If you are already on 7.2.1, this is an optional update. We primarily released it for Trial users, to fix a bug that prevented them from seeing their Trial expiration date. We also addressed an issue related to custom background header colors, we'd recommend updating if you have those set.

If you are on 7.2.0 or earlier you can skip straight to this release, it includes all the great changes in 7.2.1.

These quick-fire follow up releases because things were changed between RC and final really make me lose confidence in a given release.

7.2.1 should have been released exactly as RC1 with no other changes. If there were known broken things or things that needed fixing then there should have been a 7.2.1 RC2 to test those before releasing as 7.2.1.

In part this release seems to have happened because there were surprise changes between 7.2.1 RC1 and 7.2.1 Final that now need to be fixed.

Please stop doing this. It undermines the confidence of a given Final release having been tested properly.

Think I fixed the white notification issue. I went to display settings changed the Dynamix color them to another color then back to black and now its back to normal. We'll see if it keeps it that way

Tried that and now its almost always white. :/ Random times it shows dark as it should but mostly white with unreadable text.

I don't like the new notifications at all either but each to their own.

Extra clicks, new notifications can't stay open indef, extra clicks to get them acked. I miss and forget notifications all the time now (yes, I use agents).

I remember the FR where we asked about the option to have them on screen until acked/closed. We got that as an option but then, regression again.

And now this.

(Connect installed but not used, I just want to keep the api updated)

I also have the white background banner situation since updating. Grey theme is broken now it seems.

Also, my drives don't automatically spin down anymore.

Same white banner for grey theme.

For spindown problem, I face once, disk will spinup soon after spindown and UD show have throughtput forever in some fixed figure (counter no change). After restart array, problem gone.

A second restart seems to have fixed the spin-down issue.

Same here. I stopped updating right after new releases because I was tired of spending my weekends troubleshooting Unraid issues. Now I wait a good while before upgrading, and only do it once I see that the major bugs are worked out or unlikely to affect my setup.

Still <3 LT, but it is what it is...

Agree. I've been using unraid for a very long time. Nearly 15 years.

So i updated and immediately got warning GUID id was incorrect, cannot contact unraid server at all

unraid.net account says it has no record of me purchasing a licences.

It also says "Your server is using a different USB flash drive than the one registered with your license? but its not

For licensing issues, you will need to contact support.

thanks, have started a ticket.
Now my unraid.net account says i have an expired trial licence 5 years out of date? but i don't. ability to "manage server" and replace key has now disappeared.
Server now reachable but no array.

Updated from 7.2 —> 7.2.1 —> 7.2.2 no issues my side and all went well.

I only had discovered the issues in this release. Still there is one issue pending, which is random disconnection from UI. It was not the case with 7.2.2. My network is fine.

When using the Update OS from Tools menu I get

I had to go to top right, open dropdown and do check for updates

The white background in notifications need to be fixed. Couldn't read my notifications today (you can if you can select the text).

Same problem here, and it's pretty annoying to have to select the text in order to read it.
