  1. Depends on how severe the problem with the flash is. Many syslogs from running systems have been posted with lines similar to this:Jan 7 12:41:24 Unraid kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck. Sometimes followed by this: Jan 7 12:41:24 Unraid kernel: FAT-fs (sda1): Filesystem has been set read-only so no configuration changes can be written.
  2. PRetty sure it says the same thing regardless if it is pre-cleared, or not.... but skips the lengthy clearing step it would normally perform if once it starts on the process of adding the drive to the array. I did not see in your syslog any evidence of you actually adding the disk to the array. Did you press the button to actually add the disk, or just stop because it says it will clear the disk? Joe L. I stopped it because it just clears it again. I tried removing the Dynamix plugins and preclearing and then adding the drive, but have the same problem of it wanting to clear the drive again. No matter what I seem to do, it keeps saying wanting to clear the drive and never lets me get to the format drive. Are you sure you are using the latest version of preclear? Are you using unRAID v6? There was an issue with the preclear signature on v6 which has been fixed in the latest version of preclear
  3. This is done with the Volume Mappings. The folders you want to access in unRAID is the Host part of the Volume Mapping, and what you want the docker to call that folder is the Container part of the Volume Mapping. If you need a more concrete example, post a screenshot of your Docker Containers showing the volume mappings, or maybe a screenshot of the popup page where you configure one of your dockers, and we can go from there.
  4. No license involved because /tmp is in RAM. Everyone has /tmp regardless of license. Are you sure you did the mapping correctly? /tmp should be on the host and /transcode should be on the container.
  5. Stop array, select xfs filesystem for disk1, start array, let if format disk1. No deletion needed since it will be an empty xfs filesystem after the format, and since this all happens with the array started, parity is kept in sync during the format. For the 2nd scenario do new config and make sure that you don't assign a data drive to the parity slot.
  6. Thanks for the help. I created a /boot/config/sensors.conf file and added only the lines quoted above. I then added "modprobe coretemp" (without quotes) to my go file. I have not rebooted, but I did run modprobe coretemp in putty, but still no temps. I'll reboot soon, just wanted to confirm I did it right before rebooting. #!/bin/bash # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & echo 192.168.20.150 media >>/etc/hosts /usr/local/sbin/vfio-bind 0000:01:00.0 0000:01:00.1 0000:07:00.0 /boot/config/plugins/snap/snap.sh -m snapdisk modprobe coretemp I think if you remove and then re-install the plugin it should work for you now. Did for me anyway.
  7. Instead of a putting a radio in your radio, why not go with something that can play the music files from your unRAID over the network?
  8. Yes, you use the double-quote "speech marks". The asterisk is a wild-card. It is used to match anything (or nothing), so for example "*Junk*" would match Junk or MyJunk or YourJunkBonds or anything else that had Junk in the middle with anything (or nothing) before it and anything (or nothing) after it. You can use -e ".TemporaryItems" for your case.
  9. I just opened the beta8 bzroot archive in 7-zip and it is there.
  10. Is your "/path/to/your/owncloud/data" in a cached user share?
  11. This is available as a plugin. Not sure I see any benefit for this to be a docker container. No, this belongs in the unRAID host so it can shut down everything. Limetech has indicated that apcupsd and email notifications would eventually be part of the core product.
  12. There is this post further down in that thread I linked to that tells how to run preclear so it doesn't use as much memory. And the next few posts after that might also have useful info.
  13. If you were running the preclear in screen you may still be able to reconnect to it and let it complete before rebooting. Do you have unMenu installed? If not then you can probably still install it from telnet. It has a powerdown script you can run and it will also let you follow the progress of preclears. You can also try /sbin/shutdown.
  14. Do you mean you can't access the webGUI or you can't even telnet? If you mean the webGUI, since you are on v5 and were trying to preclear 4TB, it is likely ran out of memory and emhttp (webGUI) was killed. See here. If you have unMenu you may still be able to access that or at least restart it.
  15. That SeaSonic has two 12V rails. A single 12V rail is the usual recommendation for unRAID (see first post of this thread).
  16. Finally got around to this http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=34549.0 Right now it is just an experiment but I think it should make this easier. Logitechmediaserver has been requested by several users and would probably be more popular than some that are in that poll. There is one already on the docker hub and I am using it, but it is a different code base from the others that are being supported here.
  17. This is the only thing holding me back. I would try to figure out how to do it myself if I had downtime or a test server.
  18. What did you put in place of /path/to/your/owncloud/data
  19. hx620 also triple rail. I think these must be aimed at people that need a lot of power for video. They are also very expensive. Where are you planning to buy?
  20. According to both Newegg and Corsair this PSU has 3 rails.
  21. Don't know about comments, but you can just cut/paste the "menu default" line which is just as easy.
