rodroll Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Thanks Pinion for the ideas - not sure what you mean by running it with the stock go file - ill look into it a little later. however if you believe I shouldn't run plugins at the moment then that is not great, however I will look int this Thanks Link to comment
trurl Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 ...Parity - This is always orange is this correct ?... Parity is not always orange. Since you have been having unclean shutdowns it is probably still trying to complete a parity sync. Your syslog seems to indicate you are running out of memory. If you want a stable system I suggest you revert to stock and let your parity sync complete. Link to comment
rodroll Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Hi thanks for the feedback I have heard this twice now what does stock mean - no pluggins ? I think you are correct I have looked at my system setting for transmission and seems to be down loading to //downloads ? would this be the ram drive that may be filling up and causing it to die? I can tell you however that my parity sync has finished and it is all fine however cache and all the shares on it are still showing up as orange- what can I do here ? Thanks Rod Link to comment
rodroll Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 I just saw your link ill do that now thanks Rodroll Link to comment
trurl Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Orange on cache and cached shares just means there are files that have not been moved off cache yet. Cache-only shares will always be orange. Link to comment

Did you revert to stock? Is your go file exactly: #!/bin/bash # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & You don't run the go file. After following the instructions to revert to stock you should do a clean shutdown and reboot. Link to comment
rodroll Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Hi I have done this, however now on reboot it comes up with a whole lot of issues saying it can find find files that it is looking for under config, it also fails to load smbd on nmbd so my servers is not up and running at all with out direct terminal access, what should I do from here. I have checked to make sure the go file was correct Link to comment
pinion Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 If your go file is stock and you're not running any plugins but still having problems you should post your latest problems with your system log to the general support section. You might get a broader range of people who can answer you there. Link to comment

rodroll Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 I understand your point. However I now have a system that is not running at all. I can't telnet to it or see it unless I use the ip address. I seemed to have gone from a machine that was running some of the time to one that is lot running at all. I am not sure how I can post a Sys.log fine now if it is failing to even load correctly. I really need help to get it back to where it was so I can at least have that as a starting point. I have tried renaming the extras folder to what it was and it is still failing to load. PLEASE HELP!! Link to comment

Orbi Posted March 12, 2013 Share Posted March 12, 2013 Hi. User EMKO noticed that Simplefeatures and Sabnzbd install two different versions of openssl: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12698.msg231583#msg231583 We both experience SF gui instability while using sabnzbd. After removing openssl 0.9.8 from the sabnzbd.plg and package folder and restarting the server, SF gui seems to remain responsive. I have tested this now for 10h, it's still responsive. dikkiedirk Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 I tried to install the latest sickbeard today, but it won't start. I get this error when enabling/installing it in unraids webgui: Warning: parse_ini_file(/boot/config/plugins/sickbeard/sickbeard.cfg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/sickbeard/sickbeard.php on line 2 What can be wrong here? AeroSteveO Posted March 22, 2013 Share Posted March 22, 2013 It could also be a problem running the transmission plugin, my server was getting kernel panics when transmission was running for a few hours, I ended up setting up a VM for my torrents, running rtorrent in ubuntu,. jus7incase Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Hi Influencer, Thanks a lot for the SABSuite plugins and your dedication with supporting them! I have the following situation: SAB is up and running properly. SickBeard works like a charm together with SAB already. (Haven't tried Headphones and mylar yet). After configuring CPv2 I have the problem that I cannot add any wanted movies. When I type a movie name in, it will look for the movie and ask for the desired resolution. When I tell CP to add the movie the spinner will spin forever and I get the following error in the log (tried to add "Alien"): http://pastebin.com/LP4yQLue Thanks for caring, JC Link to comment

