If you really suspect wings as the Integral part, you can set "--dns" in the extra parameters of wings unraid template, like --dns 192.168.2.10
-
[Support] Mainfrezzer - Docker Repo
Wings doesn't do the pull directly, it spawns a install routine container, you can change the DNS servers for the container deployed by the wing in the config.yml

With the preaquatica branch it's fine, as it used to be. The updated stuff works fine as long as you have standalone servers. Clusters are absolutely borked and obviously Crossplay too. I just rolled back all of my servers to the preaquatica stuff and called it done. I haven't opened a pr for it but I want to let you know in case you plan on updating a3c for 360.1+. the version file is no longer and the 11111111 mod doesn't exist anymore

Since im still stuck updating the game on windows (over 1 hour already) im a bit limited to check everything at the moment. They at least acknowledged that they broke stuff^^ (although theres more broken than just mods) But from what ive seen so far its more than likely that they dropped the linux support completely since the last "working" linux version already had huge memory leak issues. New Client versions also cant join any old server, so if you use the preaquatica branch they pushed, you need to downgrade your clients as well.(who knows how that works with epic) As for a possible "quick and personal solution", if you dont run mods You could get your servers up and running with the new patch if you swap to my container image for the moment (ghcr.io/mainfrezzer/ase-docker:latest), it runs the windows binaries instead of linux. Things to note there: it needs "--ulimit nofile=2048:65530" in extra parameters to run Also, any link you might have placed in the unraid template probably doesnt work because of weird character escaping. If you have a banlist, dynamicconfig or sorts like that, declare them in the appropriate .ini config file (also dont forget to copy the LinuxConfig files to the WindowsConfig folder) As for mods not working, nothing that we can do apart from rolling the servers back to preaquatica Edit: Finally the client updated and my god, they just reset every setting, how i hate wildcard Edit2: Got around to publish the container on github. Links have been changed Edit3: Issues found so far, the game "thinks" you dont own specific dlc, like thecenter. The gameserver rules have changed apparently. Specific dinos cannot be transfered anymore. CrystalWyverns didnt deploy anymore. Tekstrider vanished off Aberration. Edit4: theres a handy little list apparently Current Known Issues The release of the new DLC along with the related game updated brought an important list of known and so far unresolved issues: Characters being wiped at server transfer in a cluster. Almost all Steam Workshop mods are not compatible. Genesis Season Pass content fails to deploy and load outside Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 maps, resulting on deleted content on previous saves. The same can happen by content of other maps as well. Creature affected will suffer also of cryopod "raptorization" making them useless. Clients fail to launch Crystal Isles, resulting in a crash at map loading. Clients fail to start The Center, porting the player back to main menu without any error log. Multiple assets has been removed by the core game files related to events (including those being still previously working like WinterWonderland), multiple skins (including those related to ARK: The Animated Series), multiple creature assets like animations and sounds, Vivox client, PGARK (procedural generated maps), some Shader Model 4 assets for legacy hardware. Crossplay with Epic Game Store is no more.

[Plugin] File Activity – See What’s Keeping Your Unraid Disks Busy
Today was the monthly mover day and I noticed 2 issues. It seems like the filter has a problem with anything other than the american way of date/time usage. Every entry is hidden by filters until I clear the date. The update of the feed also seems somewhat broken. It displays items as a list up to a certain point and then stops until I clear the list, then it populates it again with entries up to a certain point and stops, rinse and repeat.

something is not loading correctly. please repull the image and run a validation for the gamefiles. Your commandline for the server, i.e, the game parameters and the extra ones would be handy to troubleshoot if it does still persist

Which container is the problem child? I can only assume its pelican. Need a bit more info where and when you see the issue, as that container is certainly build it 8.4

Control access to programs
dont let them in your network. Youre asking the equivalent of preventing people in your apartment/house of using the light switches. You could prevent them with encasing every light switch in a metal box (you can use iptables to achieve what you want/ also in combination with a reverse proxy that has some basic auth for example). Although its just easier not let them in your network to begin with

File Activity Plugin - How can I figure out what keeps spinning up my disks?
the thing isnt about restoring the original guid, its that the hash is always static(unless your usb stick dies). You can see which hash has which of your plugins installed and subsequently you have the ability to track that particular hash and their interactions with your plugins. Not saying that youre doing it, its just a feasible possibilty and thats where my nitpick about being anonymous comes from as its lacking any kind of entropy.

File Activity Plugin - How can I figure out what keeps spinning up my disks?
A cookie isnt a person either and neither do you have to use the site the banners are on too, yet theyre still there ;) Its correct that data collection doesnt need constent, but those are only those that are technically required to make the page/work function (you actually dont need cookies at all but i digress) As i said before, i dont care about it. I just wanted to mention it, as that one is a specific case. I dont think it will, who knows. At some point we will know i guess. to get back to the topic of this whole thread. that was my only "complaint" i had with this specific plugin.( Im aware that this wasnt EDACertons doing. And to make absolutely clear, i dont hate or dislike him in any shape or form, neither do i have an issue with him having it in plugins in general. ) That has been resolved now, with the original being back up.

File Activity Plugin - How can I figure out what keeps spinning up my disks?
Again, the issue is still not the stupid flash drive guid. The issue with the EU is, that LT has slapped their LT-Official on the Tailscail plugin that sends data to a 3rd party by default without aquiring conscent prior to it. I dont need to mention the horrendous cookie banners do i? (Although to incorportate the constant guid focus of everyone here, its actually a more horrible identifier than the random cookie id you get)

File Activity Plugin - How can I figure out what keeps spinning up my disks?
youre mixing things here. My nitpick was about the anonymous part. using an install id instead of something that only changes when you swap your usb. Also that hash just a checksum. Could have just used md5. Doesnt matter that in the end, you can see which server has which plugins of yours installed. Thats my personal nitpick with it The EU part is separate and i honestly dont care since i dont have to deal with it, neither does EDACerton. LT has.
-
File Activity Plugin - How can I figure out what keeps spinning up my disks?
There isnt a larger issue. The issue at hand was that its a dickmove to display version from EDACerton as update instead of a new plugin and then enable tracking by default. thats all. The nitpick with the guid is that you can tie all plugins tied to that person/usb. I personally dont care for the tailscaile one, although its worth noting that that one is something LT has to deal with at some point since its their "official" plugin and they do buisness within the EU. (Not to mention that the "offical" plugin is sending data to 3rd parties")

File Activity Plugin - How can I figure out what keeps spinning up my disks?
Its certainly not pleasant to find out after getting bugged by ca that theres an updated version, that by default, it phones home. Also, a nit pick from what i can see using just the hash of the guid is certainly not anonymous. Its static. Using entropy upon install to set an identifier in the config to do your daily tracking would have sufficed. It depends at what time you happen to install it^^

unRAID Server crashes, can't tell why
just fill the remote syslog server field with the ip of your unraid server, that will send the logs to itself. Edit: 127.0.0.1 should work too, but i have not checked it so i cant say with 100% certainty. Would be better as you do not need a connection for it

No setting in scheduler for Parity Checks
You dont have a parity drive. Edit: In case it wasnt obvious, you need parity to check the parity. I do absolutely have no clue why you perform regular read-checks, as its pointless as there is nothing to check against and since when your drive fails, its gone and that will happen as soon as you try to read anything from the disk at any point. Get a single parity drive at least to have some sort of protection against drive failure
