  1. THANK YOU! I'm back up and running!
  2. Would anyone have any thoughts regarding my Nextcloud going into "Maintenance Mode"? I was doing a update to the next stable update released and it seemed to be working fine. Then it said there was a error and went into Maintenance Mode where I can not access anything in my Nextcloud. My Nextcloud app in Unraid is up to date (and was prior to me updating it in Nextcloud. Would anyone here know how I can fix this?? Will I end up having to completely delete and reinstall nextcloud in Unraid?? Surely not, but if I cant even log in to Nextcloud what else could I do???
  3. Hello, are there any plans to make this work with AMD cards in the very near future? Or should I just go ahead and sell my AMD and buy a NVIDIA card since I want to do the crypto mining with my Unraid machine? Will that have to wait until there is a docker that makes it so that Unraid itself can utilize AMD cards??? I dont really know how all of that works
  4. Thank you! I'm investigating the Duplicator plugin. All the how to's are for windows. I guess this will be pretty much the same though. So basically when I get ready to load in the Duplicator installation and archive files I just do it on a brand new WP container....so by doing this often (probably weekly) I'd just delete a container when Im done testing and next week install the WP container again? But when I install it dont set anything up because Duplicator will do everything, I just tell it the new URL and it loads the website with the correct url based on which server I'm installing on. (If moving to here I tell it ip:port and if moving from here to live host I tell it the url) Would I also need to reinstall the Mariadb each week when I want to move my website here to test? Or will it just overwrite whatever is there from the previous week?
  5. Thanks Kru-x! okay, I have it now where I can pull up WP with the webui and everything works. This is obviously super new to me, I've had a website for 5years but it has been a hosted Shopify site and I'm working on replacing it with a Woocommerce site so I'm just trying to figure things out. I've read through this thread but just want to make sure I understand some things correctly. if I start creating a website and its on my server ip/port then as I create it and install plugins and all that kind of stuff, its all going to be based on that IP address and then if I get ready to move it to my hosting service and be on my live domain/url, I will need to follow something in this link you shared in a post a while back https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-change-your-wordpress-site-urls-step-by-step/ and this will change everything from ip/port to live url and it will all work correctly, is that right? Is there a way to create it using my actual URL but like its 'offline' or something where I can only see it locally (since I already have a live website at said url)? So that way when I upload it to the host service it will all be correct and nothing will need to be changed? Or likewise so that I could take a backup from my hosting service and open it on my unraid to test plugins and such. Ultimatly I want my Unraid WP to be a test environment for my website so I can test updates and plugins and such before I do them to the live site. Just trying to gauge the best way to do that.
  6. Hello, I just installed CrushFTP and just am curious about security. All I did was install Crushftp from the CA....is it secure that way? Is there anything I should do to make sure it is secure? I literally know nothing about security but I need to make sure its secure, I'll be sending sensitive information to it.
  7. Thanks for the info! I'm trying to get this all configured correctly. I installed MarinaDB and then installed Wordpress. But I changed the Wordpress port from 8080 to something else because I had SAB on 8080. But eventhough I changed the port to a free port, when I click on the webui it still tries to open up ip:8080 and sab pulls up. Will it alllow me to change the port? To clarify, when I go to webui and it pulls up SAB, I can just change the port to the one I assigned it and WP pulls up fine. Its just that when I click on the webui it isnt going to the port I assigned it. Thanks so much for any info you can give. I'm excited to get this figured out, I'm going to try making this my test environment and backup host for the Woocommerce site I'm building.
  8. Hello, I have MariaDB installed for Nextcloud however I would like to now install Wordpress which also uses the MariaDB. How can I install a second docker of MariaDB? (installing a second instance so I have a separate database for Nextcloud vs Wordpress would be the correct way to do this wouldnt it? Thank You!
  9. I have a question or maybe more than "a" question lol. So I'm building a Woocommerce site that will be hosted with a hosting service, but I want to create a exact copy of it to have as a test environment so when I need to do updates and such I can do them in the test environment first to make sure everything works before doing them on my live site. Can I use this app on my Unraid server to do that and just load in all the files from my hosted website to create a exact copy? Further, if something happened like if my website host went down or my site got hacked or corrupted, couldnt I just point the A record to my Unraid ip:port where the WP is docker is and host the site temporarily from my Unraid? Would it be better to incorporate this with some firewall security stuff since its a ecomm site? I'm sorry, Ive never done anything like this, our site has always been on a hosted service (Shopify), I'm just now switching to Woocommerce where I have to host it.....so this is all new to me. I'm just wanting to confirm if all of that will work. At the time being I'm not yet done building the website.
  10. I've started using Kodi at the house and Plex just for mobile. It seems odd to me that Kodi can direct play pretty much every movie I have, no matter the format, and Plex has to transcode just about all of them. Since Kodi can direct play them all, I can move the timeline forward and backward as far as I want and it starts playing instantly. I wish I could get Plex to behave that way....i was hoping the RAM transcoding would help in this regard but it really didn't....it may have helped slightly but moving the timeline is still not a very useable experience. Oh well, its nice for mobile and letting friends/family use it.
