Sent from my SGP771 using Tapatalk Yup, Latest update fixed the issue for me also Does this mean that there haw been an additional CrashPlan update since Just updated the crashplan docker and it is not starting. This is what the logs show over and over and that the 2nd fix took care of whatever the issue was in the first fix, or does it mean that it took 2 installs of the first (and only recent) fix to make it work? Also, what's been fixed/updated? I'm only 48GB into a 1TB photo backup, and it took several days for CP to settle itself down and actually start making progress. I don't want to kill off the backup if it's for something minor that won't really impact me. Many, many thanks to gfjardim for getting this docker working in the first place! Quote Link to comment

Probably the first build was broken and gfjardim did a new build to fix that. Don’t know if there are any specific changes other that the container now has the latest release (4.8.0) of the CrashPlan app. Suggest updating, regardless the CrashPlan app will auto-update itself to the latest version. There is an update to the CP docker and the update to the docker should not affect what you have already uploaded. when CP starts it should scan what has already been uploaded and start where it left off I've been running CP from my Win7 client for a couple of years, I know it will pick up where it left off (though I realize that wasn't obvious from what I posted). Unfortunately, when I went from Win7 to Win10, it didn't want to pick up the hard-links to unRAID... Anyway, for the first 4-5 days once I got CP running via this docker, it kept restarting the backup. i.e. I would look at it at the end of the day and it would say it had backed up 1234 files @ 1.2GB. The next morning, it would report 324 files @ 458MB (numbers for illustrative purposes only. I was confused, so I started making screen shots and it was definitely going backwards in its completion numbers). That's what I meant by "settle itself down". I know I've got a massive number of photos for it to backup, and that it's going to take a while, I'm just a little gun-shy about having it rescan and attempt to pick up where it left off again - I don't want to go through another week of restarts while it figures itself out. I've got a lot of other stuff that I want to get added into the backup set, but the photos are the most important. Once that share has completely backed up, I'll add the other stuff in. Don’t know if there are any specific changes other that the container now has the latest release (4.8.0) of the CrashPlan app. Thanks for the info, Leifgg. At this point, I'll probably let it run on v4.7 for a while longer due to the reasons listed above. Does anyone know if there would be a real issue with running with the older client? I know that it would auto update itself on Windows, and that it did run pretty smoothly. Quote Link to comment
AndrewT
I installed gfjardim/logitechmediaserver and scanned my music in, but I can't figure out why it isn't able to play music through the port 9000. Here are my mappings: 3483/tcp 10.0.1.30:3483 3483/udp 10.0.1.30:3483 9000/tcp 10.0.1.30:9000 9090/tcp 10.0.1.30:9090 /config /mnt/cache/appdata/LogitechMediaServer/ /music /mnt/user/Music/ I initially had /config to /mnt/user/appdata/LogitechMediaServer/ but tried this new mapping to see if it was the issue I haven't used LMS in a couple years but I thought you were able to play music directly from logging into that port that brings up the LMS web interface? I used to have an iOS device with iPeng (~$10) and worked perfectly but now with Android I've tried apps: Squeezer, Squeeze Commander, and Squeezebox but am unable to connect to the server:9000 Quote Link to comment

