Does search actually work and only the auto complete entries not populating or does search not work at all?

Search doesn't work at all. Autocomplete will show things as I type, but hitting enter, or clicking on one of the autocomplete options, does nothing.

Any one having problems with the searches, I need you to go to Settings, enable debugging.  Go back to CA and when it doesn't work for you hit the "Debugging" link on the left and upload the file here.

Additionally, if you're familiar with how to use the Developer Console in Chrome / FF, I need to know if there's any console errors, and it expanded so I can see the actual line within CA's code.

I cannot replicate this.

Updated to latest version of CA & getting new behaviour, when searching, in this pop up error message:

Here's the console errors:

Edit: Forgot to add CA debugging log

I can replicate it via forcing a certain thing

I see a couple of possibilities:

  1. Your system set to english, but your browser is automatically translating to another language.  CA (like many other sites) hates this, and does not operate correctly.
  2. Another plugin is trashing the translation routines in Unraid
  3. A browser extension is interfering with the OS

v2021.05.16c completely bypasses the translation routine if the language is set to be English.  This shouldn't be necessary though.  If it doesn't fix it, then the only other option is for me to TeamViewer into your system.

That’s weird, I checked the language thing & Chrome was set to ‘English’ in there, too. I changed it to ‘English (UK)’ and removed any other variant, relaunched but still the same behaviour.

However, I’d gone to the ‘Manage extensions’ setting, as I’d realised I had more than the 2 I’d mentioned before (they were hidden, instead of displaying on the toolbar, so slipped my mind) Disabled them and the search started working. Enabled them one by one, but it worked each time.

So I’m not sure which one was interfering, but it seems one of them was. If this behaviour starts again, I’ll disable one at a time & check again, but it seems to be working again for now. Cheers

I have a really weird problem: after using CA for a while, I removed one app with a goal to install it again and now I cannot install any app. After clicking install button in CA, there is a screen to edit variables (as always) and then after clicking "Apply" or "Done" I am redirected to CA window, not information about installation progress as I had always seen before.

Unraid logs show nothing, I've tried to restart the server, I have installed and reinstalled CA again. Unraid 6.9.2, CA 2021.05.16c.

Any ideas what is wrong?

What happened before you went to search for Emby?  Did some other error popup?   Based upon the Category List N/A, it had issues (presumably) download the feed, popped up a message saying use 208.67.222.222 / 208.67.220.220 as static DNS settings, and shouldn't have allowed you to search.

What apps?  Doesn't look like there's any logical reason why you're seeing what you are.

Issue replicated and added CA debug log:

  1. Clear install of CA
  2. Restart
  3. Search for "chia", click install, fulfill edit page, click "done"
  4. I am moved immediately to search results seen previously, app is not installed

However, I was able to install "binhex preclear" without issues. Is the fact that I had chia installed before impacting the installation process?

Since you're making it to the edit screen, technically it's not a CA issue.  I'd have to see the applicable XML file being created within /config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user on the flash drive.

But from looking at your previous diagnostics, there's no reason I can easily discern as to what's up.

At the time, you couldn't hit the internet at all, and the javascript error was from searching when you shouldn't have been able to.  That's fixed on the next rev already

You are correct, after doing try and error exercise for a longer time I noticed that in "/root/.docker/templates-user" there was a file called "my-chia.xml" (even though the app was removed). I deleted the file and then the app has installed successfully.

Thanks for your support!

File had to have be corrupted, as it's completely normal for a previously installed app to be there, and shouldn't affect any reinstall.

Hello, is there a way to install this plugin on 6.8.3 ?

I can't upgrade because my hardware and newer kernel diidn't works with gpu passthrough since 6.9.0 with update or new setup.

I've just updated to version 2021.06.04 and  recieve the following error message on loading the Apps page:

Fatal error during get_content ReferenceError: $clamp is not defined

I'm running Unraid version 6.9.2

What browser are you using?  Tested this with Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox, Safari (on an iPad)  Try clearing the browser cache (although you shouldn't have to)

Trying to install the latest update:

From CA, go to settings, enable Debugging  Apply and done

When it happens again, hit Debugging on the main screen and upload the resulting file that's downloaded here.  The error doesn't make a lot of sense to me without seeing exactly what transpired.
