Hallo zusammen, ich hatte gestern ein SMB Problem, selbst nach einem Neustart ging es leider nicht, dass ich Dateien in die SMB Freigabe schieben. Dann habe ich geshcaut ob ich via WinSCP auf die Freigabe komme, ging. Daher habe ich meine Dateien vom PC via WIN SCP auf die Freigabe geschoben. Dann heute morgen kam das böse erwachen, nichts mehr war in der Freigabe drinn , im Log steht auch nichts dass was gelöscht wurde, im Papierkorb Recycle Bin unter den Einstellungen ist auch nichts zu sehen, dass was gelöscht wurde, bzw es ein Protokoll hier gibt. Im SMB Ordner ist ja auch oft ein Ordner mit gelöschten Daten, diesen gibt es hier auch nicht. Leider habe ich genau von diesem Ordner kein externes Beckup... Gibt es noch irgendeine Chache, dass ich die Daten mit der Paritätsplatte ggf wieder herstelle ? Neustart hat nichts gebraucht übrigens , dachte es hat sich ggf nur was verhakt. Bin gerade mit version 6.12.8 unterwegs. Gibts Ratschläge oder muss ich mich damit einfach abfinden ? Danke vielmals für Hilfestellung 😊

Hello again, To whom i may concern: I finally solved my issue. I have resetted my bios to the defaults, and reactivated the minimum option i needed to use the Virtualization, and since then unraid and my UHD630 have been running smoothly. My best bet is that i had an option activated in the bios that made the energy saving mode of the uhd630 unstable, but i have not been able the specific option that causes the issue. I will now mark the issue has solved.

It is unfortunate that the Unraid team has abandoned this key feature. Considering the thousands of views over the last 18 months on your post (and several others on similar SMB/AD/Permission issues) you would think it would gather some attention. It's likely most users have moved on to other solutions, unfortunately.

Following your suggestion here's what I got I confirm no docker is taking the :80 port and I'm not running any VMs. so isof command shows one instance - tailscale docker, and i killed it. After confirming tailscale is killed using lsof command again (nothing shows up), I tried to start nginx but it still showed address in use.... btw i also tried lsof -i:445 and the output is as follows in case it helps with your further diagnose. Kindly let me know if I followed all the steps correctly? Thank you so much sir!

Wie hast du die externe in Unraid eingebunden? Hast du sie mittels Unassigned Devices oder direkt ins Array aufgenommen?

Habe ich auch ausprobiert, da kommt der selbe Fehler. Mit luckybackup das selbe Problem. Ich sichere appdata nun mit appdata plugin und die Daten mit dem Script. Damit scheint es nun keine Probleme zu geben.

Ich würde gerne automatisch in gewissen Zeitabständen ein Verzeichnis von meinem Unraid Server auf eine Externe HDD sichern und habe mir dazu Luckybackup als Docker installiert. Die Externe schaltet sich automatisch mittels Smarthome Steckdose ein und aus, kann Luckybackup so konfiguriert werden das nach dem Backup die externe ge-unmountet wird? Und in Luckybackup kann ich die externe HDD nicht sehen obwohl sie gemountet ist. Unter /mnt sehe ich komischerweise nur die "disk2" und mein "user" Ordner, "disk1" fehlt da auch. Wo finde ich die? Noch eine kleine Zusatzfrage : kann ich die externe HDD nicht in Unraid formatieren? Dazu finde ich auch irgendwie nix Danke für die Hilfe!

In dem Fall muss ich damit klar kommen, dass ich 30 Sekunden Wartezeit habe. Und genau da liegt dann auch mein Problem... Ich muss mal schauen, was genau die App zum Start macht und ob irgendeine Form von Indexing stattfindet (muss ja eigtl.) und ob dadurch die Platten geweckt werden. Aber vielen Dank euch!

Hi all, I need some help please, I've been running binhex-qbittorrentvpn for awhile and has been good until this morning. Upon opening the Webui I get the message: This site can’t be reached, 192.168.0.118 refused to connect. I do not use a VPN. I have tried restarting the docker and the server but no luck and also deleted the config file. The setting and ports seem correct, I think. I've searched other threads but cant seem to get anything to work. Please advise. Sorry i`m just a noob Thanks

Yes thx all to try to help me. I dunno why some time is not work. I Make fresh unraid and smb not work no matter what i do. I do format drive make all setup again (a that same way like previos) is work instant.

