Hello. When i updated from 6.12.8 to 6.12.9 several days/weeks ago, I saw the new update Dialogue. There was the Problem "Call traces and crashes related to macvlan" mentioned and a link "If this affects you, see the alternate solution available since Unraid 6.12.4. https://account.unraid.net/server/6.12.4.md#fix-for-macvlan-call-traces " I followed the link and saw "404" The Site was not found. The shared mount "/mnt/user" is no longer mounted. This error has been occurring for some time now (about three updates). Usually it has to do with me doing something in my samba shares (deleting or moving). I'm already looking for it myself, but it's starting to get annoying.. This is what it looks like when the error occurs: root@unraid:~# ls -Alh /mnt/ /bin/ls: cannot access '/mnt/user': Transport endpoint is not connected total 57K drwxrwxrwt 2 nobody users 40 Apr 2 19

Hello, My docker service is not starting and is not returning much when it fails. It tries to start, acts like it's going to start, but then stops without much in the error messages. Looks like it may be an issue with "iptables v1.8.9 (legacy): can't initialize iptables table `nat': Table does not exist" based on the logs I could find but I am unsure how to overcome this. Server is a Dell R510 with 2*X5670 CPU, 128G RAM, and a DAS. It is not overclocked. Only a few docke

After upgrading to 6.12.9, 2 of my disks were reported as missing. I have since downgraded back to 6.12.8 and my disks are back. Possibly related to https://forums.unraid.net/topic/159526-6129-disks-missing/ See attached diagnostics. Please let me know what other info would be helpful for me to provide. after-downgrade-to-6.12.8-unraid-0-diagnostics-20240327-1552.zip after-upgrade-to-6.12.9-unraid-0-diagnostics-20240327-1546.zip

I want to save some energy, so I set the power control of all my PCI devices "auto". But if I do this with my unused ethernet device, this will crash the server if I change afterwards some network settings through the WebGUI (or execute ethtool as in the following example): In Unraid: # lspci -nn ... 07:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller I225-LM [8086:15f2] (rev 03) # ethtool -i eth0 driver: igc version: 5.15.46-Unraid firmware-version: 1057:87

The kernel does not see any SATA ports that are behind SATA port multipliers such as those used on ASM1166 and ASM1064 based SATA host adapters. It appears related to this Linux kernel commit: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/9815e39617541ef52d0dfac4be274ad378c6dc09 The commit attempts to correct over-enumeration of SATA ports, but it does not account for port multipliers that are common in a large number of SATA cards. A reverse patch has been

Hi, I've upgraded my Unraid server from 6.12.8 > 6.12.9 yesterday. I might (not one hundred percent sure and I don't know if I can check it somewhere) have triggered a double reboot (I think after the automatic reboot from the upgrade I want back to the home url thinking it would be down, it was not the case, so I might have reclicked on a reboot button) Once the server was rebooted, I was unable to mount my array. The field Encryption Key was missing from the GUI

Unraid's built-in Feedback Bug Reporter is not working for me, says it fails to generate bug report, so posting a forum thread instead using the format it suggests. How to reproduce: - Have Parity Checks Schedule for beginning of month - Have Discord Notifier setup - Have Email Notifications setup Expected results: - When April

The array will not start and seems stuck on "mounting disk" after updating to 6.12.9, updating all apps/plugins, and then rebooting after receiving the notification it was OK to reboot. I have rebooted a second time but the array still is not starting. I have downgraded back to 6.12.8 and the array is still not starting and stuck on "mounting disk". See attached diagnostics. Please let me know if you need anything further. tower-diagnostics-20240401_0701.zip

After upgrading from 6.12.6 to 6.12.8, I started getting segfaults and call traces, from various different processes. The WebUI would hang after a while, and the entire system would become unresponsive (ssh, kvm, etc). Safe mode without plugins was similarly affected. Unfortunately, I was not able to capture syslog of every crash and I didn't want to enable writing to flash as I had to force shutdown server each time and didn't want to deal with corrupted flash drive in addition, so

Manually running the mover on 6.12.9 through the "Move" button in the GUI invokes this command: BACKUP emhttpd: shcmd (666): /usr/local/sbin/mover &> /dev/null & However with both standard output and standard error output being piped to /dev/null no logging whatsoever is taking place. It is therefore impossible to diagnose a failing (or successful) mover operation. This is particularly annoying when you press the button "Move" and nothing happens, with no indicatio

I'm having issues with Unraid after updating to 6.12.9 from 6.12.8. I'm running a Windows 11 VM and Plex in a container and haven't changed anything major with either set up but after the update, I have been having issues with either Unraid crashing completely (Web UI Unresponsive) or my Windows 11 VM crashing and forcing me to log back in to start it back up. Not sure what the issue is but I am downgrading to 6.12.8 since I had zero issues and everything ran stable. unraid-diagnostics-20240

Re: The manual install page now links to a download archive page that only lists the latest release in a branch, that's kinda problematic in circumstances like now where 6.12.9 has a serious issue with remote mounts and people might need to run an earlier release such as 6.12.8 to have a working setup. The old site/pages used to list more versions.

I have a total of 20 disk. 2 for parity and 18 is data disk. 3 of the data disk is missing. I discovered it is connected to the 2 x pcie1x 2 port SATA expansion card. Can somebody from support look into the diagnostic report I have attached? Maybe a missing driver can fix this? I am new to UNRAID and noob to linux so if there is a fix, please provide step by step. I am going to try downgrading back to previous version and see if I see my missing disks. If not, I will

I have just installed the latest update. Unfortunately, the WebGUI is no longer available after installation. After booting with GUI, Unraid starts, but still without WebGUI (only the browser starts). Booting with savemode and GUI, doesn't want to complete (I don't get a GUI, when the GUI should start I just get a boot cursor..) So it seems to me that the only sensible process is to start with GUI but I would like to point out that starting in save mode doesn't work

So i had 2 tabs open and in one of them i triggered the update process to 6.12.9 and in the other tab i removed a plugin, which made a complete mess (like the messages from the plugin show in the update process) in the end, it broke the update process. So if u cant do these 2 things together, dont allow it. Thanks.

Hey, guys, i am referencing here as i have the same problem but for me it happened randomly and had nothing to do with any dying usb sticks. Randomly after updating containers, it might happen, that one does not update properly and i can see an error that looks like this: After that the container cannot be removed, updated or started anymore. I already tried to search further and found this bug report https://github.com/moby/moby/issues/40132 over

I'm not sure why mcelog is error-ing out. Nor why a machine check event logs to dmesg on an AMD system... As you can see here, the SGC Unriad box eventual hits a machine check event. mcelogs error about a module to use even thought this module is available and in use seen via tools system drivers. ?is there a different mcelog command to see the system error??? this system was up longer than a week and then error-ed with a machine check event... I find that any amd system with a

Hello all, after updating to 6.12.8 my server reboots every day roughly around 7 am. I've attached the syslogs and diagnostics and already mirrored to flash drive. Could anyone chime in? Since the reboots didn't happen in 6.11.x I'm tempted to just roll back. BR douji osorezan-diagnostics-20240311_1010.zip syslog-previous(1)
