[Support] Linuxserver.io - SWAG - Secure Web Application Gateway (Nginx/PHP/Certbot/Fail2ban)
You do have youtube as a subdomain in the letsencrypt docker right? That might be the cause of the cert error. And yes, the link is for another docker. I've never used it but it seems to make nginx proxy confs easier.

How did you configure your .htaccess file? That's likely where your problem is. You have to allow it to load resources from subfolders (such as css, graphics, etc).

I've been playing around with this for a while now and only had various levels of success... using what you have now if you change the line to this: proxy_pass $upstream_proto://$upstream_app:$upstream_port/youtube-dl; I can get the page to load, but it doesn't load all the graphics, and I don't know if it would actually work either. I'm not sure if the problem is that the youtube-dl-server container runs on http and letsencrypt makes everything https. In one configuration I was trying my nginx error log had a certificate handshake failed because youtube-dl-server had no ssl. But however ngixproxymanager works apparently some other guys got a subdomain to work properly

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud
So in another thread you said you used cloudfare for dns and it set an A name for the DNS, but what about a CNAME as trurl mentioned? My understanding that is with only an A name it doesn't matter what subdomain you use (nextcloud.protech.my, unraid.protech.my, pizza.protech.my) with only an A name set all of those domains will redirect to your IP and Lets Encrypt will only see that you are accessing the host IP (root nginx path). The CNAME tells Lets Encrypt/NGINX that you actually want to access nextcloud, unraid, or pizza and to redirect appropriately. I'm not a DNS expert but that's my understanding of A names and CNAMES, and you said Cloudfare only set an A name for you.

[Support] binhex - Krusader
Well that is an odd one. I just installed fresh versions of krusader to check (binhex-krusader and krusader from djaydev) and went to my CA backup file and it opened in both with no problem. I would reinstall krusader before anything else... I personally like the one from djaydev a little bit more.. and try that. If that fails, you can extract manually from a console window. It's just like working on a Windows command line. cd /mnt/user/appdata/backups --- or where ever your backup file is tar -xvf CA_backup.tar.gz <name of folder> --- this will extract only the folder you want.. it's case sensitive (as is everything in linux) so Plex and plex would be two different folders. It's got to be exactly what the name of your folder is. This will extract it in the same directory as your backup file.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
lol.. he's not totally incorrect. I mean, any group of people for a product will have their devout fanboys that defend their product to no end and if you ask a noob question you get ridiculed. Even Linus Torvalds has been known to go off on different people and about different subjects. That's just internet life...

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud
Honestly at this point I'd say your best bet is to delete everything and start over from scratch --- and also do one thing at a time. Get Nextcloud working properly without using your hostname/dns, and once that is working set it up for the dns name. Mine worked right away with duckdns but that's not the same type of setup that you're using. Maybe that's overkill but when in double start fresh What happens when you try to access the page directly with your (external) IP (and port 444 opened on your router) rather than your dns hostname? And looking a little closer, and thinking about this, since I'm not an expert on these config files... Your Nextcloud is sitting on 444, check. You WANT to access it via regular ssl 443, right? So https://nextcloud.protech.my is the standard ssl port on 443, you DON'T want to access it via port 444 right? ---> https://nextcloud.protech.my:444 So actually I think you just need to change set $upstream_port 443; to 444 because that's where the Nextcloud docker container is sitting.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
A lot of bad things happen when the cache is full, and even though it's supposed to fall back to writing to the array (depending on how the share is set up) I've definitely ran into problems with a full cache drive. So that could have something to do with it. Double check all your share cache settings and make sure they are writing to cache first and to the array if the cache is full. For example, whichever share you have your downloads going to you would probably want to be set to Cache: Yes. This implies the fall back writing to the array if cache is full. As for moving the Plex data... well, the only thing Plex does to the media is create the thumbnails / metadata for the file. So all of that metadata could get to be quite large, which goes back to the size of your cache drive, but it's not like it's creating a duplicate of the actual media file. In either case, you don't 'need' any of the Plex data on the cache drive. I don't really think it makes a difference if the metadata is on the faster cache drive or a slower spinning drive. The files are so small that it's irrelevant. So consider just creating a Plex data share to use instead of appdata on the cache drive and have that share not use cache. Similarly, let's say that the amount of data being downloaded at once was the cause of your problem, you could create a downloads share specific for SABnzbd or whatever tool does your downloading and have that share not on cache also. It's unlikely that you need to use the cache drive for downloads, you're not going to affect the speed of the download by writing to the array directly, I doubt your internet is that fast. All in all, if you've had multiple problems with Unraid then I think you might need to re-evaluate how you're operating on Unraid. You 'might' be doing something wrong

