January 10, 201610 yr I am still having these issues after changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Any other thoughts? I even got a clean copy of UNRAID and tried to install it from there no dice. plugin: installing: /boot/config/plugins/community.applications.plg plugin: downloading: https://raw.github.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/archive/community.applications-2016.01.02.txz ... done plugin: bad file MD5: /boot/config/plugins/community.applications/community.applications-2016.01.02.txz and plugin: installing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg plugin: downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg ... done Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg:1: parser error : Document is empty in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 plugin: xml parse error
January 10, 201610 yr I tried more stuff for some reason clearing the flash drive again and not copying over the key and just using the url worked... It changed the DNS servers to really weird numbers but it seems to be working now.
January 10, 201610 yr Author Updated to 2016.01.10b Changed how the appfeed downloads. Now it will only re-download IF there has been a change in it (a ton faster, especially if (like me) your internet connection is pretty much always maxed out). This means that the time stamp at the bottom of the page reflects the last time a change happened (addition / deletion / change) to an application. (In other words, depending upon how active the community is at the time, this time stamp may be from a week ago (or more) ) There is still NO reason to hit Update Applications under normal circumstances, even if the date showing is a couple of weeks old. All it means is that there has been no change in the available applications since that time. However, moderation comments AND blacklists are always updated whenever entering the Apps tab (small files)
January 11, 201610 yr Just tried to update the Plugin to version 2016.01.10b from 2016.01.02 on both of my Main and Backup production servers and I receive the following error on both: plugin: updating: community.applications.plg plugin: downloading: https://raw.github.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/archive/community.applications-2016.01.10.txz ... done plugin: bad file MD5: /boot/config/plugins/community.applications/community.applications-2016.01.10.txz

January 11, 201610 yr I believe this happens when the check for plugins detects a new version, but in the meantime a newer one is released, so it’s trying to download one release and using md5 from a different one, checking for updates in the plugins page should fix it.
January 12, 201610 yr The last update gives an error message on the console: "rm: cannot remove '/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/AppStore.page.bak': No such file or directory"

Which is probably what happened, since there was a very quick update to CA (actually to fix the issue dlandon pointed out) but I forgot about not having any naked & in the xml which messed up the xml and required a new update to get rid of it.

January 14, 201610 yr I'm having a similar issue installing Community Applications: plugin: installing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg plugin: downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg ... done Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg:116: parser error : Premature end of data in tag CHANGES line 15 in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): - Pop up free in appfe in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg:116: parser error : Premature end of data in tag PLUGIN line 13 in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): - Pop up free in appfe in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 plugin: xml parse error No VPN. I was using google DNS but that was causing a different problem (document is empty error as per previous posts), so I've reverted to default ISP DNS which seems to have made some progress. I've inspected community.applications.plg manually and the xml looks good to me.
January 16, 201610 yr Author Updated to 2016.01.16 (Completely unrelated to 6.1.7) - Fix: Under certain circumstances, updated Moderator Comments would not be downloaded - Fix: Under certain circumstances, popup descriptions would show errors.
January 16, 201610 yr Author Oh, and another thing. If you are one of the users who has moved the User's menu to settings via CA and have updated to 6.1.7+, then you should tell CA via its menu settings to put everything back to normal and then restart your server (to get all the system files back to 100%) and then move the user's menu via Display Settings. Probably once 6.2 comes out, I will completely remove this option from CA as it is now redundant and you should be using the Dynamix UI to relocate the menu.
January 16, 201610 yr Author And one last thing CA has the ability to enforce minimum and maximum unRaid versions the plugin / docker app is able to be installed on. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=40299.msg427252#msg427252 With the update to 6.1.7 (and the new kernel version), there are a couple of plugins (ZFS and OpenVM tools) that will not operate correctly. Those authors who have compatibility issues with varying kernel versions should implement the MinVer and MaxVer tags within their templates to minimize their support issues with their apps. CA's moderators have the ability to override any author set values (or not set values) on apps which appear to be abandoned. In the meantime, we are not going to be following every thread to determine compatibility with the OS except for apps which appear to have been abandoned.
January 18, 201610 yr With CA do you need to add each docker repository manually still? Ive just installed a cache drive and created "appdata" share on cache only. Docker.img is set to cache. When i click "add" on a docker application, the popup takes me to the add container page and asking me to select a template. I though this was done automatically in the past? Running latest version of unraid, and have removed all things docker and CA plugin and tried again...but still the same Any clues?

If you click Add from CA then it fills in the page for you. Selecting a template is only for when you want to get the page filled in from one you have already saved.

Tho when i click add, it comes up to essentially a blank page with no template loaded Not sure if the attached clear - but that what i see after clicking 'add' EDIT - Attachment didnt work, will try again
January 18, 201610 yr Author Need to see a screenshot. But after the app is created you will be presented with a blank template. Just the way dockerMan works