Ockingshay Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 I have an interesting issue that i've only just noticed with sick beard. Hope it's easy to fix?! I use torrents and so the black hole method where it downloads to a certain folder and sickbeard picks it up and processes it. Now becuase it's torrents i have ticked "keep original files", (so i can seed) and also "scan and process", (so that it can do it's thing). (this is where i think the issue is arising and i need another way of doing it). Every 10 minutes SB scans the folder, sees there is stuff in there and then processes it over and over and over. Ordinarily i presume that this is the norm, so because it checks the destination folder and sees that it's already processed it, it leaves it alone. But it's not, it's processing it and overwriting the files that has already been processed. This then has a knock on affect of engaging pled media server to rescan for new content once finished (as it's designed to do). it also keeps my drives alive and does a lot of writing to the array which i don;t like. in SB log it states: Mar-24 19:41:08 DEBUG POSTPROCESSER :: Deleting file Mar-24 19:41:08 DEBUG POSTPROCESSER :: This download is marked a priority download so I'm going to replace an existing file if I find one Mar-24 19:41:08 DEBUG POSTPROCESSER :: Is ep a priority download: True Mar-24 19:41:08 DEBUG POSTPROCESSER :: SB snatched this episode so I'm marking it as priority How do i stop this/how do other people have this set up as i need to change something?? cheers EDIT* It looks like the problem is that its not really designed to post process and keep the files. So i think that as i have the capacity it should, once the download completes copy the file to another folder that sickbeard can scan, process and then delete. Does anybody have something that can facilitate in copying the file, so that once complete it automatically triggers a file copy? Link to comment
MRA45 Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Below is a simple shell script I created to copy files into the SB processing directory. First, it checks to see if the file is actually in the download directory. Second, because I do not want every torrent copied into the SB processing directory, it only copies files that have been downloaded into my dedicated seed directory. #!/bin/sh if [ -e "$TR_TORRENT_DIR/$TR_TORRENT_NAME" ] && [ "$TR_TORRENT_DIR" == "/mnt/user/Seed" ]; then cp -R "$TR_TORRENT_DIR/$TR_TORRENT_NAME" "/mnt/user/Seed/1Process" 2>/dev/null fi you also have to modify the settings.json file to "script-torrent-done-enabled": true, "script-torrent-done-filename": "/mnt/user/appdata/transmission/post.sh", Link to comment
MortenSchmidt Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 I installed both the Sabnzbd plugin, but it fails to shut down when I try to stop the array. Invoking /etc/rc.d/rc.sabnzbd stop does nothing and produces no output. I have traced the problem to the way the script detects the right port to use, and specifically, then using https, the stop function will be trying to look for a pid file named from the non-https port. The following section in rc.sabnzbd needs to change: # read our configuration source /boot/config/plugins/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.cfg if [ -e $DATADIR/sabnzbd.ini ]; then PORT=`cat "$DATADIR/sabnzbd.ini" | grep '^port' | awk 'NR==1' | cut -d' ' -f3 | tr -d '\r'` else PORT=`cat /boot/config/plugins/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini | grep '^port' | awk 'NR==1' | cut -d' ' -f3 | tr -d '\r'` fi Change To: # read our configuration source /boot/config/plugins/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.cfg if [ -e $DATADIR/sabnzbd.ini ]; then HTTPS=`cat "$DATADIR/sabnzbd.ini" | grep 'enable_https' | cut -d' ' -f3` if [ $HTTPS = 0 ]; then PORT=`cat "$DATADIR/sabnzbd.ini" | grep '^port' | awk 'NR==1' | cut -d' ' -f3 | tr -d '\r'` elif [ $HTTPS = 1 ]; then PORT=`cat "$DATADIR/sabnzbd.ini" | grep 'https_port' | cut -d' ' -f3` fi else HTTPS=`cat /boot/config/plugins/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini | grep 'enable_https' | cut -d' ' -f3` if [ $HTTPS = 0 ]; then PORT=`cat /boot/config/plugins/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini | grep '^port' | awk 'NR==1' | cut -d' ' -f3 | tr -d '\r'` elif [ $HTTPS = 1 ]; then PORT=`cat /boot/config/plugins/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini | grep 'https_port' | cut -d' ' -f3` fi fi I copied the https-port detection scheme from the plugin file itself and adapted to the rc script. Here's to hoping the author will implement these changes in the plugin file! Link to comment
MortenSchmidt Posted March 26, 2013 Share Posted March 26, 2013 Actually, strike that. Not a god idea. Will have to be fixed some other way - probably best to disable the detection of https altogether or stop naming the pid file with the port suffix. Link to comment
