  1. Will Unassigned devices someday be able to mount and format zfs-volumes (zvol)?
  2. My guess is that it would be possible to use say an zvol for MinIO storage, but how do I mount that in unraid? I guess I need to do that from terminal as I cant find a way though gui, unassigned devices does not pick up zvols ether (yet)
  3. Znapzend does not seems abandoned, it was latest updated April 12 2023 and is on version 0.21.2, BUT the znapzend plugin in Unraid AppStore seems abandoned as it has not been updated since 2020 and is on version 0.20.0.1 Asked about that in its thread in December with no answer yet
  4. Why not just say what you want to be there and the devs can tell if that is something they have planed or not?
  5. Any chance it will be possible to create zvols with this plugin too?
  6. Thank you! Hmm that I'm not sure how to do. Edit: Found out how to make an zvol Did the same test again, the zvol on the array works just as bad, it even crashed the iscsi as my w10 desktop suddenly reconnected, but Im pretty sure this is NOT the intended way to use an zvol so it makes sense. The one on the ssd mirror on the other hand worked just fine! Saturated the 2.5gig nic so this works just as I hoped for
  7. Hello The way I have it now is a single 8TB drive using Unassigned Drives plugin and using it with the iscsi plugin as an block device over dedicated 2.5gig nic to my w10 desktop. This is working just as expected and full speed. Then I have tried an fileio (diskimage) on my 2*500GB sata ssd zfs-mirror pool, same connection, here I get max 54MB write and 250-300 read Also tried an fileio on an zfs drive in the array, same connection, here I get 6MB write and 2-300MB read. In both cases, if I transfer smaller files, they gets copied instant, I think this is the files may first just get dumped into ram. The way slower for the array drive makes sense as its part of the unraid array and so parity is written at the same time too, but what else this is telling me as the write speeds are way slower than expected in both cases is that iscsi fileio has a massive overhead. Does this seems correct or may it be something missing on my side?
  8. 😮 That seems to remove all the "problems" the log spitted out
  9. I found an post on the urbackup forum that talks about the SQLite errors that goes back to over a year ago. But I made an post about the login thing and no answer on that yet.
  10. Ok, after an backup of my desktop, shutdown of the container, waiting some time because I got busy and then restarting, at first it wont work and throws the same login error, but then I also get some SQLite lines in the log and after a while it works again. The only change I did this time was that I made an admin user and password in the web-gui. The docker image is an btrfs image on an zfs-mirror pool Also looks like it test if the storage (in my case the unraid array, xfs) is ether btrfs or zfs, but both fails. But for some reason, it seems to come back online now, but to me it also seems that the SQLite database gets corrupted? 2023-12-22 20:52:52: WARNING: Shutting down (Signal 15) 2023-12-22 20:52:52: Exited Loop 2023-12-22 20:52:52: Deleting at.. 2023-12-22 20:52:52: Deleting SelectThreads.. 2023-12-22 20:52:52: Deleting lbs... 2023-12-22 20:52:52: Shutting down plugins... 2023-12-22 20:52:52: Deleting server... usermod: no changes 2023-12-22 22:16:52: Starting HTTP-Server on port 55414 2023-12-22 22:16:52: HTTP: Server started up successfully! 2023-12-22 22:16:53: SQLite: recovered 550 frames from WAL file /var/urbackup/backup_server.db-wal code: 283 2023-12-22 22:17:21: WARNING: Error: Unknown action [login] 2023-12-22 22:18:09: SQLite: recovered 50113 frames from WAL file /var/urbackup/backup_server_files.db-wal code: 283 2023-12-22 22:18:09: SQLite: recovered 3 frames from WAL file /var/urbackup/backup_server_link_journal.db-wal code: 283 2023-12-22 22:18:09: SQLite: recovered 35 frames from WAL file /var/urbackup/backup_server_settings.db-wal code: 283 2023-12-22 22:18:09: SQLite: recovered 550 frames from WAL file /var/urbackup/backup_server.db-wal code: 283 2023-12-22 22:18:09: SQLite: recovered 35 frames from WAL file /var/urbackup/backup_server_settings.db-wal code: 283 2023-12-22 22:19:25: SQLite: recovered 50113 frames from WAL file /var/urbackup/backup_server_files.db-wal code: 283 2023-12-22 22:19:25: SQLite: recovered 3 frames from WAL file /var/urbackup/backup_server_link_journal.db-wal code: 283 2023-12-22 22:19:25: Started UrBackup... 2023-12-22 22:19:25: Removing temporary files... 2023-12-22 22:19:25: Recreating temporary folder... 11. Reinstalling the container now, restarted the container, and now it works 😮 But I have not installed the client yet. Installing the client, waiting for backup to be done and will see what happens then I do have ad-blocker, but tried it in Edge where I have no addons installed and same happens there. Before I restarted the container, the Urbackup logs say: "Downloading server version info... Downloading dataplan database..." and nothing else happens in the log it seems, not sure if its supposed to update the log with when its done downloading By container config, do you mean a picture of the container settings or from a file?
  12. If I clean install the container it works fine, but once I stop and restart it, the web-gui wont load and the logs show that error.
  13. After an stop and start of this container, I get the same error as the Binex version: WARNING: Error: Unknown action [login]
  14. I remember I did the change and it did work, but I have not had use for that script for a long time now so dont know
  15. After an reboot I get some errors in the log: Raising maximum file descriptor to 65535 failed. This may cause problems with many clients. (errno=1) Raising nice-ceiling to 35 failed. (errno=1) and when trying to open the web-gui: WARNING: Error: Unknown action [login]
  16. We sadly dont have Amazon here in Norway (or are we lucky?) but i have found some Sata 5pin splitter (1in 4out). So far its going good but if I need I plan to get one or two of them, just not sure how many dives its safe to run on one cable
  17. So how does people get the backblaze docker to work? After 1st boot here it asks to install mono, ok, and after that the VNC connection is just ether an black or white screen only Edit: Found the answer: https://github.com/JonathanTreffler/backblaze-personal-wine-container#installation
  18. So I moved my unraid box over to the define7XL but even though I bough an new Seasonic PSU (needed more sata power anyway and it was one of the few PSU I could find specs on how long the cables are) I still have problems reaching the top and still be able to use all ports. I looked into extensions like CableMod but fast found out they dont make power extensions. All I could find was like 1 to 1 sata extension cables, that sounds a bit messy.
  19. I knew about the other drive was hoping no one else would have problems before I got it replaced 😮 I just changed the PSU so I now have all drives directly on PSU with sata power, but gonna check the cable and the port its connected to
  20. The one with the problems is Disk6. oneroom-diagnostics-20231120-1947.zip
  21. Hello 🙂 I guess this drive is ether proofing soon or connection is bad, but one of my oldest drives (2TB WD green, over 11 years run time) works fine and I can read data from it after an reboot, but after some time it get a handfull of errors and I cant access the data on it, just says "path unavible", but unraid does not put it as disabled 🤔 My guess is that I need to copy the data off it asap.
  22. Did an forced update now with the :latest tag, an now its 10.8.12 Thanks
  23. I used 10.8.10 due to an bug in 10.8.11 but now that 10.8.12 is out it wont update to other than 10.8.11 even if I change the tag to :latest or to :10.8.12-1-01
  24. I got this one yesterday, I guess this is a kind of file that should be excluded as it changes often? Is there a list of filetypes that should be excluded? Tried to search but no luck
