Check to see if the pool needs to be upgraded first, click the first pool device and check the zpool status; if it's not that, please create a new bug report in https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/stable-releases/ and post the diagnostics.

The pool needs upgrading. I was able to expand the pool after the upgrade. Thank you for the help.

"The vdev's assumed parity ratio does not change, so slightly less space than is expected may be reported for newly written blocks..." - I saw this in another thread. Is there a way to know what the actual available free space in the pool is? Thanks.

No issues upgrading from 7.1.4 to 7.2.0.

Why is Unraid still using Firefox? Firefox is not your Dad's Firefox anymore.

Unraid should switch to Brave, and apply the same privacy settings that Zorin OS did for version 17.3 and 18?

Upgrade went very smoothly for me!

Does anyone have detail on this feature from the release notes:

Feature: Add favicon and web app manifest support

This can be tricky, since due to a ZFS bug, capacity/used/free space stats are not correctly reported after a RAIDZ expansion.

Just know that the extra capacity added can be fully used; just the reporting is wrong, and hopefully it will be fixed by OpenZFS in the future. More info here in the notes section: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/page/4/#findComment-1537164

Solid release. Ran both RC's with no critical issues. Just updated to final. No issues so far.

Anyone know how I can upgrade install it on my 2GB usb stick?
(Its 2gb because its a industrial stick)

The OS runs in RAM so surely it should be able to copy the current usb key data to a drive on the array or cache then create the new usb stick in ram and write back to the USB stick?

Current OS seems to use about 700 MB then plugins use another 300-500 MB.

it wants 900 MB free on USB stick but there's 25+GB free RAM to use.

Do the manual install process.

Unraid keeps the previous version on the stick so you can downgrade, 2G is too tight. Got about 2.3GB used on mine.

This was a quick and easy upgrade. So far it all "just works".

Thanks!

Just upgraded from 7.1.4 without issue.

Any insight on what's changed regarding the below note in the changelog?

Fix: Change Windows 11 VM defaults

Many thanks, as always, for your info - and for a great OS!

I just upgrading from 7.1.4 to 7.2.0

Upgrade went well. Only bug I have is that all my containers are missing from docker. Any clue on what to do to restore them ?

Uneventful upgrade from 7.1.4 to 7.2.0. That's rather boring yet the type of boredom I like.

Thank you for the great job

I updated from RC2 to 7.2.0 and everything is working fine.

But the GUI is still slow... or is that normal?

Not at all. But this announce thread is not good for support, please start a new thread under General Support and be sure to include your diagnostics.

Quick question, since i noticed it only by chance now, does this message "1280 stripes (7 disks)" include the not-assigned 2nd parity disk?

Otherwise it seems like the math doesnt math

How can I resolve the color inconsistency issue? I've removed the CSS and theme engine, but the problem persists.

This problem has existed since version 7.1.0. Could you tell me how to solve it, or teach me how to change the theme color?

Correct, both parity disks are included in that, even if none is assigned.

I'm not clear what the issue is, but it sounds like something that is going to take some back and forth. Please start a new topic in General Support to discuss this, thanks!

Very sluggish. especially docker and the containers does not seem to have internet access. i have custom network.

After 2 restarts i got network access for the dockets for a day or so. Now it is back to no network/internet access.

I have had 0 problems for over a year. so something has messed things up. scary when it works for a day and then not

Most things seem to have updated smoothly.

Unfortunately, it seems I'm no longer able to bind dockers to networks properly (eth0/eth3 both disappeared, VLANs still show). Nothing in the release notes prepared me for this, and I can't find any settings yet to resolve.
