Which Unraid OS version are you on 7.2.4?

Yes but the VM is Mojave (with Q35-4.2) and the "new" device is an iPhone 5S. I don't want to take your time with what's likely an edge case.

Thank you!!

I'm new to USB manager and enabled HUB Processing to see what it would do and got that message. Didn't realize that I must have also enabled USBIP at the same time.
I was wondering what I broke...

What is USBIP? Does that allow a VM to access a USB device that's elsewhere on the network?

Yes USBIP allows connecting a USB device from another, i.e. a Raspberry PI could be the USBIP server and the Unraid server uses it over the network. You need to install an add on plugin for the usbip binaries. Note USBIP is not a very secure comms session.

Hub processing will connect all of the devices on a specific hub as you cannot passthru hubs. It will go through each of the devices and attachment to a vm.

Here is a post showing usbip.

how come the Fix Common issues is throwing error

The plugin usb_manager.plg is not known to Community Applications and is possibly incompatible with your server	As a general rule, if the plugin is not known to Community Applications, then it is not compatible with your server. It is recommended to uninstall this plugin

Thanks. You found a very subtle difference in how the new system populated the feed vs the old system. FCP was updated earlier for this subtle change, and the feed system has now also been updated to populate the feed the same way the old system did.!

It looks like there were a total of 40 plugins which would have triggered the alert from FCP (and the update to FCP would have only covered ~half of those). The remaining issues (eg: Dynamix plugins, and nvidia plugin etc) are handled via the feed update
