[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm trying to open the WebUI but I can't get it to work.  I have configured deluge vpn as per the Space Invader one video.  Deluge vpn container start just fine but I can't open WebUI.

I tried to delete the container and re-install without succes.  If I disable the VPN_ENABLE key in the config I can get to WebUI.

I have attached the log.  Anyone can help please?

Alright, I followed the docker help process so hopefully I did it correctly.

I updated Unraid from 6.9.X to 6.11.5 and now delugevpn is not allowing me to view the WebGUI.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try to delete the perms.txt in your appdata and restart the container. Post a new log if you can't get to the webui.

This seems to be your issue:

2023-02-13 08:56:48 VERIFY ERROR: depth=0, error=CA signature digest algorithm too weak: C=US, ST=VPN, L=VPN, O=VPN, OU=VPN, CN=VPN, name=VPN, emailAddress=VPN, serial=1

2023-02-13 08:56:48,838 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output:
2023-02-13 08:56:48 TLS_ERROR: BIO read tls_read_plaintext error
2023-02-13 08:56:48 TLS Error: TLS object -> incoming plaintext read error
2023-02-13 08:56:48 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed

It looks like your vpn provider is issuing a week cert, you need to get a updated one from your vpn provider.

Suddenly having an issue with delugevpn.
Checked the logs and it just replays this message over and over again.

[info] Starting OpenVPN (non daemonised)...

2023-02-13 21:28:25,699 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output:

Options error: Unrecognized option or missing or extra parameter(s) in /config/openvpn/openvpn.ovpn:13: ncp-disable (2.6.0)

Worked fine until I updated the ubuntu server it's running on.
Ubuntu server is running portainer 2.17.0 CE, with binhex/arch-delugevpn:latest running on it as a docker.
I'm using cyberghost as the VPN Provider.
it's worked fine until now.

Any ideas?

Remove "ncp-disable" from your .ovpn file and retart the container.

Trying to delete but it never does. Used Windows but it won't let me due to permissions. Tried Krusader but no dice there either.

Do you know how to use the command line? Or Midnight Commander? Just ssh into your server or click the terminal in the unraid webui. type mc and hit enter. Navigate to the appdata folder and delete it from there.

Got it with MC. Really cool, never knew about that before.

Deleting Perms fixed it. Thank you!!!!

So deluge is good. But just checked my arrs that are routing through it and they aren't visible

You mean you can't get to the webui of the arrs? Has it been a while since you updated delugevpn? There was some changes some time ago when routing other apps through a vpn app. Do you have your input and output ports setup according to the faq Q25 and Q27? https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/vpn.md

I just looked through the logs and it's a permissions issue. I'll start looking around to see if someone has already found the fix. Thanks!

Ok, Yeah a lot of users had permission issues when updating to 6.11 due to not using the correct setup. If you have the arrs running on another uid/gid other then 99/100 you need to change it back to the standard 99/100. And make sure the right permission are set in the settings of the arrs. After doing that you might need to run the new (docker safe) perms script found under tools in the unraid webui on you shares to fix permission issues.

Not sure if this has been asked before but cannot find it when searching the thread, so apologies up front if it is there an I missed it.

I have installed the docker instance of this in unraid and all works fine with the vpn file entered etc.  My problem is that when I change the docker instance to use a fixed IP address it doesn't allow me to load the page.  It looks find based on the logs, nothing untoward listed.  If I turn of vpn then it works fine on the fixed IP

Any help would be appreciated...... :)

Since last image update of today, it's failing. Looks like its looping and restarting constantly. Logs do not show anything useful.

Havent changed any settings or anything since ages for this container, and was always working fine. Any ideas?
