Hello - i'm having this issue as well with files downloaded from the qbittorrent docker / any files modified from sonarr/radarr etc. What do i need to do to the docker template to enable SMB ability for full read/write permissions? Sorry for beginner question but specific command would be appreciated as i didn't fully understand the readme links above the above is the same issue i'm facing, but i need to be able to access write capabilities through SMB due to specific Windows programs that i use in this User Share after files are downloaded.

Hello - i successfully installed the Windows 11 VM but haven’t been able to figure out how to automatically sleep/hibernate the VM so that my server resources can be freed up for other uses when I’m not actively accessing the VM. Is there such a setting available either within Unraid or Windows VM itself (i.e. After 30 mins of inactivity, the VM either sleeps or hibernates)? The goal is simply to prevent power usage + free up my RAM/CPU/disk usage when i’m not actually using the VM. After i’ve figured out the above - the next thing i want to figure out is how to then wake up the machine again using my remote desktop software (Anydesk). I believe Anydesk has the ability to send a WOL packet, but i want to first figure out how to sleep the VM before i do this next step.

do people generally use remote tunneled access or remote access to LAN if they want an always-on connection from their iOS device to access their server / apps / pihole adblocking etc.? and also - does anyone know what kind of battery life impact having an always-on wireguard VPN (with either access to lan or remote tunneled access option) would have on a typical iPhone 11 / 12 etc.?

I’ve noticed that docker folders on the dashboard has a GUI issue where the icons start mis-aligned when you load the dashboard page on any zoomed out / smaller resolution screen (for example, below is my iPad). Happens on iPhone safari mobile as well. Is there something internally to fix this? Would love to make it look consistent with desktop since I typically am accessing unraid from my iPad when away from my desk.

Bump re- establishing password for web UI without exposing it in docker template plaintext

Is there no alternate way to add password that doesn't get exposed via plaintext? this thread below seems to mention that you can edit a file with a salted password, wasn't sure if binhex's container also had the same option.

How to change the Web UI username / password to something other than the default? I imagine it can't be through the docker template since i don't want my password being stored as a plain text file in the template?

Bumping this for anyone that cares, I fixed my audio issues by installing VB-Cable. I was reading through ServerBuild's Gaming VM Guide and they recommended Virtual Audio Cable but it wasn't free so i just used VB-Cable instead.

yep both are set to start expanded for all folders. Do you happen to know the right command to be able to access that .cfg file from terminal?

how do i open that .cfg file? i tried to navigate using Midnight Commander and Krusader but was not able to access file (MC gives me permission denied; Krusader shows /boot/ as empty). all my containers are in a folder. See here for screenshot.

I see. I figured it out, had to use http scheme in Nginx Proxy host setup. Also setup wildcard SSL certificate with DNS challenge to get "tautulli.mydomain.duckdns.org" working

I enabled My Servers and now everytime I go to 192.168.0.100 on my LAN it automatically changes the address to [assorted letters/numbers].unraid.net/login. How do I stop this behavior? I have remote access turned off. Edit: actually - i turned off SSL/TLS to "no" and regained access to my server via traditional 192.168.0.100. Does this have any adverse impacts across any other unraid / docker / other features by keeping this on no vs. auto?

hello - i'm having trouble setting this HTTPS with NGINX Proxy Manager (NPM) and duckDNS. I don't pay for a separate Godaddy domain etc. so I just want to be able to use a free solution like duckDNS. I setup duckDNS with [mydomain].duckdns.org (and works perfectly with Wireguard VPN). I installed NPM and forwarded 80/443 to 1880/18443 on my router; then setup NPM so that "domain name"="[mydomain].duckdns.org"; ; forward hostname = unraid local ip (192.168.0.100); forward port is 8181 (tautulli in this case); scheme = https; cache assets and block common exploits both on. Custom locations blank and on the SSL tab I created a new SSL certificate with same domain name, my personal email account (hotmail) and force SSL + HTTP/2 support both turned on. I get "502 Bad Gateway" when I try to navigate to [mydomain].duckdns.org. Does anyone know what's going on to fix this? When I change "scheme"="http" then access to this specific forwarded port works but I dont know then if SSL is working as intended? I also would like to eventually setup various sub-sub domains like tautulli.[mydomain].duckdns.org or [mydomain].duckdns.org/tautulli. Is this possible with free solution like duckDNS? If so, how are you supposed to setup the "details" tab and the "custom locations" tab?

Does Unbalance support multiple cache pools? If not, is there plans to eventually support that?