Well yeah that's generally what the restore is for... restoring an entire appdata that was lost. You can extract specific folders though to restore manually as it's only a fancy zip file. You only need the files from appdata\plex\Library\Application Support\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases So I don't know what your process was but here's what I would do to exhaust all options --- before totally freaking out on Unraid for no reason, since it was some kind of error with Plex updating apparently. Stop Plex container. Drop in files from backup archive to plex appdata Start Plex container. Check if it works. If yes... great. If not... repeat with another set of backup files from an older date. The only problem is I don't know if plex does anything to the database on a version update... say for example they added a data field for something.. so the latest version attempts to access the old database and doesn't find what it's looking for..... I don't think they would do that since it would automatically break all old databases but you never know... so you might have to try and roll back your plex container to an older version, if it's possible, using version tags. Did you look at the link I posted for repairing a corrupt database? You might have to play around with that also. Lots of manual work. Or you kill it all and delete the config and start fresh.

UNRAID 6.6.6. unlicenced (cracked) to licenced?
I love .... software .... as much as the next person but I'm not sure how much help limetech would want anyone to give you on this specific problem since not only was the "customer" using a cracked version of their product, but also doesn't seem to really want to purchase a legitimate license. If everything you are saying is true and you are in a tech support role and are billing a client, then I'd strongly suggest that you just buy a license and charge the customer for it since any legitimate tech support would not mess around with cracked software and such. It's the cost of doing business. There's no "if it works I'll buy a license", if they want their system restored they need legit software. That's how you should approach things. A "very good client" should not be against $59 for a basic license. But enough of me telling you how to do things.. But to answer your questions.. a basic license covers 6 devices, so if you have 5 then it should work. You only need the contents of the config directory. This is not generally recommended but I did it last week to defrag my USB disk since I was getting errors in my syslog --- just unplug the USB from the Unraid server and plug it into another system.. and see if you have access to the drive that way. I defragged mine and put it back into my Unraid server and had no problems. Just don't "do" anything on the Unraid server while the usb is removed. Alternatively, if the flash drive was ever set up to be a shared folder, you could try accessing it via SMB (such as \\unraid\flash). But since you apparently have a backup, you can use that to restore to a properly licensed usb drive with the config folder. Just remove any previous invalid license files (trial.key, basic.key, pro.key, etc). If all that fails for some reason, I believe the Unraid wiki has info on what files you REALLY need to restore Unraid... something about super.dat maybe, and disk locations... apps/plugins/dockers can all be recreated with some work.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud
I think your problem might be that you're using 444 as the port for nextcloud, and not 443.. everything else is set for 443. Put nextcloud on 443 and try that.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
Have you 'stopped' the container and restarted it, to see if it's stuck in some kind of boot loop? My Plex is up to date, don't know when the last update was, but is working fine. Some other things you can try ... painfully go through the logs in /mnt/user/appdata/<plex>/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Logs and try to determine what the error is. Plex Media Server.log 1/2/3/4/5 is probably what you need to look at. Double check that your Plex docker config did not get changed somehow and that the /config mount point is still mapped to /mnt/user/appdata/<plex> And if all that fails, it's likely that you have a corrupted database.. so you could try to fix it https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database/ or delete your /config directory and let Plex rebuild everything.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud
The only thing that is different is my files is that I don't have the port on that first address. Mine is simply 0 => '192.168.5.105', (my unraid network IP). A "domain" isn't going to be limited to a specific port, so not sure why it's even in the example file. Everything else is the same in my 2 files.. so it's either that, or something else with how you've configured your dockers.

[Support] binhex - Plex
In the docker configuration, see at the bottom where it says Add another Path, Port, Variable, Label, or Device? ................................ replicate Host Path 3 which is the normal Plex /data directory that houses all the media, which you don't have. Add a path for /Movies, /TV, /Music and set accordingly to your shares. Then in Plex they will be accessed by those paths. You can set them as read only also if you prefer.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Syncthing
Actually your issue may be something totally different ..... all of a sudden my syncthing has stopped working and I cannot get them to connect.. Not sure when Syncthing updated to 1.7.1 or if that's the problem but I cannot get my 2 machines to connect, and I've changed nothing since they were working. Edit -- Yes indeed, I rolled back my docker version to linuxserver/syncthing:v1.6.1-ls37 and it instantly worked again. Something changed leading up to the most recent 1.7.1 that broke the container. Not sure what it could be though.

By the sounds of it there wouldn't be anything "local" when separating machines by using 2 routers. Each router has it's own network and would only be "local" to it's own network. Why don't you want to add one of them as a remote device? Takes the guessing out of it.

