Hi Team,

Getting an error when trying to backup one of my containers  - any suggestions?

Thanks

Is some other container using the same share with LibrePhotos? Something chnges the files during backup, that would cause such errors.

Nope all unique to LibrePhotos

Coming here from the old thread.
Currently running Unraid  6.12.2 removed and installed the AppdataBackup again and i still get the `root: error: /Apps/Settings/AB.Main: missing csrf_token` error message with a white screen. Happend also on 6.12.0 and 6.12.1 (always removed and reinstalled sometimes even with a system restart inbetween)

No, still busy. Just use the per container exclusion in the meantime

Thanks! Still on 6.11.5, because I’ve seen lots of trouble with 6.12.2. Will wait a couple of weeks before upgrading

Same for me 😂. I never used my plugin on production because of that 🫢😅

Per container exclusions never worked for me. Am I missing something?

You probably need to also add the /mnt/user/... paths of those folders.

6.12.2, the plugin doesn't work properly. it didn't finish backing up all my dockers and then it also didn't start them back up afterwards, and there were no logs when i checked. 6.12.1 it was working. any idea what to look for?

Actually its exact the path, which is used for the volume mapping.

any way to skip all my media from being backed up , I have to manually exclude :/

You've probably set /mnt/user/data as being part of the "Appdata Sources" and shouldn't do that. What's your reason for adding it?

I didn't lol

@Kilrahis right. You must have set it to that path since „Save external volume“ is off and the media path is marked as internal.

Despite from that, tar should exclude it, its correctly listed.

please share (or PM) a debug log.

How do you guys handle Databases containers? I've set it to do backups of everything once a day but I have a feeling that somewhat it's breaking some containers (in a sense of stopping/starting it all the time).

  • Author

If the database container stops before backup, all is fine. If you want a dump as backup, you have to write own scripts. Maybe appdata backup could do this for us somehow. I know how to export mysql, pgsql and mongodbs, since I do it at work full automated via remote ssh.

It would really be nice to have start/stop groups to ensure a DB container and the apps using it are all stopped and backed up to ensure a consistent state between both.

Per-container "after stopped" scripts could be useful too.
