for added info. I just cleared all my docker, switch from docker.img to directory, cleared all my route and custom network, rebooted, and dockers from ich777 all can't have steamcmd working. If I take another steamcmd docker from someone else, it work. But I know Ich777 one's work cause they work on my other unraid................

I finally solved it, although it didn't fix the main issue I had before all of that happen though

so, I just removed all my custom network, reset my docker (switched to directory), reboot, reinstall everything. Same problem.......... I really don't get it

I feel like something is wrong here

Hello everyone, I have a docker container problem thus I wanted to recreate my docker.img file. Doing so, I forgot to take a backup of my configuration, specially my custom networks. Because of that, when I restore my apps from the previous apps tab, nothing is working. Is it possible to restore this from a backup? I use CA Backup/restore app to backup USB and libvrt + all appdata. THank you

I tried with only ich777/steamcmd:latest with ./steamcmd.sh as a test, yield same result. Weird that only this docker on this server does that, not on my other server and not other docker image. I validated images ID and are the same on both server

docker.img simply because it was the default setting when I started using unraid years ago. And since it was all new to me, I didn't wanted to modify to much stuff. rebooted server and router. nerdtool only have tmux and unrar package installed

didn'T worked I deleted all image that were from you, when I downloaded ark back it downloaded all layers. And when it started, same problem edit: yup 6.11.5

That'S what I'm thinking right now. Since it's working on my other instance of unraid and it's also working from someone else steamcmd docker I found and try. Delete time. At least, it's less painfull then redoing docker.img

Hello everyone, I have an unraid server on 6.11.5 that is running multiple docker. Some of them are steam game server from ich77. These docker start steamcmd, download the game then start the game. For the last week, the server doesn't appear in the game server browser. Upon looking at the log, I saw that it fail to start Steam. I tried creating a new server with all new files and steam fail with error I tried disabling unbound and pihole, didn't help. I tried with my backup server and everything is working fine, creating a new server make steam connect, update then download the game. I tried doing ping in these dockers and I can ping google no problem. I created a Windows 10 VM and ran steamcmd, it worked. I tried all different network type on the dockers and they all yield the same result. If I check from online if the server are up with server tester, they are up so I know internet does go through. Nothing changed in the past week. The only thing I did is try to use steam-headless and a debian docker to make a remote steam play but wasn't working (And I removed/delete everything). What setting in unraid could make this server not have steamcmd able to connect to the internet anymore? All other docker are working fine. Thank you!

Thats what I tried, I renamed the folder so it created a new one. It was downloaded and now I get this message. Very weird. Only thing that happen is a power outage maybe a week ago (but all server gracefully shutdown due to ups). Very weird. edit: I also found out that my conan exile server is identified as invalid. Ark server are showned in lan only and working, Valheim server are nowhere to be found. O_O re-edit: I just tried disabling unbounb and pihole (just incase something went wrong in the past week) and it didn't solved it edit again! I just compared both steamcmd and the backup, normal they have different files? edit back: yeah it's normal since it doesn't download.... I don't get why it doesn't download Edit yet again: I just tried to create a new conan server, new steamcmd folder, new basedir and I connected it to bridge (just wanted to see if it would download). Ended with the same error + error saying conansandbox folder doesn't exist (since steam couldn't run). I'm really out of clues :( More edit: I have 2 unraid installation, just tried on the other unraid and everything is fine... What config could do that on my unraid? I've got something weird. All my server doesn'T show anymore in any game list except those that list lan. Nothing changed for the past months. I tried rebooting server, firewall, redoing port forwarding, nothing. Same problem on Valheim, Ark, conan Exiled, V Rising.... Really weird. I did try to setup steam-healess the last week, but it had it's own folder to not touch steamcmd or any other folder. I also played a bit with debian in docker but still shouldn't affect the other docker. Anyone tried Hogwarts Legacy? Since it'S steamdeck compatible, I though it would work. Yesterday it downloaded but when trying to run, I had error activating title. I deleted everything and today when I went to download, it says platform not compatible. It says only Ubuntu with Unity, Gnome or KDE is supported.

Honestly, it's only 10$. It's not because most stuff for phone cost less that it doesn't worth it. Most stuff on phone are bad anyways. You already paid full for the software on the pc, what is 10$ to have an app on all your mobile device.

I'm unsure if it's the CA, it's on the Docker tab that I wasn't seeing any update and it was showing as "not connected" or something like that (don't remember exactly what it was) on the update line instead of "up to date" or "new version".

Hello, I'm unsure if it's just me, but I found out that the template for this apps doesn't include the latest flag. Because of that, the "update" part of unraid didn't work since it wasn't seeing any new version. I added :latest and it downloaded a new version. I saw the samething with another app from same author, qdirstat.

Quick question, does it sync the gravity database? I notice that they don't have the same number of domain in the blocklist unless I sync both gravity at the sametime. I do see a lot of log saying it's sending files when I start a sync on the sender, but the receiver doesn't seems to "read" the new values (Although I did see all other setting getting updated).

to be honest I don't even own the game, a friend just want a server and I was gonna make one for him I think it's a good time to start learning all of that. Last time I played with linux, it was gentoo in the days of pentium 3 where you had to compile everything from scratch, starting with gcc (which took nearly 2 days to complete) in a stage 1 install. This doesn't even "exist" anymore.

Oh I forgot to add, there's an error in the receiver template, the default mode is sender and since it's a hidden value, you don't see it when configuring the template per default.

ok great. I just set it up yesterday. I see everything is getting sync, but is it normal I don't have the same amount of blocked domains? I though this would sync the gravity list when it's updated on the master, but it seems it's waiting on the gravity trigger that I triggered manually after 12 hours or so. There's no error in log from either receiver and sender, and when I look at the sender during a gravity update, it does says it's sending a lots of stuff.
