  1. I can't edit scripts. Holding the pointer of the cog, edit scrips is there. But nothing happens when pushing the button. kjell-diagnostics-20240110-1237.zip
  2. Are there any hidden folders or bins inside the pool as I don't see? I deleted a few VMs. Happy for any feedback. kjell-diagnostics-20231213-1843.zip
  3. I have used app before, but now I can't´install it. Not able to get to the template. Diagnostic is added. If anybody care to describe how to troubleshoot an issue like this, I be happy to learn. kjell-diagnostics-20231211-1504.zip
  4. The above from the manual is very much untrue. On my Asus mobo it is used constantly when CSM is enabled on the bios. Unfortunately the USB drive is set to Legacy. Is there a way to change from Legacy to UEFI boot directly on the USB drive? // Frode
  5. After update to 6.12.5 I got this message asking me to visit the Support Forum. I'm not really sure if only visiting the Forum will avoid plugin issues, but I'm willing to give it a go. What is the cure here? helmaxx-diagnostics-20231130-1811.zip
  6. The stub didn't work. Remove it - restart - enable stub, and I found 3090 appeared in device manager. I have restarted the server several times (10 at least) but that wasn't enough. OK. it works as second GPU. I haven't tried as primary.
  7. Hi, I used to run one GamePC and one Unraid Server. The first was seldom in use and the latter pulled 300-400W. So, I made some changes closing the specific game PC, and added a lower powered 24/7 server. The Game PC is moved to a VM on the bigger server. I was able to get a few stages on the new WRC Rally game, but then the GPU passthrough failed. I have tried setting up the GPU as primary and secondary GPU, with and without passing through vbios (modified) and the mods in SIO´s video, but I can't get it (RTX3090) visible in Device Manager. I tried both Windows 10 and Windows 11. The VM is running on "Server 2" in the Signature. I'm tried to get in working over 2-3 days and about 10 hours work. Now I can need a push in the right direction. Cheers helmaxx-diagnostics-20231126-1901.zip
  8. I followed the steps and could install the plugin successfully. After re-booting I could not set anything in the plugin Setting up number of VF´s, etc. before rebooting just resulted in the same plugin as above. A hint what I did wrong would be great. // Frode
  9. I followed these steps, but couldn´t get it going. I copied the directories: "install" and "lib", as well as just the files "slack-desc" "i915.ko.xz" I got this error message installing the plugin: I guess a make some stupid mistake with the files to be copied. (Yes, I have started Linux beginners crash course. I shout when finished......) // Frode
  10. Thanks. I have to ask again. Is it the 2 files "slack-desc" "i915.ko.xz" only, or the directories "install" and "lib"?
  11. Should these two files be copied as is, or extracted first?
  12. Jeez, blind man doing his thing. Thanks for the reading aid.
  13. Hi, This plugin is brilliant. If I only can get it running. The plugin page lists no available Modes: Instructions are followed. HDMI dongle. Tried bios "Internal GPU" both "Auto" and "enabled". Hoping for some advise. kjell-diagnostics-20231107-1428.zip
  14. Should the boxes be ticked automatically after running the script? Mine do not. I see an Ethernet Controller, but the nic ref itself. //
  15. It can be on the bios level. No link. I tried disabling ASPM and changed some other setting, no luck. I´ll have a look at firmware etc. //
  16. I found this in the mobo manual. Note 2 is kind a strange. (If you drive in lane b, you have to drive in a). My understanding is that slot 7 only supports x16. The nic is x8, that's why I put it there in the first place. I move it back and see if I can get it in Network setting.
  17. I done that, but no change. Then I moved the NIC from slot 4 to slot 7. Then I see both ports in network settings. Still somewhat puzzled about why it's not visible in slot 4. OK, no problem having the nic in slot 7. But I can't get the nic to work. One port says "check cable", the other I can't get communication going. Pretty sure the cable is ok, tested 3 different including one that worked with this nic on the former mobo. Added diagnostics after I moved the nic. kjell-diagnostics-20231013-1526.zip
  18. Network Settings. Also, the nic is visible in bios. I deleted the the network.cfg file and restarted. No change. NIC is Intel E810-XXV in "server2". Happy for any help. // kjell-diagnostics-20231012-2357.zip
  19. Thanks for responding to my questions. Much appreciated. Just for me to sure running this on 6.12.4: 1) Run the script "wget 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/andre-richter/vfio-pci-bind/master/vfio-pci-bind.sh'; mv vfio-pci-bind.sh /boot/config/" 2) Run the cpmmand: "sudo echo 4 > /sys/class/net/eth1/device/sriov_numvfs" The driver is "ice". Do I have to run the "wget...." after every restart? //
  20. Great, Can 02:00.1 and 02:00.0 also run on different subnet?
  21. Thanks @BVD for your guide. Great work. Is it possible to run one port as is, and split into VFs on the other? And run VFs on a different subnet from the port not touched? // F
  22. Going from a LSI 9400-8i to a 10 port sata pcie card reduced power usage about 15W on my server.
  23. The power usage reduction was about 15W removing LSI 9400-8i and add a 10 port Sata pcie card.
