F_A_H Posted July 6, 2021 Share Posted July 6, 2021 Hallo zusammen, erst mal danke für die vielen Denkanstöße in der Vergangenheit. Nachdem ich nun einige Tests mit unraid auf verschiedenen Laptop gemacht habe geht es nun daran ein finales System aufzusetzen. Vorhandene Laufwerke: 1x 1TB SSD 2x 10TB IronWolf Pro 1x 3TB Datensicherung (SSD) Ich möchte das System so einrichten das die 1. 10TB als parität nach ersbefüllung und die 2. - Xte als Datengrab dient. Auf der SSD möchte ich alles was läuft haben, z.b. VM, Nextcloud, Werbeblocker, Firewall usw.. Auf der 10 TB nur Daten, die sich hinterher so gut wie nicht mehr verändern und nur noch bis auf wenige ausnahmen lesend zur Verfügung stehen. Ich möchte die 10 TB Daten nach und nach erweitern mit weiteren platten. Meine Herausforderung wo ich nicht weis wie? Ich möchte nur 3-4 Freigaben haben die sich mit jeder neuen HDD dynamisch erweitern. Das Gleiche möchte ich mit der SSD machen immer mal wieder von Zeit zu Zeit eine dazustecken, falls der Speicher zu knapp wird für die VM usw.. Wie muss ich das richtig konfigurieren, dass das hinterher so auch funktioniert inkl. eigener HDD für eine Sicherung der SSD. Du definierst Dir die (3-4) User Shares, die Du gerne hättest. Dort legst Du jeweils fest, dass das Share sich über alle Disks im Array erstreckt. Kommt eine HDD hinzu, steigt die Gesamtgrösse des Array und alle "betroffenen" Shares partizipieren davon. Wie muss ich das richtig konfigurieren, dass das hinterher so auch funktioniert inkl. eigener HDD für eine Sicherung der SSD. das ist schon etwas kniffliger, bzw da hast Du mehrere Optionen. 1. zunächst getrennte (Cache-)Pools für VMs und Docker (und für Daten-Cache der User Shares) - also einen neuen Pool über neue SSDs bereitstellen. 2. bestehende Pools erweitern (BTRFS-Raid0 oder einen redundanten pool, von raid1 auf raid10 - dann natürlich mit +2 SSDs in dieesem raid1->raid10 pool) 3. bei VMs die vdisk auf einen dedizierten, anderen Pool (auch aus Disk gfls neu erstellen) legen 4. bei VMs SATA-Controller komplett durchreichen 5. bei VMs Platten-Pfade komplett durchreichen, siehe: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/VM_Management#Using_a_physical_disk_in_a_VM.2C_including_one_with_an_OS_already_installed Quote Wie kann ich das Testsystem zurücksetzen (Werkreset), ohne das die Lizenz verloren geht? Wenn du ja eine zweite 1TB SSD verbaust und ein RAID1 erstellst, hast du ja immer noch 1TB. Vom Prinzip brauchst du also 3x 1TB SSDs und ein RAID5 um mehr Speicherplatz zu erhalten. Oder du wählst ein RAID0 und machst regelmäßige Backups auf eine der HDDs im Array. Wobei ich es dann einfach bei einzelnen SSDs belassen würde. Also zwei Pools mit jeweils einer SSD und du wählst dann eben die Pfade der VMs so aus, dass manche davon eine andere SSD nutzen. Wobei es eher nervig ist große VDisks zu haben, weil die meisten Apps meist nur die komplette VDisk sichern können. Daher finde ich den Weg aus diesem Video besser, wo eine SSD physisch durchgeschliffen wird und wenn die VM heruntergefahren wurde, dann kann man auf die einzelnen Dateien der SSD zugreifen und eine inkrementelle Sicherung erstellen: Quote Link to comment

Vorhandene HDD 1x 1TB SATA WD Blue hier sollen alle sachen wie VM, Nextclaud, oder Docker drauf laufen. Zur Datensicherung habe ich hier eine 3 TB HDD vorgesehen. 1x 10TB IronWolf Pro als Parity & 1x 10TB IronWolf Pro für das Datenarray mit den Freigaben z.B. Musik, Filme und Bilder. Hier wird nur lesend zugegriffen. In welchem Menue muss ich wass einstellen, um das so umzusetzen ? welche option brauche ich wo ? Diese sind in den Grundeinstellungen beim Cache auf "Prefer" eingestellt und damit ist es bereits genauso wie du es willst. Es wird empfohlen alle Shares beim Caching auf Yes zu stellen, damit du beim Upload auf den Server von der energiesparenden und latenzarmen SSD profitierst. Ich habe einfach den USB Stick mal temporär an einen Windows PC angestöpselt und einfach alle Dateien/Verzeichnisse kopiert. Ist ja nicht viel. Damit sollte alles auch wieder zu finden sein, selbst wenn die Unraidmaschine und seine Disks/SSD versterben. 1 Quote Link to comment

Seit ich mit dem befüllen angefangen habe gestern ist die Kiste ca 5x neu gestartet, ich konnte die Kopie jedes mal wieder fortsetzen. Was auch extrem nervig ist, das die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit nur bei ca. 75 Mb/s liegt, bin ich so von meiner Qnap nicht gewohnt. Der gesamte Syslog, mit den Ereignissen vor diesem Start ist interessnat und sollte auf dem USB-Stick sein. ...und bitte als echte Datei anhängen, nicht als Quote/code in den Thread....dann kann mal auch mal suchen Interessant wäre alles, wo eine Zeile ein "rro" (Error) oder "arn" (Warning) beinhaltet.....häng einfach alles hier rein (Diagnostics ZIP). Ausser das man sieht, dass Du eben den Syslog jetzt für die Ablage auf dem Stick aktiviert hast...gut! Wenn es wieder mal geknallt hat, mache bitte das Gleiche nochmal/erstelle das Zip. Im Zip, im Ordner "logs" findest Du den "syslog.txt". Bitte prüfe dann mal, ob diese Datei im ZIP die vom USB Stick ist, bevor Du dann das ZIP hier anhängst. Quote Link to comment

Wenn ich die HDD`s in einen anderen Computer stecke ist es dann egal an welchen SATA-Anschlüssen sie Sind oder müssen es exakt die gleichen Ports sein?
