@ich777 Do we still need this plugin installed in the latest version of Unraid to run our iGPUs on modern CPUs or is it built into Unraid now? I'm going through and cleaning up old plugins I have installed.

I have a i9-12900h (alder lake). I use igpu in plex, jellyfin, tdarr, immich containers.

I have installed gpu stat and intel gpu top.

All is working correctly.

Today i switched from i915 to XE driver. Since then then gpu stats doesn't display anything.

here is the result intel_gpu_top:

intel_gpu_top 
No device filter specified and no discrete/integrated i915 devices found

Can we display gpu statistics when using xe driver ?

edit: I didn't notice at first but transcoding was working jellyfin but not in plex.

And i also noticed that after reboot my usb stick died so i transfered the license to another one and restored a backup from last night.

So i'm now back to i915 driver and all is working correctly.

Is there a way to have xe driver fully functionnal ?

I have an issue with detecting a temperature sensor.

sensor-detect reports it as Ite 0x5571.

It appears not to be supported by the ITE plugin?

I'm using the Ugreen LED plugin for the dxp4800 plus. Today, one of my HDD LEDs turned from the usual white to pink, and that persisted on a reboot. Nothing appears to be amiss with my server or the array, and everything seems to be functioning normally. I don't think I've seen this even mentioned as a possible output — am I potentially experiencing an LED issue?

Depends about which plugin are we talking about.

If you are talking about RadeonTOP or IntelGPUTop then maybe not but only if you don't need GPU Statistics.

I have to look into that but last time I checked IntelGPUTop wasn't compatible with the xe driver but from what I know they plan to support it in the future.

If your chip isn't supported by the ITE plugin then it won't work, exactly.

I'm not 100% sure, you can try to remove the plugin, reboot, install it again and reboot again to see if anything changes.

I don't think it is, but I saw that the plugin is downloading drivers, and thought they are running in userspace.

I am trying to pass the hardware through to a plex docker container for hardware acceleration.

I also want to see it in GPU statistics on my dashboard.

I've no idea really where to begin with this. Any idea why it doesn't recognise the intel igpu?

You are in the wrong support thread, Intel GPU TOP is just a tool to visualize the utilization.

However Intel GPU TOP isn't able to visualize the utilization from newer GPUs AFAIK.

You should create a post in the corresponding Plex Docker container support thread if you want to get HW transcoding working.

I'm trying to get my Vega 8 GPU inside my Ryzen 5700g (device ID 1002:1638) to reset properly. I installed the AMD vendor reset plugin and it is loaded acording to lsmod | grep vendor.

Sadly it's not working: when staring a Linux VM for the second time the system nearly freezes for about 30 seconds then comes back and I can see the VM booting in VNC but the Screen stays black.

Is it possible to release a new version of the Nuvoton NCT6687 Driver with the latest code from https://github.com/Fred78290/nct6687d? An update was committed a few weeks back to fix fan control on newer MSI motherboards (and I have one of them). Thanks!

I'm on 7.2.0. Latest available plugin is 2025.05.12

The change was merged to main on https://github.com/Fred78290/nct6687d/ two days after your most-recent version was pushed.

Any idea if proper driver for it8792 is available anywhere and how to install it? After installing the ITE IT87 Driver by ich777 I got multiple PWM exposed to various plugins. I can control the IT 8688 ones, but can't control 8792 ones but they do report RPM.

This has nothing to do with the plugin version, the driver packages are compiled when the Unraid version is released.

Just so I’m clear, this isn’t intended for GPU stats, mostly iGpu. My a380 worked fine with it but my b50 pro stats aren’t showing up so I should be good to uninstall this?
