I removed appdata from scanned directories and no longer have 100% cpu spikes. Wish i had known that a long time ago, hopefully my server will be more responsive without the spikes.

I guess its good that its 12 errors at almost 10%, so instead of 5901 at 100% on last check. Is it expected to have to more than 1 more parity check to get back to zero if everything is ok?

just shows under sync errors correct, all zeros in the errors column.

I started memtest, was running fine for a while, but then decided to just swap out the box completely. - still using the same 16 bay expansion as before that is connected to the box through the same lsi 9207-8e and cable. No other parts are the same. The old box was an xps 8700 with 4770 intel cpu/8gb ram. - new one is same specs with 16gb of different ram. Running another parity check now, should be done in about 27 or so hours.

I will run memtest when the parity check completes in about 10 hours. I can't say for certain that i have on this box, i did one in april prior to installing UPS's on both of my unraid servers. Before that i had a lot more problems with my servers. Installing UPS's helped a lot. We have quite a lot of outages here, 10 to 20 a year. At that point (and you had had helped me in that thread) i had about 300 errors on each servers after a few unclean shutdowns due to power outages/brownouts. This box in question has been running for about 60 days without a reboot, there have been a few brownouts/outages during that time frame, but long enough to tell unraid/ups to shut down the machine (less than 30 seconds). "you won't be able to reliably rebuild it if parity isn't completely correct." that means it will rebuild unreliable data? - I am currently at 3542 sync errors with about 33% left to go on parity check. I assume that means that i have some questionable data even once parity checks get back to no errors? If in the future i see any sync errors, just do another parity check? even if its 1 or 2?

Is there a way to tell which drives have the sync errors (to determine if all on one drive)? Last month i had 660 sync errors, I'm on 1780 so far, 1/3 through this parity check. I have a udma crc error count 1 that intermittantly shows up on the cache drive - could this be causing it? I need to change the cache drive. I have clock unsyncronized errors in my log - assume that means i need to change cmos battery. What are the consequences of these sync errors, does that mean that the data was bad and it has been fixed? or that the data on those sectors is bad after the parity check? Can i Interrupt the monthly parity check, change the cache drive, troubleshoot etc, and restart the parity check? approx 20 hours to go on it. Update - i should specify, i have 2 servers, this is Pipe - the other problem posted was Tower, a different server. Can someone have a look at my logs and advise me how to proceed? Darn , i missed that window, my brother is just flying out now! - hope fully i can get some feedback from someone who has used this one specifically with that one - easy to get from costco and have a friend bring back. Scary stuff that the last link i shared though.

I have an option for my brother to pick up one of these cyberpowers and bring it to me in alaska in just a few hours. sounds like a bit of a gamble but that it will most likely work for the shutdown only from what i have read so far. - or not - seems like anything i can find has a problem in the forums -

If i install preclear plugin as per instructions on post 1, using gfjardim, will it work on 6.5 unraid? Or are there still problems?

This is a general question, and its pretty similar to the one that has probably been asked a lot, but here it is. Sonarr recognizes a multi episode something like 800 words s03e07-08.mkv on a manual import, but after importing it and naming it 800 Words - S03E07-08 - Episode 7 + Episode 8 SDTV it still shows episode 8 as missing. and while im asking that, also when i clicked rescan series and disk icon, even though i had moved s03e07-08 out of the folder, it still showed s03e07 as being there. In this case is it missing out on missing files? should i be prompting it to check for files in a different manner?

How do i restore now? i rebooted and mineos has no sign of any servers? i did the cron job. thanks in advance.

I have a good number of tv shows that are marked as downloading in Sonarr, but they aren't. When i try to download again via manual search i get the message "Sanzbd is disabled due to recent failures" I am attaching logs from sonarr and sanzbd - i restarted them a few times which may show in the log. Also i removed the tin star which drone was having problems with. Is there a way to tell sonarr that the file is not downloading and try again? I have had a few failures like this before, but not ever disabling sabnzbd. I believe i just manually downloaded the file and put in drone folder to get around it. Also i don't know if it makes any difference, but i had the appdata folder not on the cache but on the array for a change of cache drive a while ago and had not set it back to cache only. Just changed that in case it makes a difference. - I should also mention that i just did a 2 drive data rebuilt ending yesterday which took over 2 days. this may have triggered the failures or caused them for some reason? sanzbd log.txt sonnar log.txt

One more question - does this save the game automatically in my appdata starbound directory? I just lost my kids mineos saved game because i didn't have a cron job set.

Is Mineos supposed to automatically save the server? If not what specifically do i do on the scheduler?

Does that just restrict it to users named on the linux box?

First thanks BashNinja for posting the video and making this unraid docker! I just got this working with starbound 1.3.2a gog version. Used a windows machine to do everything for install. Added /mnt/user/appdata/starbound to config like in the video. Downloaded latest linux starbound.sh on windows box. Opened it with winrar and copied folders to \\tower\mnt\user\appdata\starbound samba share (substitute your unraid box name or ip address for tower) I then had to telnet to the unraid box and chown -R 777 the/mnt/user/appdata/starbound directory. Then the docker it once via docker window on unraid - this generated the config file mentioned. chown again and edit the server config file as per video/instructions. Ran docker again and it works. Sorry if this is kind of jumbled or confusing but i wanted to let people know it is working and can be done even if downloaded on windows. PS i don't know much about linux and it probably shows. Good news is it didn't take that long. Off to play starbound with my son

Just a guess, go to settings/notifications and set it up on your server if not done already.

I tried a few days ago to simultaneously preclear 3 8tb archive drives and had each preclear freeze in different parts of the preclear operation. I rebooted and tried again with just one and its frozen as well. I see no errors in the log and i received no notifcations of stages complete. Using Opera as browser. Also on both of my unraid servers when i update preclear plugin or delete and reinstall i do not get a "done" at the bottom but it does say that it has been updated. At this point i am downloading the other 2 preclear plugins to try them. Which one is most recommended? any suggestions? Edit/Update - is it possible to have all 3 preclear plugins running? It appears that that there is a naming conflict in the now i only have gfjardim 8.0-beta and joe L 1.15? I am trying the JoeL but not getting any constant updates via the monitoring window.; (and now i am reading in the forums that its not working with latest unraid? I find the whole thing overly complicated and confusing. Frustrated at the moment. Should i even be trying to use the other scripts or sticking with the beta that comes with july 10th preclear plugin? Update2. It has now failed 5 times on one machine, it doesnt appear that any notifications are happening on this one, yet it goes about 12 hours before locking up. So far so good on a 2nd unraid server with one of the same hard drives that failed.
