Bjonness406
Added excluded folders for permission tests and new permissions script (set via the main FCP page) Thanks! Is there a way to remove the previous "Extended Test Results"? Maybe add a button for this? Just a nice touch. You don't want it save for posterity safe in perpetuity? rm /tmp/fix.common.problems/extendedLog Never thought about deleting old logs LOL Maybe not? Quote Link to comment
squirrellydw
So I love this but have a question. The permission on the share is currently set to 2777 (standard permissions are 0777). You may have trouble accessing this share. I have this for a few shares. When I run it, it still lists the same warnings no matter how many times I do it. Any idea? Quote Link to comment

(not an issue) I'm actually going to be removing the permission test from fcp, and leaving it within the extended test as that is more comprehensive (and closer to reality on issues) Quote Link to comment

squirrellydw
Any idea how I can fix this? Squid
Is that a backup of your appdata you made yourself? The destination for CA backups are automatically excluded (along with appdata itself) yesterday's version allows you to exclude additional folders. squirrellydw
Well, I don't remember making a backup but I might have a long time ago. So it "SHOULD" be safe to delete? Quote Link to comment

If it's your actual appdata or CA backup destination then there's a bug Sent from my LG-D852 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
flashman1207
I recently installed this plugin and ran a scan. It suggested that I needed to change for permissions of 0777 on shares so I went ahead and did it. Ever since then, when Sabnzbd downloads something the Unrar fails. I get message: Error "[Errno 13] Permission denied" while unpacking RAR files I have checked the permissions of the /mnt/user/Media/Temp Downloads folder where completed downloads go and it says: drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 4096 Jul 14 21:00 Temp\ Downloads/ /mnt/cache/.sabnzbd/Downloads /incomplete says drwxrwxrwx 79 nobody users 4840 Jul 14 17:46 incomplete/ What has happened here? I'm a Linux noob so be gentle...thx Its worse than I thought... I had to restart SAB, Sickbeard etc but nothing will start. Just get: Start failed. No PID created Unraid Log says things like: Jul 14 21:28:18 tower emhttp: cmd: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/Sickbeard/scripts/rc.Sickbeard buttonstart Jul 14 21:28:21 tower sudo: root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/ ; USER=nobody ; COMMAND=/bin/bash -c . /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common/Sickbeard/startcfg.sh; python /usr/local/Sickbeard/SickBeard.py --daemon --port 8081 --datadir /mnt/cache/.sickbeard --pidfile /var/run/Sickbeard/Sickbeard.pid > /dev/null 2>&1 & Jul 14 21:28:39 tower sudo: root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/usr/local/emhttp ; USER=nobody ; COMMAND=/bin/bash -c . /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common/Sickbeard/startcfg.sh; git --git-dir=/usr/local/Sickbeard/.git rev-parse HEAD Jul 14 21:28:42 tower sudo: root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/usr/local/emhttp ; USER=nobody ; COMMAND=/bin/bash -c . /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common/Sickbeard/startcfg.sh; python --version 2>&1 Jul 14 21:28:42 tower sudo: root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/usr/local/emhttp ; USER=nobody ; COMMAND=/bin/bash -c . /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common/Sickbeard/startcfg.sh; sqlite3 --version 2>&1 Jul 14 21:28:42 tower sudo: root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/usr/local/emhttp ; USER=nobody ; COMMAND=/bin/bash -c . /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common/Sickbeard/startcfg.sh; git --version 2>&1 Jul 14 21:28:42 tower sudo: root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/usr/local/emhttp ; USER=nobody ; COMMAND=/bin/bash -c . /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common HELP PLEASE !!!! CHBMB
flashman1207, have you asked PhaZe as well? He's probably got a good knowledge of what perms are required for each plugin and why I suggested letting both the plugin authors know. Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
flashman1207
I have uninstalled everything and then reinstalled it all. Still having some issues with Couchpotato as I was trying to copy the database from the old one but it wont start with it but not the end of the world..... So all good now, wont be applying any permissions stuff EVER again Quote Link to comment

remotevisitor
Another suggestion for a check that I cannot see in the list of checks done ...... The use of legacy IDE disk interface. I have noticed that this is a frequent observation when people's syslogs are examined for problems. Quote Link to comment
wgstarks
I recently initiated an unclean shutdown via ipmi when trying to access the bios menu on my system. Now FCP keeps notifying me of my idiocy. I know I screwed up. How do I stop FCP from bringing it up constantly? Already have a wife for that. Quote Link to comment
Squid
just go into FCP and acknowledge the error Quote Link to comment
wgstarks
just go into FCP and acknowledge the error Actually, I tried that but the notice didn't go away, so I used "Ignore". Did I screw up again? Quote Link to comment

The acknowledge button would have disappeared. At that point, a rescan (or the next scheduled scan) wouldn't have bugged you about it. If you want to receive notifications again about it, just hit monitor error next to it in the ignored section Quote Link to comment

wgstarks
No. Just a popup that the scan is running. Quote Link to comment
Squid
Once the pop up disappears (ie tests are finished should only take a minute or so) the ignored section should appear Quote Link to comment
