I run in my browser CRTL + F5 and now it looks fine.

System is back in false state. Same problem like my first post.

Another strange behavior. I played a little with the system and found an Outgoing Proxy Manager item under Settings. I added my own proxy here. After I added a proxy here, the system is back to normal. If I deactivate the proxy, the same error occurs. I have tried this several times and it is always the same.

At the moment I have a workaround until the problem is fixed

Somehow I couldn't find any peace. I have now changed the DNS server. From Fritz to adguard. Everything is working now. The Fritz has also specified an IPv6 as the name for DNS queries. However, IPv6 is completely switched off. Maybe that was the error?

See the last few posts, are you using NordVPN by any chance?

Yes, I'm using NordVPN. But it still works on a different browser while NordVPN is connected, only Chrome doesn't work.

I tested now in Chrome and I see it's working now. Thanks anyway.

Hey All,

I've just updated to 7 and have the same issue. It seems to be caused by Tailscale (which I used and worked ok on 6.10). I disabled DNS from Tailscale and added it to the settings with no avail. Disabling Tailscale seems to work.

Not sure.  It works for me -> with it simply installed, and accessing the server via TS on another device.   Best bet would be to ask in the TS support thread

This still doesn't work properly. I'm on 7.0.0 and I get the below screenshot constantly when I visit the apps page. I'm on the latest version and I do not have the tailscale plugin installed.

Sorry for the delay.  I missed this.

Can you reply back with your Diagnostics.

I updated to 7.0 this morning.

- Since then the community applications have the same issue. Changing DNS does not help. CA 2025.1.16 installed.

- The issue helper plugin tells me github not reachable at all. Ping raw.githubusercontent.com from console works.

- I also have issues provisionizing a new letsencrypt ceritificate for remote access sind 7.0.

Seems like many parts of unraidOS are "offline".

All dockers and VMs are online and work flawless. It's just the host system/ui that has issues accessing unraid ressources.

I had to clear my browser cookies after upgrading to 7.0, then it worked.

Seems I resolved everything by disabling "bond0" and directly using "eth0".

I also added unraid.net and my unraid.local domains to the DNS-Rebind-Exclusion in my router.

Glad its working, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me with regards to CA -> especially if you were already on 2025.01.15+

I updated the day after the 7.0.0 release so before that version. I was getting CSRF errors on the CA page preventing it from loading.

Same problem on 6.12.14, but disabling my VPN connection solves it for me.  Was there filtering added to the community apps server?

That implies it was a stale browser tab from a previous boot.  (Which could possibly also explain why clearing cookies solved the problem)

What problem exactly?  Popup saying failed to communicate?  Or download failure?

Failure to communicate.

I just repeated the experiment.  VPN from US to EU == no communication.  Direct connection in the US == works as expected.

Interesting.  I'm going to be looking at some further logging relating to this in the next few days, but in the meantime can you go to plugins, install plugins and paste this URL in

https://github.com/unraid/community.applications/blob/0ae07b41998cc1d12ebe14c4f51156885dfb2e9d/plugins/community.applications.plg

and then see if it works.  If it fails, there should be a more descriptive message appear - post a screenshot.  If it works then I'll put on my thinking cap

After you do that, then you can hit the update on the banner.  (What you're doing here is going back a couple of versions of CA before a specific change was made)

Was wondering if it might be possible to add a star rating system to the 'app store' ?

I know there's a docker pull star rating down below but thought it might be cool to have something where the community rates apps.

Useful when there's 2 or more of the same thing etc.

Doesn't have to be fancy or verified just community based?

See stars in top right

Ratings by the community have been thought about.  No ETA on implementation

Would it be possible to create a community application for ExpenseOwl - https://github.com/Tanq16/ExpenseOwl ? I've tried building it myself but so far to no luck. If this request isn't supposed to be here just let me know and I'll move it to the correct thread...

Same issue here as well, worked yesterday morning no issues, but then in the afternoon to present, I'm getting the same dns errors as you.

I have 2 unraid servers, 1 with tailscale and 1 without. The one without works fine.
