  1. So I updated the docker to the latest to do the log and for some reason it works fine now. I upgraded and reverted twice a few days ago and it wouldn't take. Not sure what changed but it works with no issues now. Thanks for all your great work!
  2. Have you managed to fix your issue? I rolled the docker back one version and works again for me.
  3. I’m currently using PIA. For whatever it seems like it wasn’t connecting to PIA and would not launch into the web GUI. All plugins that use privoxy thru the docker were reporting connection problems. I am currently running unraid. I will have to do the log file tomorrow as I am currently not home.
  4. Did you install 2.0.4.dev38_g23a48dd01-2-12 version of the docker when it broke? I just rolled back to 2.0.4.dev38_g23a48dd01-2-11 and all is well now.
  5. Last night I updated to 2.0.4.dev38_g23a48dd01-2-12. This seems version does not work for me. I thought maybe it needed the next gen OVPN file but it still would not work. Rolled back to 2.0.4.dev38_g23a48dd01-2-11 and all is working fine now. Is this an issue with the update or am I missing something?
  6. Here is the information to shrinking the array. Add the 14tb as a new drive with XFS and then follow the shrink array procedure to remove the 1 TB.
  7. Configuration can be stored on your single array drive. Most people store their dockers (apps) and VMs on a cache drive or an unassigned device out of the array for better performance. For the time being it will work on your single drive but will prevent that drive from spinning down. You can have it all move to your cache if you get one down the road.
  8. Just an uncommon term for rebuilding. Goes back to Antique mirrors as they go "tarnished" or damaged you could restore them by re-silvering them.
  9. Disk 4 has read and write errors which could be caused by a bad cable. I would check and replace the sata cable if need be and then run an extended SMART. If they errors persist after that I would change the drive.
  10. I assume unraid is working? Dockers can be reinstalled using previous apps in the app store. This should set them up how they were before. However stuff like your plex database would have to be remade unless you have a backup.
  11. You have to setup something to grab the syslog files. I used kiwi syslog server installed as a service on my pc to gather syslog information. Mirror syslog to flash I don't use and by default I believe is should be set to no to prevent excessive wear and tear on your flash drive.
  12. All media should be in the array not be on your cache drive. Use cache should be set to "yes" for your media. This allows you to copy your movie, series etc over to the cache drive without slowing down for parity. When "mover" is run it will copy the media into the array at a later time. Split level of your shares may be what is preventing the data from pushing over into the array.
  13. Once you reboot your diagnostics and syslog are reset. You should setup remote "syslog server" under Settings so that you can save the syslog on another computer on your network.
  14. I guess I should have mentioned UnBALANCE will allow you to scatter the data to the other array disks only if you have enough free space.
  15. Last time I removed a drive. I used unBALANCE to move all the data off the disk I wanted to remove. There are some good videos on YouTube if you have never used unBALANCE. Then followed this procedure. I preferred this method since it allowed me to maintain parity during then entire removal. Obviously MAKE SURE you have the right disk and have no data left on it before proceeding.
  16. If you set up Radarr it will send the torrents to you torrent client. Upon completion your client can be set up to move the files to the download\completed directory. Radarr will then move them automatically to the movies share in the appropriate directory. Plex should see the new file and automatically find the metadata for it. Sonarr will do the same for TV Shows. There is some good videos on youtube. You will want to set up Jackett to deal with indexers. You can of course just make sub directories and copy them over manually.
  17. I have had a similar issue happen in the past. I shutdown put the usb in a windows PC and it detected errors and repaired them. May be worth a shot.
  18. Look up spaceinvader one videos on youtube. Yes you can automate the whole process.
  19. There are torrent clients and firefox in the app store.
  20. Also you will need to change your split level. Right now you can only split the top directory. If you add more episodes of a TV show they would want to go to the same disk. https://wiki.unraid.net/Un-Official_UnRAID_Manual#Split_level You probably want top three levels of directories. If you have a seasons folder then your may want top four.
  21. Your Allocation Method is High-water which will try and fill one disk right up before moving to the next. I use most-free which will take the disk with the most room left. You can change it if you wish. Here is some information on allocation methods. https://wiki.unraid.net/index.php/Un-Official_UnRAID_Manual#Allocation_method
  22. It really depends on how the split level is setup on your user share. Most people around here seem to setup one user share for Movies and another for TV shows. If you click on the SHARES tab you can click on your user share and see what the allocation method and split level is. Better yet post your diagnostics file.
  23. Wouldn't it be faster if I attach the cache drive? The files would copy faster to the cache drive and then would still need to me moved to the array. So not really.
  24. I run my server headless (no monitor) and no keyboard. Anything you need to do can be accessed through the WebGui from any computer in the house on the same network.
