I don't understand, are you using the template from the CA App?

 

1042420 is working with the template from the CA App just fine. Did you maybe put in Steam credentials, if yes, please remove them.

This indicates a network error.

 

Sorry can't help much further with that since this is a really undocumented error code from SteamCMD and doesn't say much more.

 

Please look in your Firewall/Router logs if there is something obvious in there.

Maybe try to start over:

  1. Delete the container
  2. Delete the folder for dayz from your appdata directory
  3. Pull a fresh copy from the CA App

Still cant get my ark Astraeos map to launch, is anyone else hosting this yet?

Accessing the game server console is only possible through RCON or the in game server console.

Possibly because I switches repositories from DockerHub to Git Hub Container Registry because of the upcoming change in the Rate Limits for DockerHub.

 

If you search the app in CA it‘s still there.

 

Maybe try to switch the repository in the template by adding the prefix:

ghcr.io/

Having trouble getting  Icarus server to run on Unraid, no errors just wont start.

What is the exact error?

I assume the log ends there and is not restarting correct?

 

How many resources does the dedicated server consume, did you maybe restart the container at some point when it was starting for the first point? The setup process for Icarus teaks really long, up to 10 minutes, however if you did restart the Docker container please do the following:

  1. Remove the container
  2. Remove the folder for Icarus which lives in your appdata directory
  3. Pull a fresh copy from the CA App

After that wait until you see the Start Server message and don't restart the container even if it looks like the container is doing nothing.

First and foremost, thank you for creating all the containers that you have, I'm using the rust one now and besides one little hiccup it was super easy to set up and is working flawlessly. I'm running into an issue with my rcon port. I have the port open in my router for 28017 and I've specified it in my game parameters. The start up logs looks like it's working too. When I try to connect though on http://rcon.io/ I get an error. Here are a few screenshots for the game parameters and the start up log. Any ideas?

With what IP are you connecting to the container, please note, even if it's web RCON, you have to connect with your local IP.

You rock! Thank you so much. Idk why I didn't think of that. I was trying to connect via the web IP.

I have the same issue. I have several gameservers that I run at home for games with friends and family but all are being displayed as deprecated now.

I have successfully Hosted Killing Floor but don't know how to modify Launch Startup. I tried changing in GAME_PARAMS_EXTRA but it didn't work.
Please help me.

Because you shouldn't do it like that, what do you want to edit/add exactly? You don't need to include ./ucc-bin

 

This is a hard coded line:

I want to change the server startup command to my own, not the default because my server uses gamemode and customizes a lot of things.
Example: ucc-bin server KF-CustomMap.rom?game=CustomGameVACSecured=true?Mutator=ScrNBalance?MaxPlayers=30... (Example).

Please update the container itself with 'force update' (with Advanced View enabled) on the Docker page from Unraid, after that you can use it like that:

so to speak like:

KF-CustomMap.rom?game=CustomGameVACSecured=true?Mutator=ScrNBalance?MaxPlayers=30

please don't add 'ucc-bin server', this field is only for game parameters, you could of course add '-DisableDeathSpectator' or anything like that but please make sure they are valid game parameters, this would then look something like:

KF-CustomMap.rom?game=CustomGameVACSecured=true?Mutator=ScrNBalance?MaxPlayers=30 -DisableDeathSpectator