Hallo, ich bin von OMV (RAID 1) auf Unraid umgestiegen und habe dazu auch meine beiden 2x 6TB aus dem vorherigen OMV RAID 1 (also schon einige Betriebsstunden auf dem Buckel) eingebunden. Unraid besteht aus (siehe auch Screenshot): Parity 1 = 20 TB Toshiba Parity Datenträger 1 = 6 TB WD Red (1. Platte des früheren OMV RAID 1) Datenträger 2 = 6 TB WD Red (2. Platte des früheren OMV Raid 1) Datenträger 2 = 18 TB Toshiba Cache = 1x 1 TB Cruzial NVME VM = 1x 1TB Cruzial NVME Problem, die erste, vollere (damals 87%) der alten WD Red hatte auf einmal sehr viele Fehler (1386) siehe Hardcopy! Um den Problem und das mit der "Überfüllung" von 87% bei eingestellten 75% HighWater entgegen zu wirken, habe ich per "Dynamix File Manager" ganz bequem die Daten per Drag and Drop von den 2x 6 TB WD Reds auf die 18 TB Toschiba kopiert und anschließend gelöscht. Verschieben wählte ich nicht, da mir das bei den Fehleranzahl zu heikel war. Ziel soll sein, die 2 WD Reds (nacheinander, nicht gleichzeitig) mal mit PreClear zu prüfen um sie a) eventuell weiter zu verwenden b) sie gegen neue HDDs zu ersetzen. Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir folgen, wie oder was mache ich das jetzt am besten? Was mir aber auch auffiel: Nachdem ich das vor geraumer Zeit schon per Dynamix File Manager umkopiert habe auf den 3. Datenträger des Arrays (18 TB Toschiba) sind neue Daten immer auf die 3. Platte (18 TB Toschiba) geschrieben worden, obwohl HighWater eingestellt ist. Ich ging davon aus, die geleerten WD Reds werden wieder zuerst voll geschrieben, bevor wieder was auf die 3. Platte (18 TB Toshiba) geschrieben wird. Auch sind immer noch Daten aus appdata auf Datenträger 2 system auf Datenträger 1 (die mit den 1386 Fehlern) Bin Unraid Anfänger und würde mich über jegliche Hilfe freuen. Gruß MIke

In terms of installing, all I did originally was install the AIO docker. I left everything on default. This created several volumes in `/mnt/user/system/docker/docker/volumes`. That was with using a directory instead of a vDisk (meaning there were other folders such as `/mnt/user/system/docker/docker/btrfs`. Now, I'm using a vDisk and have that in `/mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img`. What I don't have is a `volumes` folder next to it into which I could copy my existing files from the original install.

Wanted to post back in case anyone else is looking. Gameyfin is working great and exactly what i was looking for. Makes it way easy for LAN parties to share my game library without having to give access to the server via windows Explorer. It fetches metadata for IGDB, and allows you to see what oyu have. You can then "Download" it to your computer via browser as a zip file and then you unzip/install the game. Its a great browser and thats it. You cannot modify the metadata though which is unfortunate, but its better than nothing right now. Gamevault looks promising in the future to be a "Steam" for at home. Will keep an eye on it as it develops and they move away from RAWG for metadata as that website is no longer maintained/accessible.

Your flash drive was corrupted. @Frank1940 gave you some steps to fix it.

Have you explored the tips in the powertop thread? Disks spin down? What happens if you run without the video card? What card are you running for SATA ports? I have a 5600x on x570d4u / 32gb 3200ecc, 5 disks, 5 SSD, 1 nvme, x710 dual SFP+, 11 fans, USB device reading power meter, asm1166 SATA card... With all dockers running but disks spin down and IPMI plugged in, home assistant running... Idle mean is 41-42w, absolute minimums 37.5 or so. HA seems good for a few W on its own. Measured with a Shelly.

I don't really understand your question. If you followed the guide for setting up aio your data are on a share outside of docker file. probably /mnt/user/aio/data The best way would probably be to restore your borg backup. I had to restore once. After setting up the mastercontainer you restore the backup. I don't think you can reinstall all dockers with your data and databses without using borg.
