It clicked when I was going to show you. Dont know why it didnt before. Ive set up other dockers and wondered why JDownloader was giving me issues. Thank you both for your assistance. dockerstarter
@Djoss I have a special use case for this container actually. I mount a external hard drive to my ubuntu machine running this container and then i start the container with the specified /output location. But when i start the container before mounting my external hard drive to my operating system then the container creates the missing folder and my operating system adds another folder with a number behind. The downloaded content will then be written to the internal drive because of this behaviour. I would be happy if someone could guide/help me a bit with this problem. Maybe i can correct it easily with docker settings? ..or is there a docker config which could be added? 🙂 best regards dockerstarter Quote Link to comment

Djoss
On 9/22/2018 at 5:35 PM, dockerstarter said: @Djoss I have a special use case for this container actually. 🙂 best regards dockerstarter From what I know you really have to make sure to mount your drive before starting the container. I'm not aware of a method to dynamically change/update a mapping while the container is running. Quote Link to comment

Hmh 🧐 ..maybe a cronjob with combination of other things. dockerstarter
actually i just attach it to the usb port of my linux mint machine. Linux then automatically mount the drive to /media/username/nameofharddriveorssd/ i use portainer.io for a graphical administration of my local docker containers on the same machine. cammelspit
Just updated unRAID to 6.6.5 from 6.5.3 and now this is what I get when trying to access the Jdownloader WebUI. Nothing was changed otherwise. I have tried deleting the container and reinstalling it, changing the port to access the UI, the same result. Any other troubleshooting I can do? cammelspit
Really? That's it? Of course, it worked... I feel silly now, I probably should have at the very least tested another browser and then when it worked I would have thought to clear the cache. I'll bet I'm not the first nor will I be the last to have problems that are fixed this exact way, right? 👍 Thanks! Quote Link to comment

No you are not the first having this issue I should really add something about this in the README. 1 Quote Link to comment
Katherine
I'm unable to get extraction working on this docker. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Extraction is enabled in the settings and there is plenty of space on the drive. I'm able to extract the rar files manually but jdownloader refuses to extract anything. Quote Link to comment

Do you have the issue only with rar files? Can JDownloader extract other file types (e.g. zip)? Note that there no official support yet for rar5 files (https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=71069). Quote Link to comment
