That was my suspicion but I really would recommend to test the card in another machine first.

I haven't seen that exact error yet, just because you see it in the device list doesn't mean it is working properly.

If everything else is working I don't think it's a Firmware issue from the Motherboard, depending on the Hardware changes that you made.

Thank you anyway, If i get to my colo ill try to remember to update the thread.

Please post your Diagnostics.

Is this the fist time that you try to install the plugin? Did you try to install it multiple times already?

EDIT: I just tested a installation and it works flawlessly:

Yes, same result: plugin: XML file doesn't exist or xml parse error

Sorry, I really can't help here since the installation is also working fine on a second test machine.

Are you sure that the system time is set correctly?

You have relatively much packages from Nerd Tools installed, do you need all of them? This wouldn't be the first time a package from Nerd Tools is causing issues.

Do you have any AdBlocking on your network? This causes also often times issues.

Disabled pihole and uninstall every Nerd Tools package. Same result. It wasn't meant to be, thanks for trying

Sorry but I can't reproduce this over here.

But you are installing it from the CA App with the Install button correct?

also working fine here ... Intel / Nvidia based System

I have two NVIDIA GPUs in my NAS. One is a GTX 2070, which I have passed through to my Windows virtual machine. The other is a P2200. Is it suitable to install this plugin? My goal is to use the P2200 for my Plex Docker container for transcoding.

Make sure to bind that one to VFIO so that the plugin won't see it.

Yes, but nowadays a P2200 is not a good choice anymore in my opinion since a something in between a Nvidia T400 and T1000 is way more efficient.

Thank for replying!.

Can I ask why though? "P2000 outperforms T1000 by a moderate 11% based on our aggregate benchmark results."

But it‘s way more inefficient.

However in terms of transcoding it should make any difference at all, Graphic scores maybe.

In case you plan to have more than 4 simultaneous transcodes then the P2200 is maybe the better choice however that is a really rare use case.

I also have one more question. If I replace the P2000 in the future. Should I uninstall this plugin and reinstall it after I set in place a new GPU after P2000?

Nope, this is not necessary.

Don‘t forget to change the UUID in your Docker containers… :)

Unable to download stable release.

Im getting this error when trying to dl the latest or any release. All was working fine until last week nothing has changed. Should I manually delete the plg and try again? TIA

In your screenshot I see this:

grafik.thumb.png.a0219a8dc61e5384db5c41e5eb2f4966.png

This is a indication of a corrupt installation from the Nvidia Driver plugin, to fix this do the following:

  1. Uninstall the Nvidia Driver plugin
  2. Reboot
  3. Pull a fresh copy from the Nvidia Driver plugin from the CA App
  4. Reboot (or restart the Docker service)

**Update** out of no where it just decided to work.... I tried it and it finally installed... didnt change anything.

I currently made a mistake and uninstalled my working version of Nvidia-driver 550.78.x because it told me to manually download 550.90.x and now i get this error message:

This is most certainly because your server was for whatever reason not able to communicate with the GitHub API, may I ask if you have PiAlert running on your server since it was (or maybe is still) known to cause issues because it uses all the free 60 GitHub API per hour in a really short amount of time.

Hello, i've just realized my gpu is not being recognized anymore in UNRAID, this is what i seeimage.thumb.png.5412edca9ec9feff608b20e503bbcfa9.png

If i click on "Update & Download" i get this message:

how can i solve it? I've tried restarting the server to see if it was going to dowload an update but nothing, if it matters my gpu is a P4000.
Nedless to say i obviously have (had?) the nvidia drivers installed and everything was working fine.
