It appears the 2025.01.11 update to the CA plugin is the issue, it is NOT an Unraid V7 issue. I have 2 servers on V7.0.0 and only one has updated the CA plugin and that server has the issue.

It appears there is now a 2025.01.11a update which has resolved the issue for me, nice work @Squid

good job!! TY

Can confirm that evreything is running fine now.

Thanks for your work.

Can confirm that 2025.01.11b still fails if NordVPN Threat Protection is enabled, as per below screenshot. Disabling NVPN TP makes the problem go away. I have raised a ticket with Nord, clearly their latest TP upgrade has done something new that makes things break. Interestingly, the latest Nord upgrade also "breaks" perfectly legitimate websites (like https://bodyblade.com). Thanks @Squid for all your efforts, love your work mate.

Can confirm issue is now resolved after the latest update to CA I just got.

The 2025.01.11b update resolved the problem.

2025.01.12 Fixes the NordVPN issue.

This is the result of Nord injecting code into the back and forth communication between the browser and CA's backend with no regards to the fact that how it is quoted might actually be important.

Nord decided to inject

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://192-168-1-61.9203aa01864xxxxx08034.myunraid.net/Fj66-IN6ugCFBxpO41TgbXyd1aNfum9AWHOy1LWUmhpyknyxrE-UdEdflxw8JRzZYFyZJ3vrKTD0BPKt7s1YRA=="></script>

into the middle of a return message that is formatted as JSON.  The double quotes they decided to use causes this to be invalid JSON.

Maybe someone should mention to them that it's not particularly cool to do this kind of stuff

I'm new to unRAID. This is a new installed system with a free trial.

I'm trying to get some apps and play with the system a little bit before deciding to buy. But I'm getting this error each time I entring the apps tab.

I've attached the ca_log.txt

Unraid version: 7.0.0

4TBx2 Seagate Ironwolf red - one as parity and one for storage.

Unfortunately (Probably Nord's fault lol) I can't seem to download your log.

Can you try disabling all extensions and see if there's any change?

haha, I'm happy to add your findings to my open ticket with Nord. For the next 6 months, that is, until I jump over to Proton :)

Again, love your work @Squid .. hope it didn't wreck your weekend.

Weekend?!?   I work from home so at the best of times I have to ask Alexa what day it even is

Here, try this one, hope it will work this time.

*Edit: it doesn't work again. Just download from here:

I tried to disable Docker and VM Manager but it didn't solve the problem.

This updated version also fixed the search issue for me, thank-you @Squid (although curiously I had it without having any VPN in use - I wish I had captured logs before updating to 2025.01.12). But now I want a Bodyblade...  :D

@Squid

I found out it related to the browser (Chrome) somehow, when I trying to access the apps from another browser there is no problem.

I tried to clear cache, cookies and site data - didn't help. Even delete and install Chrome didn't solve it. Any ideas?

See the last few posts, are you using NordVPN by any chance?

Hello Everyone, I am new to unraid and I was trying to install the intel gpu top plugin and I was unable to search for the plugin, tried rebooting the system and tried to downlaod an app to see if that works, I still got the same error. Can someone kindly aid me in resolving this issue. I tried uninstalling the community applications plugin and reinstalling it to see if that works, still the same issue. It worked perfectly fine last time I downloaded plugins and apps, around 2 days ago. I'm currently in version 7 cr 2. Thought this is an issue with the beta and installed the version 7, still the same issue.image.png.74d57081481f900b7c3058df19c4ffbe.png

Try today's update

Hello.  I'm running 7.0 and everything in CA had been working fine but now Action Centre isn't loading, even though I have a Docker container with a pending update.  This was working yesterday, but isn't working today.  Is this an issue with 2025.01.15b or should I look elsewhere for a root cause?

  • Author

Nope.  My bad.  Part of the revamp in communication for the Nord issues, and I missed changing a line that enabled action centre and another spot that checked if when installing to display the pop up warning that you'd have to change ports if they conflicted.

Will release tomorrow