I was able to connect via port 9000 (eg, Http://myserveripaddress:9000), but now I get no response on any of my computers. (Oddly, my Squeezebox still connects and plays fine...but none of my computers do.) Without having access to the web interface, I can't get it to look for new and changed music and I can't reconfigure anything. I removed the docker container and reinstalled. That did not work. Perhaps there's a setting in the Appdata somewhere that's causing the issue? I'll try this weekend to also remove all the appdata and then remove and reinstall the container to see what happens. The current log lists information from a current "Christmas" playlist, which means the LMS must have gotten this info from the previous appdata. I don't have time to remove the appdata and reinstall now, though. And the log doesn't seem to be helpful (has warnings about songs in the playlist...and I don't understand the warnings.) If this does not work, I'll just go back to using LMS on my HT computer...but that means I have to have that computer running all the time (can't put it to sleep or you lose the library). I had a question before about how to use the CUPS docker with my HP 1018 printer. I figured it out so I decided to post the instructions for others (or for myself when I need it). I'm a linux and docker newbie so I'm sure others can improve on the instructions. General steps to make the USB only HP Laserjet 1018 printer a network printer using my unraid server and gfjardim CUPS docker 1) Install gfjardim CUPS docker. 2) I did setup my hp 1018 printer through the CUPS admin pages. Not sure if I should have done this step first or not but it worked. 3) Download the appropriate version of hplip from http://www.openprinting.org/download/printdriver/auxfiles/HP/plugins/. The hp-plugin command will tell you which version. Mine happened to be hplip-3.14.3-plugin.run. Note that I also had hp_laserjet_1018.plugin in the same directory just in case it needed it. 4) Get to the docker command prompt. docker exec -ti CUPS /bin/bash 5) Install the plugin by executing 'hp-plugin'. It should ask you for the location of the hplip-3.14.3-plugin.run file. Mine had errors during the download but it asked if I wanted to install anyway and it did what it was supposed to do. Here is where things get interesting because of my printer. The HP 1018 needs to have firmware downloaded to it everytime the printer turns on. So in my case I'll be leaving CUPS running but the printer will turn on/off during the day. Because of this I need to know when the printer is turned on so that I can run the 'hp-firmware' command automatically. I read some webpages that the docker doesn't receive udev events so for my purposes I just created a rule on the host unraid system to let the docker know to execute the hp-firmware command. 6) On the host computer (not in the CUPS docker), execute a command like this: "udevadm info -a -p /sys/class/usbmisc/lp0". This will give you a ton of items to create a udev rule that will be invoked when the printer is turned on. 7) Review this website to help write the rules: http://www.reactivated.net/writing_udev_rules.html Again on the host computer, I created the document: /etc/udev/rules.d/hp1018_printer.rules This document had the following line: ACTION=="add", SUBSYSTEM=="usbmisc", ATTRS{idVendor}=="03f0", ATTRS{idProduct}=="4117", ATTRS{product}=="HP LaserJet 1018", RUN+="/usr/bin/docker exec CUPS /bin/sh -c '/usr/bin/hp-firmware -n -y3'" 9) Executed this command with the idea for the server to refresh its rules and take mine into account. "udevadm control -R" 10) Turned off/then back on the printer and it worked. 11) Created a printer on my windows 10 machine using these instructions: http://www.zedt.eu/tech/windows/installing-an-ipp-printer-in-windows-10/ It was not easy to get to this point (and frankly the printer/setup isn't really worth it now a days) but hopefully this will help someone else out. acurcione
I keep getting a fatal error of some kind and then Crashplan just terminates. This has happened 3 or 4 times now. This is the error from the log: crashplan ** Shutting down runit daemon (PID 23)... XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server ":1" after 2120 requests (2120 known processed) with 0 events remaining. ./run: line 20: 37 Killed $JAVACOMMON $SRV_JAVA_OPTS -classpath "$TARGETDIR/lib/com.backup42.desktop.jar:$TARGETDIR/lang" com.backup42.service.CPService > /config/log/engine_output.log 2> /config/log/engine_error.log *** Killing all processes... I looked for the engine_error.log file mentioned in there hoping it would show more, but it's completely empty and has a date from December last year so it doesn't look like anything was written to it. Anyone care to point me in the right direction? Quote Link to comment

jang430
Hi guys, suddenly, my nzbget won't start. I've finally decided to delete app, and start from scratch. Upon choosing to install the app, got this error: [email protected]:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name="NZBGet" --net="bridge" -e TZ="Asia/Shanghai" -e HOST_OS="unRAID" -p 6789:6789/tcp -v "/mnt/cache/.downloads/":"/downloads":rw -v "/mnt/user/appdata/NZBGet":"/config":rw needo/nzbget 08b68d02cfd4a35531a7f54fddfaf761815e1fbb8c64a06a65e887d3db934f56 /usr/bin/docker: Error response from daemon: driver failed programming external connectivity on endpoint NZBGet (12c67d3fdf727b7ce5c64b8a7eca2f0916be4f2dc218971b614c3c5c95f70a15): Error starting userland proxy: listen tcp 0.0.0.0:6789: bind: address already in use.The command failed. Can Anyone tell me what this is about? How do I go about fixing this? Turns own, nothing can be installed. See attached picture Edited March 9, 2017 by jang430 Quote Link to comment
Squid
Issue 1: nzbget You already have a running app using port 6789 (another nzbget?) Change the host port for the new one Issue 2: bright-game Your host path mapping for /var/www/bgpanel has no entry. You need to assign a path. Its probably the appdata path, so something like /mnt/user/appdata/bright-game Issue 3: pydio Same as above. No host path has been set for /data. Quote Link to comment
jang430
Thanks, I finally changed the port for nzbget, and got it working. The bad thing is, no matter how I delete the image, even when I see nobody's using 6789, it still fails. What could be the reason? Quote Link to comment

Maybe the old container crashed and for some reason the port is tied up. Reboot. Quote Link to comment
jang430
Reboot several times already. I made sure Show deployed host ports don't show 6789. I even went in midnight commander, and made sure all previous folders associated with nzbget under cache are deleted, and still didn't work. Quote Link to comment
Squid
An old nzbget plugin? You could always delete the entire docker.img file and the re-add the containers. Quote Link to comment
jang430
Also not plugin. Deleted them as well. I have 1 question regarding your suggestion, for my future reference. You mentioned delete the entire docker.img. By doing so, isn't it I have to configure each docker app all over again? Or will the configuration be retained in the container templates/ my-appnamehere?
