Really appreciate your work on all the other repos as well. However, I was going to customize my plex - chromecast.xml for obvious reasons of audio and video passthrough and such and couldn't find that anyhow. Could you please let us know the path to that folder. Typically it is /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/Profiles/Chromecast.xml in standard ubuntu linux installs or at /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/plexmediaserver/binaries/Resources/Profiles/Chromecast.xml on WD NAS PR4100 or such devices. Your help would be highly appreciated as always. Cheers! @binhex - Ok, so I was able to find the path in running processes directory (I believe) from Krusader Search : //proc/5063/task/5069/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/usr/share/licenses/plex-media-server-plexpass file:///ROOT/proc/5063/task/5069/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/proc/132/task/153/root/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/Profiles/Chromecast.xml However If I go manually inside the folders one by one in Krusader, I can reach via this path : /ROOT/proc/5063/task/5069/root/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/Profiles/Chromecast.xml So, I believe it is getting that data at run-time from somewhere... As always, You're awesome @binhex !! That seems to work. Although I understand this is a temporary solution, is there a way we can make it permanent. As I have seen people being able to move Profiles and libraries on a big Media Library migration as well as modifying DLNA and Chromecast profiles is quite common. I can live with this for now though. Many thanks @binhex Have a good weekend. Quote Link to comment
shadowless82
I used to have binhex plex but now I have binhex plexpass I cannot get Plex to talk to the outside of my network. Using the standard port 32400 worked flawlessly before. When check the settings it's not getting a port allocated how to I get that port allocated. Edit: I have complete removed all Plex files from the appdata folder. I've tried putting binhex plex back on still the same. Edited January 19, 2019 by shadowless82 Quote Link to comment

tazire
Im having a RAM issue with my plexpass docker atm. Basically RAM usage just keeps going up until it uses every last bit of it. I have now had to restart the docker once a day to ensure it doesnt reach 100% usage. I knew about the issues with sonarr and radarr etc and although the usage for these can be irritating they dont hog the RAM nearly as much or a quickly as plexpass has started to. Any idea what may be causing this? And what is needed to possibly diagnose this issue. Quote Link to comment
Can0n
Hello @binhexI noticed on unRaid 6.7.0 both rc1 and rc2 i no longer see a webgui option for plexpass version of your docker when clicking on the icon you only get console and the reset below...manually entering the url (ip:32400) works though so the docker itself is loading up Quote Link to comment

mikeydk
I am using the binhex-plexpass, but it is VERY slow. The CPU is running at 84%, and it takes ages for it to even get the server started, to actually access the GUI can easy take 5 minutes before it responds. Before switching to unraid I had Plex running on a debian install, and that was very fast, and I also got unraid with plex on a way smaller computer, and that is also pretty fast. I installed the docker with Community Applications, and didn't change anything, so I think I have started from scratch with the library. However, I have tried to install and remove it quite a few times now, could that reuse a previous library? And if so, how do I remove it and start over again? 2. The default "/mnt/user/appdata/binhex-plexpass" 3. No, I do not have a cache drive, would that help with this? Quote Link to comment

sjoerd
Hi, Decided to install this plex docker - since i got a plexpass - seems logical. I'm not very into docker and got a question - probably a stupid one but hey. What is stored in Host Path 2? When i want to pull the docker it's defaulted to /mnt/user/ and under the line it says Container Path: /media. So do I need to use /mnt/user/media? - My "media" is all over the place or is this a path to metadata collected by plex ms about my media? Bit puzzled edit: should it be something like /mnt/user/appdata/binhex-plexpass/ or something since I also have a /mnt/user/appdata/binhex-krusader/... But I might have to do more research on this. I believe this happens when we add binhex-plexpass docker under custom network or bridge instead of host. I'm willing to see if someone has arrived at any solution yet. Although I did try binhex-minidlna but that worked once and after server restart stopped working so I gave up on that. If I find something I'll post here. Please do the same if you find something too. Cheers! Quote Link to comment

Can0n
Hello @binhex I started having issues with my plexpass docker...it seems to pertain to hardware encoding i have had enabled for about the last 6 months from this thread the log is spitting out Starting Plex Media Server. failed to open /data/jenkins/pms-deps-universal-v2/BUILD_TAG/linux-ubuntu-x86_64/output/pms-depends-linux-ubuntu-x86_64-release-79dcc0f/lib/dri/hybrid_drv_video.so Failed to wrapper hybrid_drv_video.so failed to open /data/jenkins/pms-deps-universal-v2/BUILD_TAG/linux-ubuntu-x86_64/output/pms-depends-linux-ubuntu-x86_64-release-79dcc0f/lib/dri/hybrid_drv_video.so Failed to wrapper hybrid_drv_video.so and my plex gui becomes unreachable as does streaming from it...a restart of the docker resolves for a while before spitting out errors and locking up again if i turn off use hardware when available in plex or disable the extra parameter it all works good. it seems to start with the latest beta update here is what the latest added/fixed Edited February 12, 2019 by Can0nfan Quote Link to comment

Not 100% sure if it's a bug or something I've done but couldn't get dlna working with binhex-plexpass app. Installed binhex-plex and dlna working. So can you confirm if it works for you or anyone else having same trouble. Many thanks Quote Link to comment
Unraid-arr
Ok my latest... So can you confirm if it works for you or anyone else having same trouble. Many thanks So, I'm using reverse proxy with letsencrypt - duckdns setup. Don't know if that has something to do with this. I'll try Plex and see today if I get similar result like you.Only reason I wanted DLNA was to try and get lossless dolby atmos(truehd) playback, which I figure by my research is not possible anyhow over current HDMI 2.0 CEC and arc.I guess we have to wait for eArc updates for TV firmware or get a new TV. Other than that HDR works with DD5.1+ with native plex app on my 65" LG OLED C8.Bit disappointed but nothing that could be done for now.Cheers!Sent from my SM-N960W using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
