Thanks to our amazing community, the 7.0.0 pre-releases were installed on over 5000 systems!

Unraid 7.2.0 is now available with a responsive WebGUI, ZFS RAIDZ expansion, expanded file system support (NTFS, exFAT, ext2/3/4), a built-in open-source API, and tons more. See all the details in the release notes.

For absolute no reason, I decided to look manually for an update and got one. My internal nonsensical brain working as usual )

Thanks for the constant updates & the endless features added.

Updated 7.1.4 --> 7.2.0 no issues. Thank you for your hard work on this release, I appreciate all of you!

proxmox VM upgrade no issues. Borg real hardware same no isseus. Thanks again for a seamless updated.

Upgraded 2 systems and they run perfect. Smooth as a baby butt

Upgrade went smoothly on my Intel® N100 @ 2871 MHz system. No issues so far.

Anyone who had PCIe pass through issues on >7.0.1 (RMRR regression?) able to do so on 7.2.0?

The update to version 7.2 ran without errors on my main server. All 25 Docker and Home Assistant instances in a VM are working. There is a minor visual inconsistency in one menu (see screenshot).

Many thanks to the Unraid Team !

Was holding off for the full release 😊 Upgraded from 7.0.0 > 7.2.0. No issues so far.

After upgrading from 7.1.4 to 7.2, the frigate container refuses to start, displaying this error:

Error response from daemon: error while creating mount source path ‘/etc/localtime’: mkdir /etc/localtime: file exists

But I’m not certain if this issue is related to Unraid.

Updated from 7.1.4 --> 7.2.0 with no issues so far - only had to update some docker images and plugins.

The new interface seems to be way more responsive than the old one (using Firefox v144 at the moment).

Thanks for the constant updates and new features!

Just upgraded from 7.1.4, looking good so far

Upgraded from 7.1.4 to 7.2.0. Nothing exciting to report 👍

weird issue. my smb user share named "share" stopped working. It says case insensitive Share name is not unique.

Screenshots below.

Going back to 7.1.2 share is back online and accesible from network

I did get diagnostic logs before the downgrade if support is interested.

Thanks for the update, knew the notification bell and general UI improvement for it was being bundled into Unraid Connect in 7.1.4. It looks exactly the same in 7.2, next time please don't gaslight people reporting issues in terms of code being silently shipped (and not showing in changelogs).

One small issue I've noticed, even during the RC's is that the flash backup icon never stops spinning though connect shows current flash backups. I see this on both of my systems.

Backups seem current though

Getting the same here, too. Except it made me re-connect my account and doesn't seem to have done any backup sync.

Check in the config/shares folder on the flash drive that the capitalization of the .cfg file for that share matches the folders for that share on your drives.

First Unraid OS update after entering the Unraid world a couple of months ago with 7.1.4 on an UGREEN NASync DXP6800 Pro.

No issues.

P.S. Still needs a good internal backup solution to compete with my QNAP's.....

Likely it's named Share.cfg on the flash drive (/config/shares); if yes, or another capitalization mismatch, just rename it to the correct one, or delete it, and reapply the share settings, and Unraid will create a new correct cfg file.
