guruleenyc
I have been updating my VMDK using winimage as new releases come out. You can just replace the bzimage, bzroot, and the new bzroot-gui files in your VMDK each time there is a new release. I can post mine after each update if there is interest. Edit: Here are my VMDKs for 6.1.9 and 6.2. unRAIDServer-x86_64_v_6_1_9 unRAIDServer-x86_64_v_6_2 Thank you!!! Quote Link to comment

SCSI
What hardware version are the latest VMDK? Been running on an old unRAID VM forever with the following: Guest OS: FreeBSD (32-bit) Compatibility: ESXi 5.1 and later (VM version 9) I just noticed that the guest OS is FreeBSD (32-bit) although I have 6GB RAM set up. Any added benefits to having a higher VM version? Just upgraded to ESXi 6.5a. Update: I just noticed that the attachments are just VMDK to attach to a new VM. Quote Link to comment

Finally rebuild array on new fs and Migrate data back. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

guruleenyc
I found my unraid webut and dockers all unresponsive except for ssh this morning again. This happens every couple days. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Hopefully converting all disks to xfs will solve that, seems to be the #1 reason for that issue. Quote Link to comment

guruleenyc
I tried upgrading my stable unraid 6.3.2 ESXi VM by replacing the bzimage, bzroot and bzroot-gui files in the VMDK, but unraid boots up to login, but I'm not able to ping in/out of it. It has a bri and lo adapters. Any tips would be appreciated to get my unraid upgraded. Quote Link to comment

Not doing the former will lead to what you are seeing. 1 Quote Link to comment

guruleenyc
Has any successfully upgrdaed their unraid running as a ESXi vm to the latest version? If so, can someone direct me how to upgrade my unraid 6.3.2? I tried the earlier steps in this thread replacing the two files, but no success. Quote Link to comment

What is the problem you are seeing? Quote Link to comment
