Check under Settings->Unassigned Devices that you actually have it set to make SMB shares from UD visible on the network.

I did not set the 'No' to 'Public' as I thought 'No' ment no security and public access which is oviously not the case.
Switching to public did it! Thanks a lot for guiding me through this!

It looks as if it temporarily dropped offline and then came back online.  The device Id changed and Unraid does not handle this.

I am trying to install the Unassigned Drives Plus addon and I keep getting this error. I must be missing something somewhere.

Maybe a problem with your Unraid flash drive.

What do you get from command line with this?

df -h

Thanks!

Didn't notice anything, maybe @dlandon will know.

I am attempting to reformat an UD with partitions using this tutorial from Spaceinvader One. However, I'm running into an issue where I can't write to the UD after partitioning the drive.

I've tried clearing the disk, removing the disk, and deleting it from the historical devices to no avail. I can't write to either partition via Krusader.

Appreciate any assistance here!

Try deleting the /flash/config/plugins/unassigned.devoces-plus/ folder and try to install again.

Does it work if you format it with UD?

You set user permissionn in UD Settings.  You can also select share 'Yes (hidden)'.

Is it the "Format" button shown here? Or a different method?

I was having a similar issue. Was a permissions issue in a place I least expected. Check the permission on the device disk itself. For some odd reason, mine were reset back to only root having access and Group and Other were set to NO ACCESS, instead of read-write.

I see. Still having the issue writing to the disk after having partitioned through UD.

Mount the UD disk and give me the output of 'mount' command from a command line.

You are mounting the disk with the 'discard' option set.  It would be better to not do that and install the "Dynamix SSD Trim" plugin and trim on a schedule.

'mount' output:

/dev/sdb1 on /mnt/disks/sdb1 type xfs (rw,noatime,nodiratime,discard)

Dynamix SSD Trim is already installed.
