JonathanM
I have an idea that may require too major of an overhaul, but how about implementing granular user levels? If you don't log in, you can only view certain permitted areas, and no changes allowed. Logging in as a regular user, you can only change and view areas that the admin has given that user permissions. Log in as admin, you get full control, as well as access to user management. I'm envisioning a checkbox array, with users on one side and features on the other, and each intersection shows unchecked for invisible, half checked for view only, or fully checked for change. I can also see a use case where you want a specific user to only be able to start and stop a single app or vm, so maybe a subset for VM and docker apps with the same type of permission array. A user could be allowed to see the status of plex or emby or a specific VM, but not control it. Quote Link to comment
saarg
... Sorry for being the difficult kid And just to be even more difficult I have to mention another problem. On both my devices I had to delete the appdata or else ControlR would just continuously refresh, but thinking about it, it might be that was my slow servers fault. Since none of the others have reported the same, that must be the reason. That's ok If you remove the slow server, does it behave as expected ? PM sent. I didn't have anything on the screen except for the refresh symbol and loading (I think). So no choice to delete the server. But yes, working fine after deleting the appdata. Quote Link to comment

I'll open a feature request for consideration, when I have given more thought to this matter Quote Link to comment

CHBMB
On my previous post regarding the missing "TB" it does however report the correct array size and unit on the disks screen. Quote Link to comment

I'm pretty sure it's the same cause of this as the one we are in contact about, so no need to investigate further Quote Link to comment

beire
I purchased the app this morning. Can't seem to connect any server though. It stays stuck at adding host 192.x.x.x My credentials are 100% correct. How can I debug this ? Is there a log file? I've tried with 3 different servers running 6.2 b23 and one 6.2rc1. Also when you start automatic discovery and then decide to do It manually it will just continue discovering leaving you unable to connect manually. Would be nice if it could cancel the discovery process. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

I'm preparing a new version with an updated networking library, I hope it solves the issue. On the other hand, I found the following threads about slow unRAID with bridge mode https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=50224.msg482115#msg482115 https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=46516.msg444453#msg444453 saarg, thejamkel and beire, do they ring a bell with your scenario ? beire
I never really noticed a problem on any of the unraid servers regarding networking and bridge. And certainly no errors in the logs either. I'll see how the new version goes then. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

I do not think it's related to the bridge, as I disabled the bridge in my testing and it still didn't work. I do not experience any of the problems mentioned in the threads you linked. It would be interesting to know if the others that have problem have a dual CPU setup or supermicro board? Quote Link to comment

jbrodriguez
I've published 1.2.3, mainly trying to address the issue with adding servers - Potential fix for the issue with adding servers - Fix for size units not displaying saarg, thejamkel and beire, can you try it and let me know how it goes ? p.s.: there was a check missing in 1.2.2, so I published 1.2.3 Quote Link to comment

Removed and re-added the server, also removed and reinstalled the app. No cigar.... But at least you got the show stopper issue fixed. Quote Link to comment
