I made a fix for this version can you check it befor release?

Yes... I just need instructions.  How do I check the fix?

Yes. Tried a few times, but cannot get the log. Any other way to see it? I ran mover a few times now, but the files with $ in the file name do not get moved.

you are aware of the "new" function since a few weeks ? security update ...

my syslog gets spammed with:
crond[2412]: failed parsing crontab for user root: /usr/local/sbin/mover.old start 2>/dev/null

what could cause that?

If you press download debug.zip it will download zip file with configs and Logan and debug of today.

Disable file validation option  if you want to move file with $.

How you run the mover and what configuration? What unraid version?

Using Unraid 7.1.2.

The mover is set to run hourly but a threshold of 30% for the cache drive is set in the tuner settings

For everyone!

Please read help description of options, I really worked to update it for it will be easy to understand the settings.

Hey, the mover always gets stuck on 'Cleaning up', I have to force quit it, what exactly is this cleaning up?

Calculate sync date if sync option enabled, restore turbo write mode to unraid settings

Ok, so, Synchronize Primary files to Secondary is set to Yes but Cleaning up happens AFTER the files have been moved (hard links included) and then just hangs until its force quit. I have turbo write set to on generally anyway, so its not forcing turbo write during.

I presume the first step to debugging this is enabling: Debug Log Mover Tuning plugin actions

Thanks

Just download: https://github.com/masterwishx/ca.mover.tuning/blob/dev-new-fixes-9/source/ca.mover.tuning/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.mover.tuning/mover.php

File and copy to /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.mover.tuning and give it execute permission (chmod -x mover.php)

I downloaded and installed this mover.php fix.  It does seem to work, or at least my mover is running now and processing my shares.  I don't have any actual files to move right now, so it's not actually moving anything.  But I will watch it for the next few days, and disable the test mode.  Thanks for the fix.

No, I am running it manually at the minute when load is low so I can monitor a start to finish end to end without hanging, so far it hangs everytime on cleaning up. Hard links are moved correctly, there seems to be no negative effects from quitting it at this stage.
