  1. There could always be some data loss after a filesystem repair, it depends how corrupt it is, most times there isn't any or anything relevant, check for a lost+found folder after it finishes.
  2. They have a known issue, but you can just disable monitoring that attribute, I have a pool with seven MX500 running for years without problems.
  3. Btrfs is detecting data corruption, start by running memtest.

  5. Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged before the crash, this usually points to a hardware issue.
  6. Same issue, Realtek driver support has only been iffy with Linux, I would recommend getting an Intel NIC if possible.
  7. Possibly the USB adapter doesn't support over 2TiB.
  8. There is some issue with reading SMART on USB devices, I have a device that works with smartctl without any extra options and still doesn't work with the GUI, mainly the attributes section: smartctl -a /dev/sda smartctl 7.1 2019-12-30 r5022 [x86_64-linux-5.10.21-Unraid] (local build) Copyright (C) 2002-19, Bruce Allen, Christian Franke, www.smartmontools.org === START OF INFORMATION SECTION === Model Family: Crucial/Micron Client SSDs Device Model: CT500MX500SSD1 Serial Number: 1849E1DAED7F LU WWN Device Id: 5 00a075 1e1daed7f Firmware Version: M3CR023 User Capacity: 500,107,862,016 bytes [500 GB] Sector Sizes: 512 bytes logical, 4096 bytes physical Rotation Rate: Solid State Device Form Factor: 2.5 inches Device is: In smartctl database [for details use: -P show] ATA Version is: ACS-3 T13/2161-D revision 5 SATA Version is: SATA 3.3, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 6.0 Gb/s) Local Time is: Sat Nov 13 07:47:17 2021 GMT SMART support is: Available - device has SMART capability. 9. 16 at home counting a couple of test servers plus a small server at work, do I win?

  11. r8169 0000:03:00.0: no dedicated PHY driver found for PHY ID 0xc2077002, maybe realtek.ko needs to be added to initramfs? Driver issue, you could try v6.10-rc2
  12. Not quite clear what you want to do, there are two options: 1) rebuild on top of the old disk, this is usually the recommended option unless the emulated disk is not mounting. 2) do a new config to re-enable the disk but you'll need to re-sync parity. As for the error, the disk dropped offline, this is usually a power/connection problem.

  14. Stock Unraid won't spin down SAS devices, you can try the SAS spin down plugin, for the network issue please post the diagnostics.
  15. Not unless you enable the syslog server.
  16. No, there's no mdadm in Unraid, it was replaced by the custom Unraid driver.

  19. Encryption with Unraid still has some quirks, I don't personally use it but remember seeing other users with similar issues before, feel free to create a bug report.
  20. That post needs updating, but that is only for older releases, without the diags option, just above that:
  21. Disable syslog server.