[Support] Josh5 - Unmanic - Library Optimiser
I just installed this to test out and first thing I noticed is that other than selecting the codec, there's no method of configuring the quality. Is the quality/resolution of the codecs just arbitrarily selected? What is the conversion actually going to end up being equivalent to? 480p? 720p? 1080p? I don't see anything mentioned anywhere about what the resulting file is actually going to be. Apologies if it's already been addressed somewhere in the last 27 pages, but it seems as though your library is going to be in the preferred format of what Josh5 wants in his library.... I'm going to start converting some files and play around a bit, but it seems that the only difference between this and Handbrake is that Unmanic can scan your existing libraries whereas Handbrake scans a watch directory --- but offers you all the format customization you want. This is not a dis to Unmanic, I'm just wondering about what the codec configuration actually is??

How to properly backup the boot USB and configuration?
So the easiest way is to use the CA Appdata Backup plugin.. it's got an option for the USB drive. Or if for some reason you don't want to use that plugin, you can run a User Script (user scripts plugin :P) to backup your drive also.. I have mine going to a Dropbox share daily. #!/bin/bash /usr/bin/rsync -avXHg --delete /boot/ /mnt/user/Dropbox/unraid_BootUSB_Backup; chmod 777 -R /mnt/user/Dropbox/unraid_BootUSB_Backup; Either of these methods would keep your configuration up to date on a day by day basis. There is also a Flash Backup button under the Main tab that gets you a backup file at the current point in time.

Check For Docker Container Updates - Single Container vs All
I tried searching for any other requests of this nature but didn't find anything, so here goes... I think it would be useful at times to be able to check for updates to a docker container for a single container at a time versus the current "Check For Updates" button that checks all containers. Clicking on the container icon which pops up the menu should have a Check for update option. This would be especially useful for a frequently updated docker that might be going through a period of rapid updates and when you don't really need to check for updates on every container -- especially if you're already using CA Auto Update Applications to check for updates daily.

The USB drive thread?
Late to the party but I +1 for the Sandisk Cruzer Fit, especially for externally plugged in USB slots.. they have minimal casing to damage. It's practically impossible to damage one by hitting it or anything like that because there's not really anything sticking out to hit. I'm not going to argue anything about the quality or usability of Sandisk usbs.. all I know is that I've never had any problems with any Sandisk usbs that I've ever had for any purposes. In fact, when it comes to usb / flash memory in general, Sandisk is my #1 go to... that's my personal opinion and findings.

Trying to setup a Reverse Proxy Nextcloud
Is the network IP to your Unraid server 192.168.15.3 or is it 192.168.1.201? You opened the ports on the router to the .1.201 but the logs are showing the server address as the .15.3. I'd just suggest to make sure you are using the correct IP address for the port forwarding.

Seeking advice for best email backup/archiving solution for unRAID
I have not seen anything that does these things exactly as you want them. The problem as I see it is that you want to use one program (like Thunderbird) for day to day use and then disconnect your backed up archive from Thunderbird to another program to view/search as an independent, separate archive. Too complicated! You'd be better off to set up your day to day use of Thunderbird to store messages offline (therefore creating your own backup archive within Thunderbird), and then backing up your entire Thunderbird profile to Unraid (not for viewing, just for backup purposes). This is basically how I have mine set up. Everything still exists within Thunderbird but I have a backup of my data. You can have Thunderbird run your profile directly off of Unraid so that it's always in somewhat of a backed up state (parity), but I've found that having your profile actively running on an SMB share causes Thunderbird to run a bit slower. I'm about to move my profile back to my local drive and only use Unraid for backup. I tried running it this way so that I could access my email data from any computer, not just my main computer running Thunderbird. Another thing I've tried and works generally fine is having Thunderbird running in a docker container and being able to access that instance of Thunderbird. I did not use a specific Thunderbird docker though. I used VNC Web Browser and manually installed Thunderbird on it, and copied in my existing profile data. Then I can access Thunderbird from a web browser. This works fine also but again is not exactly what you are looking to do. I suppose you could configure two instances of Thunderbird to semi-accomplish what you want. You have your day to day Thunderbird on PC and then this docker Thunderbird to keep an archive of your stuff -- but if you were to do that you might as well just keep everything on your PC Thunderbird to begin with. I guess my question is why don't you guys just want to keep everything in your Thunderbird? It really makes everything easier and just works. I'm open to any other thoughts, input, or ideas about this.. I myself am still trying to find what works best for me as far as running Thunderbird and maintaining data archives / accessibility on multiple pcs.
