Thank you for the report.

Please update the container, the download URL changed and that's what broke BepInEx.

Thx for the fast reply, it's working now

Can you please provide a bit more information? On what system do your run the container?

AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

ASRock B550M Pro4

Unraid 6.12.10

What other information would you like?

So I just tried a fresh copy on my system and it is working as expected.

Can you please share your log output (stop the container and then open the logs).

Have you changed anything in the template? Have you changed any settings yet? To what is the path from the game files (maybe please share a screenshot from your Docker template too.

I did yet another reinstall (like the 8th reinstall) and it started working.

But if I set ENABLE_BEPINEX to true, it stops working. Am I missing something here?

As well if I try to enter additional game parameters like "-description descriptionhere", it doesnt change anything.

Modifying the ServerHostSettings.json for the description doesnt change it either.

Yes, BepInEx is not working IIRC.

Disable BepInEx and try again.

What file or better speaking in which location did you modify ServerHostSettings.json?

Did you read also the description from the container:

grafik.png.647bf1715ad46aa43371a517f5f25ea5.png

(Make also sure to first stop the container, edit the files and afterwards start the container <- editing the config files while the container is running will discard the changes)

Hi @ich777,

Thanks for all the hard work on these gaming servers, but i'm having a problem with starting your 7 days to die server, it installs the game and then shows the below and just stalls indefinitely :

What is wrong about that?

The container seems to be running fine.

Have you yet tried to connect to the dedicated server with your local IP from your server?

I want to set up a cluster with Ark Survival Ascended. I have my Scorched Earth Container running but have no idea how to connect a second one to it. I looked at the pinned post that was for ASE, but is that still relevant now? All of the docker templates in the github link, is that still good or is that just for ASE?

Thank you in advance!

Sure try it, it should work the same with a few modifications.

I don't know if someone already has it done but I'm sure it's possible.

I've been working on it since the post. I have them pretty much set up. I go onto my main instance(First server made.) I go to the Ob and I can see the other server I created. However, I get a connection timeout every time. The only thing I haven't done yet is put in -ClusterDirOverride="<PATH>" Do I still have to do this even though the installation files are in the same directory?

yeah, Everything else in the ServerHostSettings.json are applying, just not server description.

So is it now working except for the server description correct?
I would ask on their Discord or on the Steam Community Forums since this seems like a dedicated server issue not a container issue.

Then something is wrong with the port mapping.

Please set the ports always in the config since the parameters in the template doesn't seem to work as a few other users reported.

Hello and good morning.  I hope this is the right place to ask this and forgive me if its not but would it be possible for you to do a Foundry game server docker?  It just came out last week on steam and they have a Foundry dedicated server for it.  If it is possible thank you very much.  If you are too busy then thank you for all you do otherwise and I guess i'll start to learn how to build a docker.

Sorry, I don't accept any game server requests anymore since I have over 180 Applications in the CA App.

Maybe @Nodiaque or @Jamxx can help.

Everything in GAME_PARAMS is appended to the command line on server startup, so to speak launch commands but keep in mind that I‘m not entirely sure if the config files override the command line parameters or the other way around.

Are you really sure that you are changing the ports in the config and then deleting the existing port entries and create new ones with the container and host port set to the same?

I've been stuck with this for several months now... 😶‍🌫️
I thought it was related to missing Intel dependencies but no.

Currently I'm lost and I don't know how to solve this problem. This blocks me for a lot of things, especially in terms of configuration and much more.

My unraid Processor :   AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Something seems to be very wrong on your setup, it should say by default:

No it's not from what I can see from your screenshot here:

the correct location is as you can see in your docker template:

grafik.png.326cc71799e598041009cbb8f6d79e50.png

but I think something is wrong because your server name is by default "Sven Co-op" and not like in my case "Docker Sven Co-op".

Please double check the path mappings, what is the path to the game files? If it is something like /mnt/cache/appdata/... then make sure that the path stays on the cache and it's primary storage stays on the cache and you don't have specified a secondary storage in your share settings.
