  1. Not able to see smart attributes. I can start the array fine and everything seems normal other than that. This is my backup server my main one doesn't have this problem. diagnostics attached. tower2-diagnostics-20210315-0926.zip
  2. So I upgraded to 2.0.3 and everything was going OK and I could download for like a day and now its stopped working. The torrents act like they want to start but they never do. I can see the swarms and everything but I cant ever connect to them. There are no errors in my log file so i'm kind of at a loss at what to do. Anyone have any ideas on what to do about this it would be great. I havent tried uninstalling/reinstalling yet. EDIT: This was a permissions problem since I upgraded my cache pool to raid 1. I nuked the docker and started over, nothings wrong with v203...
  3. Thanks johnnie. I look in the unraid log and its showing critical medium error I've got a replacement 10tb drive in route from newegg just to be safe.
  4. I did a parity check yesterday and disk 2 had a bunch of read errors. It passed a short smart test. Im doing a long smart test now. What do you guys think is the drive really dead? tower-diagnostics-20190315-0640.zip
  5. Drawing just over 200w with all drives spun up at idle. I don't really worry too much about power though. I usually never spin my drives down.
  6. I'm running almost the same motherboard. X10SLH-F. This is one of the few haswell E3 boards that have 3 pcie slots.
  7. I've been on PIA for about 3 years. It's been fine. Do yourself a favor if you do any torrenting and check out binhex delugevpn docker.
  8. Thanks johnnie.black. I'm glad the drive is still good. Be nice if it lasted a good while longer.,
  9. I think WD drives should be reading 0 under raw value in ideal conditions but I will run with it till it starts failing smart tests. Thank you for your time Frank.
  10. hmmm, all my other 4TB reds are showing 0 for raw read error rate. This one is showing 22. Yeah about the age of the drive, I wasn't too worried about it. I just said that to let people know that it was out of warranty anyway so I can't send it in for RMA.
  11. This WD red 4tb has almost 4 years power on hours so it's already out of warranty. It's a low raw read error rate of 22 but the rest of the smart report looks good. I don't think it's changed in awhile. Just wondering if I should replace it. My first instincts is to buy a replacement drive just to have on hand but then let this 4TB drive run for a while longer in my server but watch it closely. smart report attached WDC_WD40EFRX-68WT0N0_WD-WCC4EFAKRE43-20181128-0634.txt
  12. Not a big fan of all the orange either but I can deal with it. I’m running 4K and 1440p monitors so the larger fonts are great.
  13. 6.6.3 was very erratic for me when copying files from my ssd cache to my main array. I ended up rolling back to 6.6.2 and everything is fine again. I'm running a xeon e3 haswell cpu so plenty of power there. Anyway I tested 6.6.3 for quite a few days and it just wasn't good for me.
  14. Enterprise drives are claimed to have better vibration resistance, and in a 36 bay server it might make a difference, or it might not... If it were me I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just buy the flavor you like that you think will be reliable. Wd reds are good drives and should work fine. I've got about 10 of them in my server and they've been flawless for me so far.