  11. Do you guys find that RAM trsnscoding affects being able to easily move through the timeline?
  12. Thank you! Even at 60 days, that's better than where I will be in 60 days if I dont do it. I appreciate the very detailed feedback!
  13. Well if your able to upload 2.5Tb in around 5 days then that's not nearly as bad as I was reading in other places (which it was older info). That sounds fast enough to do mine in about a month. How is it on your resources? You mentioned the ram limits you gave it.....how about your CPU and hdd? Is it using enough resources that you can tell it's there working?
  14. I know this question isnt really about the app itself so much as Crashplan service but since all you guys are using it I thought I'd ask here. How slow are the backups? I have 12TB of data that I'd like to backup and I add probably around 500GB per month. From what I've been reading it 'seems' like my server would be in a constant state of backing up because the service is apparently pretty slow. My upload speed is between 20-25Mbps and from what I gather the Crashplan service is substantially slower than that and one can only expect it to backup around 10GB per day. That means if I install a single 4k blue ray movie it will take nearly a week to backup. With 12TB of data it appears it would take somewhere around 3.5 years to get the initial backup completed.....of course thats if I didnt add any more data. Is this what you guys are experiencing? How are you able to use it if its really that slow???
  15. I was looking at CrushFTP9 and have some questions. I do not know much of anything about FTP so please excuse all the ignorance I have about all of this. I have a cloud based email host that I want to do regular backups and I can set it up to save the backups via FTP. If I install CrushFTP9 on my unraid server will this be a secure way of allowing FTP? Would I be able to setup a share in Unraid just for these backups and my server be safe? My understanding is that the default FTP service in unraid exposes the entire server and it considered not very safe. Are there security risks using this FTP app and if so, are there precautions I can take to make it more secure?
  16. Could I use this guide for my situation?..... I'm extremely new to all this but I have started a YouTube channel and I create the content using my phone. I had been just using my phone directly to YouTube but have some followers in 3rd world countries where data is very expensive and they would like my content as only a podcast so that it doesnt use much data. Could I install this docker on my Unraid server, then run some kind of app on my phone that sends the video to the server. Then the server automatically publish it to YouTube and a audio podcast somewhere? Can the OBS publish just the audio to a podcast automatically along with the full video to Youtube? Also, I'd like to do this away from my servers local network as I make the videos on the go, often on the road. BUT, I can VPN with my phone to my router that is local to my Unraid server.
  17. I was told it's best to install multiple instances of MariaDB so that Nextcloud and Piwigo have thier own. Due to work I've not yet got around to setting it all up so cant offer any help there.
  18. Hello, I installed the Airsonic-Advanced but the Webui doesnt open unless I change the url from https to http. Eventhough the template says http for the port number, when I open the Webui it defaults to https://ip:4040 and when I change it to http it will open. Is there something I can edit to make it default to http.....or should I do something like run it through swag? I'm not very knowledgable about this kind of stuff but I THINK it will work with https if its in my reverse proxy setup through swag. Thanks!
  19. So the better thing (for a newb) would be to just install MariaDB a second time using different port numbers.....and during install, would I also need to change the appdata location/file name so that the second install doesn't over write the first install? (basically to keep them totally seperate)
  20. I am just trying to figure out how MariaDB works and have a question. Can you use the same MariaDB for multiple different apps? For instance I have MariaDB installed and my Nextcloud uses it. If I install Piwigo can it also use that same MariaDB? Will it just create and manage multiple databases for different apps? Is there a point where it starts to get too slow when using multiple apps? My database for Nextcloud is around 160GB and when I install Piwigo it will also be around 150-200GB. I'm sure the size isnt a issue, really just wanted to make sure that multiple apps can use the same MariaDB. Thanks!
  21. Removed them, I don't see how I could have added them....I don't know anything at all about how to do something like that and haven't ventured into anything except where instructions point you too.
  22. Confusion......do you mean to remove the line item with "remove" to the right? I thought you were meaning to remove any actual port number. How would those have got there if they aren't supposed to be there?? Does the fact that its duplicated mean there may be something wrong with the install?
  23. I'm going to try this app but if it doesnt work right (like others are experiencing), do you have any info regarding how to write the script for deleting duplicates? I can paste in a script but I have NO idea how to write one.
  24. I know I sound retarded but I cant find a second set. Are you refering to the Heimdall template? Under the "show more settings" there is a PUID and PGID, are you refering to those? I can only find the one set of ports in my Heimdall template. OHHH was my last post that had the template images confusing because I had Heimdall and Swag templates in the post back to back?
  25. I created the new directory in Nextcloud template then added the external storage and it is showing up great in Nextcloud. However it doesnt seem like I'm able to redirect the InstantUpload picture folder to the external storage folder. It 'seems' like Nextcloud creates those InstantUpload folders and wont allow me to redirect them. I even just tried to move the Instaupload picture folder to the external storage folder but it wont let me move it. How were you able to connect your InstantUpload camera folder to the external storage folder? I promise I'm trying!!! lol
