May 30, 20251 yr I'm getting a blank page on versions 2025-05-29 and 2025-05-29a. Downgrading to 2025-01-28 fixes the issue, but I'm then being asked to upgrade. On my test server I performed the upgrade, and it's right back to blank apps page. All my servers are on 6.12.15. Edited May 30, 20251 yr by rainformpurple
May 30, 20251 yr The same happened here after I upgraded, just need to figure out how to downgrade to a working version. Edited May 30, 20251 yr by TRaSH
May 30, 20251 yr Upgrading the plugin fixed it for me. Thanks for the quick fix. I am on 7.1.2. Edited May 30, 20251 yr by nampad
May 30, 20251 yr Version 2025.05.29a causes a 500 server error on notifications on my 6.12.15 unraid. Downgrading it to 2025.01.28 fixes the issue.
May 30, 20251 yr I'm on Unraid v6.12.15. I'm now just getting a blank page when going to the "Apps" menu after upgrading to v2025.05.29/v2025.05.29a of the Community Apps Plugin.
May 30, 20251 yr Same problem 6.12.15 - the Community Apps update gives a blank page. How does one downgrade back to the previous version?
May 30, 20251 yr Author K. 6.12.x isn't on my usual test regimen, especially if I don't think that anything would affect it.Downgrading a test server right now...
May 30, 20251 yr Author Try the upgrade (Plugins, Check for Updates) 2025.05.30Cause is that 7.x includes a proxy configuration where as 6.12 doesn't. All my dev work is always done on the absolute latest version of the OS.
May 30, 20251 yr Thank you. Community Apps 2025.05.30 fixes the issue on Unraid 6.12.15.What awesome support !-- Tom

Can you go to Tools, PHP settings, set PHP errors to be "All Categories" (apply) and then back to CA, and if it refuses to come up, post your diagnostics here

June 2, 20251 yr I’m also experiencing an issue with the latest update of the Community Applications plugin (30-05-2025) on Unraid 7.1.2.After installing it, everything seems fine according to the diagnostics, but then it gets stuck on Updating Content and never progresses from there.I’m attaching my diagnostics file. Thanks for your support! nas-diagnostics-20250602-1149.zip
June 2, 20251 yr A quick update that might be helpful:My interface language is set to Italian. If I change the interface language to English, the plugin works correctly.

June 3, 20251 yr Thank you so much for pushing out CA 6.02 so quickly. The Italian language/CA combo works perfectly now :-)
June 4, 20251 yr Bit of feedback: it's always confused new users that Apps in the header bar doesn't take them to their own services or plugins, and is in fact more of an "app store" style repository of plugins and container templates.IMO, it would make sense to move this to the row of black icons on the right of the header. Perhaps an icon that says "apps and icons". Something along the lines of https://www.flaticon.com/free-icon/application_5997060?term=apps&page=1&position=13&origin=search&related_id=5997060 could work (extremely open in that regard).I also feel like the Docker page should have a split button akin to Gmail's Send/Schedule split button, so that users can quickly choose to add a container from the Community Apps plugin.Likewise, I think it would be intuitive to tie Community Apps into /Docker/AddContainer by letting users search for a container template beyond their own local ones within that UI. Clicking the Browse Community Apps Templates could open a side-bar on the right that lets users scroll and search through templates, then dynamically load the template in on the left, so they can check the vars, and if it doesn't meet expectations or requirements, continue browsing uninterrupted to see what other templates offer. This would be hugely valuable when there are sometimes a lot of options for a single piece of software, e.g., Nextcloud has AIO etc.Would also be nice to pull in templates and compose files from other registries.

June 4, 20251 yr I sent a DM to @Squid about ten days ago to try to get my Docker container for Roon published to community applications because the one that's currently up there hasn't seen any updates in about two years. The maintainer of that template actually hasn't responded to any requests on the support thread or over direct message to try to swap out that Docker container with something more actively maintained.I put together a container based on another one that was recommended on the Roon Labs Community Forums. It's based on Photon OS, and I have used GitHub Actions to automatically push a new image of it on the first of each month to Docker Hub, so all the dependencies, OS, etc are always patched. This is my first time doing this, but I'm almost certain my XML is correct, and I've sent everything over to Squid. The XML is published to GitHub in its own repository and I've also created a support thread which needs to be moved. It's located here currently: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/190570-support-roonserver-photon-os/I'm just trying to get this out there so other people can benefit from it. My main reason for doing this was I was actually running into some compatibility issues with the current container on CA likely because it just hasn't been updated in so long, I believe some of the dependencies are no longer compatible with Roon. Additionally, the maintainer of the template for Unraid isn't the maintainer of the docker container itself. It seems like the maintainer of the docker container itself may no longer be interested in updating the container based on what we're seeing In the broader Roon community.I'm hoping Squid can help me get this published just to benefit others in the community that may be interested in a more up-to-date and secure container. Thank you.
