive kept spinning up. After I added all ashres in the include list it seemed to work again. Before that I only had a few shares in the exlude list and though that caching is working for any other share.

Die Einträge aus dem Rebindschutz sind wieder draußen, da diese keinerlei Auswirkung hatten. Aktuell nutze ich also kein Rebind-Schutz und IPv4 und alles funktioniert. Erst wenn IPv6 aktiv ist meckert die Fritzbox. Aber auch dann bringen die Einträge im Rebind-Schutz keine Besserung.
